because reasons.
Which reminds me, if I ever get my futuristic warfare thread up I'd like Silverwind to be the Co-GM.

depending on what part of the military we will be playing as.

it'd be much easier.

also, I'm not gonna post until one of the others in my flight post- I don't like being flight lead.

It's even more fun when a GM does this.

E: it happens, move on and try again there will be much more failures than successes but one day you'll hit the right mix of story and writers.

that happens so many times

used to be a Sci-fi mercenary thread on here(not gonna name it) that was made by the same person, which generally had the same setup for the first mission. This guy tried to make it twice in about 6 months time and after like half a month of roleplaying each he drops out and says he lost interest and focuses on his other roleplays. Seriously, if you're going to make a thread of that magnitude you don't leave us with our pants down. I don't get how people think that retrying an RP that they let die will work.

And yes, I have also seen that dedicated RPers are seldom found. I've been lucky to find two in the last two years of roleplaying on different sites. I had a futuristic warfare roleplay I was making back before the OldGuild was shut down, and EVERYONE showed MASSIVE interest- died out before anyone posted(this also happened with a Planetside 2 thread I had but that actually died out after 3 posts.)

That's why I tend to not make the threads and look around. that or take my time and look for reliable roleplayers from the last one's I've been on.

Bright haired, Short-fused characters whom love to drink alcohol and have many partners.

that or Brown hair, happy-go-lucky characters whom only get mad if someone insults their way of life

that, or characters that you can compare to Maes Hughes.
My achievments...

well, one graduating from a short 1-sentence post to around a paragraph or three posts.

And one being able to make my own roleplaying worlds- though none of them are far from over as I seek IMPROVEMENT!

One roleplay that I'm still doing is going to hit three years old this October.

And the one I'm most proud of is the death of my character, Clair, whom found out her wife was cheating on her- drank herself to death after a bout of rage, crying and curses.

As Dr.Richtofen said "I take your pain... I put my straw in it! *slurping sounds* And I DRINK IT UP!"
HE HAS CONFIDENCE IN US!

PRAISE DE LORT!
I've had some pent up frustrations for Roleplaying for a while now.

Let me tell you them:

1. I'm annoyed with going onto my sites and finding that 13 year olds are roleplaying fantasies of marrying and having children with their boy bands- and half the time this is on a board where there were THOUSANDS of good roleplays on it. They spread like a plague. I almost dropped 2 sites just because 5 pages on the Human board consisted of nothing but 1D roleplays.

2. People whom say they are 'interested' in a roleplay idea and live either mid-roleplay or leave before it even starts. It sucks when you prefer to only have up to 8 people in your thread and you only get like 3 or 4 on board. If you don't even post to tell me what's going on then I'll either start looking for another person or lock the thread depending on how important your character was to the thread- if you do, then it's fine I will move along but if you get on after a month of no posting and try to become friendly again I won't accept it. If you can't even make a fraction of a second of time to get on and say you're really busy, then you aren't worth being apart of the roleplays. I admit I'm not the best GM or roleplayer, and I have stalled roleplays but I atleast tell them why BEFORE it dies.

3.When people want to have it their way and their way alone. It's aggravating to be roleplaying with someone and they are being jerks because they want this and this to happen, not giving you any free reign in the plot. It's not a roleplay anymore then- it's a story you're making me type out for YOU.

4. When someone's not paying attention, and I mean REALLY not paying attention to what's going on. I sometimes forget to pay attention to some minor details in threads but not as bad as what I've seen. I have been in plenty roleplays across many sites where someone doesn't see that they have progressed the story and that person is still in the last section.

Ooooh.

more muse

and it just happens to be on a thursday. I got all this time to post!

Is it wrong to compare your character to a FMA character?

like, at all?

and nice, Silverwind, I was going to suggest Thunderstruck xD
Wow.

surprised I did that good

probably because I'm better at refueling than fighting.
