Adam ignored Marcus' comment, he didn't know the man and Marcus didn't know him either. More and more the team was having problems with getting along and Adam wondered how this would all turn out. Adam had trouble sleeping, his mind was a mess with the anxieties of what would come of more messy missions like the one they had completed. His superiors would not be too pleased if his reputation got tarnished by a string of failures and excessive collateral damage. Adam decided to meditate to cam his mind and tried to figure out what would be the best course of action for the coming morning. When his alarm went off, Adam quickly got dressed for training and headed straight for the room. He was military trained so he was use to early morning rises and quickly hurried to the training room. When he got there Adam saw that Fenrir had already gotten there before him and he was Impressed by the dedication of their leader.

He donned a costume and took the name Quake and began his career as a hero. He hopes to one day become one of the best superheroes of all time. Other: {Did I forget something you may want to add? This is where ya do it.}
@Darcs I totally agree with that point. My problem is that legalizing it allows to be marketed to children. Similar to smoking.
Marketing and being able to sell to are two different things.
If a commodity that is illegal is made legal, it will become more widely consumed as a result.
Yeah, I think the current predictions are something like 10% of the population of America would become permanent drug addicts if we made chasing the dragon legal, with millions more using with less devastating effects.
If the rest of us weren't on the hook for the drug user's medical treatment, and all the extra law enforcement costs (cops, legal fees, etc) associated with the statistically inevitable consequences of that hard drug use -- then sure. As it stands, if you consider it the government's job to let me do whatever the fuck I want, then they have to enforce a modicum of common sense on the small outlier-percentage of people who are too stupid to stay out of my way. And as long as I need the feds to do that, I need them to take it seriously as hell. In a perfect world, you shoot up with whatever you want and it doesn't bother me in the least. I'd love to be there. Until there's a way to eliminate my liability for someone else's bad decisions, then it's in my interest to keep them from making bad decisions. And that's why my government has to regulate drugs.
That's fine, you don't want people doing drugs because you don't want a junkie holding you up for their next dime bag. I won't sit here and pretend like the right to do drugs is some divine natural right, but I do think that people should be able to take any action, as long as it doesn't hurt other people. Shrooms don't make me want to go harm people, the risk that I'll become a mushroom crazed junkie is there, I'm sure, but then-- with most things there's a risk that maybe one day I just snap and decide to fuck with people. Does consuming psilcybin increase that risk? Probably. But it doesn't make the action taken against the welfare of others certain. I would rather exist free with an increased risk for personal harm than willingly trade away some of my freedoms for a security that isn't even promised.
My stances on drugs is that if it were up to me then I would try get rid of all of them with affirmative action, my government would do it gangster squad style by smashing all of the suppliers and taking down drug cartels and their allies. Drugs fuck up and as a person living in a city I can tell you that it does screw people up
I know. I'd rather drug use be legal and have money spent helping those who do them than 1 ounce of the stuff get someone 5 years.
would you be fine with groups of government vigilantes taking it to the suppliers and cartels and smashing their empires and operations? That would mean that rather than going after the small time dealer and abuser, we go after the big boys and take them down. That alone would shatter most of our drug problems
I really hope that Comrade Saw gets accepted.
I am trying to decide between Shade the changing man or Animal Man
Lois dies, Earth has a gillion superheroes by then, so Kal becomes an interstellar wanderer for a time.
that would be cool
Charles wondered why Guardian Angel would think that he would be able to help. "What makes you think that I would be able to help you? My powers as you can see are dark and draw from chaos" he said as his body emitted red sparks of electricity, showing that his magic didn't like being so close to a being like Guardian Angel.
Catman was glad that they were no longer in that god offal prison and would see some more action. Even before they were informed of their journey to Bialya, he knew where they were going thanks to his great sense of direction and tracking skills. He didn't talk much with his teammates, he hoped that Deathstroke wouldn't be the team leader or the Reverse Flash, both of them were assholes in his opinion. The Flash ripoff was more of douchebag than the one eyed mercenary, but the words that Deathstroke had with Thomas made him dislike him a lot. As for Captain Boomerang and Ravager, he was still on the fence about whether he tolerate them more than the two ego heads. He had to admit that Boomer was pretty funny at times, but his personality could get on his nerves. Rose he was still unsure of what to thing about her, she seemed to have some possible obsession with Deathstroke. It didn't bother him, he use to have a thing with Catwoman but she started chasing after the Bat and Thomas didn't look back. When they finally got a safe house, Amanda Waller was introducing them to the legendary Crime Syndicate of America. Catman had heard of them, they were from another universe and were the evil counterparts to the Justice League. Thomas took an interest in Owlman and wondered if he was more of a formidable force than Batman. He then watched as Deathstroke got into an altercation with the evil counterparts, typical, he jumped the gun. While Capt prepared himself for a fight, Thomas just stood perfectly stood, showing no fear or wariness. When people began to do introductions "My name is Thomas Blake, but you are all to call me Catman" he told them. He then noticed Orm's entrance and Thomas was surprised to see an atlantean joining their team, he thought that they were put in an aquarium. "So is it true that you all talk to fish and that's the only thing you atlanteans can do?" he asked curious to know if what the media thought about Aquaman was true of his people.
I'd rewrite the character to not be so lame.
I think he is way cooler than most superheroes, and he's a better person
Issue i have with Superman is that he's OP, and being OP is lame.
Not sure if serious, or elaborate wordplay. Either way you're right. If I could write a superman story, it would be about batman.
again flawed argument
Hey guys, I'm going to start working on the events that occurred in the five year gap. Basically, there's going to be a year of protests against the government after Ruby releases information on Genesis. Then a civil leader comes forward and engages in peace talks. These talks go to the UN and a charter is signed for the rights of Metahumans. Mercs become less used and heroes are rife so people come to accept metas. After some random event in the middle east, a group of international heroes is formed and eventually, even the humans look up to them. All the while, the Underground Movement gains power and begins working on genetic alterations. If you want to add anything into this basic synopsis for me to add to the main background of Arc 3, just say here or pm me!
Well if it's been five years then Ruby would probably have had fights with Adam and John. I will have both Adam and John will be acting as heroes, but are keeping tabs on the heroes and are on the lookout for Ruby. also what should we do now? Where should the group go?
