Bruce looked around at the SOLDIERS milling about and getting coffee, as well as eating. He shivered again in the cold. For a military group, things seemed to be pretty damn leisurely. Besides Corr, no one seemed to pay him any mind. Except her. He turned around to see Carmen their leader and Fenri exploded. Bruce clenched his fist, crushing the burning cigar between his gloved hands. If one were to notice, small sparks of electricity seemed to be shooting a short distance from his feet, melting the snow to reveal barren permafrost soil. Get a hold of yourself! thought Bruce angrily, trying to look as inconspicuous as possible, his face scowling more than usual as he looked at the leader of this ragtag band. SHE'S A THREAT, YOU FOOL, WE MUST END HER!!. Bruce couldn't think clearly, this was the first time Fenri had been this agitated in a long time. Lightning begin to spark out at random from his body, melting even more snow. I got to make sure I'm far enough to not harm anyone here! thought Bruce, trying with tremendous difficulty to maintain control. He pulled a face of annoyed indifference at Carmen's info saying "Well, so much for government efficiency. I'll walk the perimeter, I already ate."

Bruce took hold of his rifle and walked quickly away from the group, lightning trailing occasionally behind him. FUCKING IDIOT, SHE WILL DESTROY US IF GIVEN THE CHANCE. Bruce kept walking turning left and right at random intervals once he was out of the others visual range. WE HAVE TO-

ENOUGH!!!

Bruce erupted into lightning, large arcs like the legs of some abominable electric spider shot out of him and circled randomly. He kept walking, as far away as he could get safely. They snow around him was melting and sparking and popping. We will do no such thing, if she really is as dangerous and volatile as you say, we can't just attack her, much less with every other SOLDIER there! thought Bruce vehemently, he dusted off his glove and reached into his chest pouch for another cigar, which his lightning destroyed in his hands immediately. He knew Fenri had done it. Bruce screamed and slammed his fist into ground, an electric punch that fractured the ice and hard, dead soil. He kneeled there for a few minutes catching his breath. The lightning began to subside and Bruce pulled out the last cigar he had on him, lighting it and puffing on it a few moments, looking around. He took hold of his rifle once more and made his way back to camp.

He hoped his 'comrades' didn't see the light show.
@Fancy Party To be honest, I think this is good as its gonna get bro. Sometimes its better just to wrap it up and tuck the idea in storage, wait until you got a bit more experience on the site, you know? I've had multiple roleplays I've tried to start in the past fail, its no big deal.

Bruce took a long drag of his cigar as he looked back at Corr's comments, allowing himself a small smile "It's a technique I've spent years perfecting." The shyps were landing and Bruce barely blinked when a flash of flesh raced past him and began to puke. Bruce looked at the young man for a moment, doubting the competence of his forming team. "Yeah, no kidding, hope that guy doesn't get you killed." Fenri said with vague amusement. Me too, Bruce thought, looking to the other shyp arrivals and the other soldiers that were forming up. He knew them all of course, either by reading their file or simply talking to them. He made it his business to know as much as possible. He saw two SOLDIERS trying to help the puking one, one of them as a young woman, the other looked like a man closer to Bruce's own age. Must be Stone and Eldric, he thought, mentally going over what case file he as authorized to view. He called out to them "Let him puke, we need him clear of any sickness for the Op."

Bruce turned towards Corbyn Vesper, the defacto second in command. "Speaking of which, when can we expect to hit the skies and get boot on the ground in Arcadia, Commander? As much as I love freezing my ass off here, I'm ready to go." He tapped his cigar ashes onto the cold tundra floor, the iciness taking away what little spark they had. Corbyn Vesper was the model of a soldier, a military man through and through. young, but not too young that he was a greenhorn. Bruce felt more comfortable with him than he did with some of the more...off, SOLDIERS, like Amentia Ɵ B C Ʌ Ṣ U Ṡ. Of course he would never let it show on his face, she gave Bruce a bad feeling. Sure, he may talk to a voice in his head, but he was pretty sure every SOLDIER did. She was different. Bruce took another drag on his cigar, awaiting a response from the SiC.
@Musaki Hajime I'm good to go.

Bruce brought the cigar he had pulled out of his vest to his mouth, shivering slightly in the whistling tundra winds. The former police lieutenant was adorned in an arctic camouflage combat gear, a mixture of police SOG and infantry. He snapped his fingers in front of the cigar, a spark arcing between his thumb and index finger, lighting the cigar. He sighed and gave it a few puffs as a coy voiced echoed "Isn't that using your power irresponsibly?". Bruce rolled his eyes and stroked at his beard, brushing away the ice crystals that had begun to form. He knew the cigar would keep Fenri quiet, it liked the fumes as much as Bruce. A heavily modified assault rifle hung from a strap that's wrapped around Bruce. It had several options for sightings, including short to long distance with a grenade launcher hooked onto the underside railing. On his thigh was strapped an equally heavily modified sidearm. Attached to his lower back was a customized machete. All along his vest was ammo magazines, silencers for both of his weapons and grenades of the smoke and flash variety.

Bruce looked around the formation as they waited, taking hold of his rifle. He was easily the oldest one here aside from one other SOLDIER who could have come close. Children he thought to himself bitterly. I am stuck with a bunch of children. Bruce thought back to the moment he was captured with a scowl...No, he has to keep his head clear. The only way he could get out of this is too get on the brass's good side and get them off guard. "Oooh, isn't that conspiracy to commit treason?". Bruce simply shrugged his shoulders, turning his eye to the sky, scanning it for the shyps that were supposed to arrive soon. The mission was to infiltrate Archadia, which was politically sensitive and obviously highly classified. Bruce wondered if the same people that committed him to this was behind this very mission. Pricks. He looked again to his comrades. The boss was a woman who looked like trouble in a pretty case. Bruce pondered if she signed up for this or if she was conscripted like him. Probably the former, she seems like type. He looked to the sky as he heard the hum of their transport. Finally.
I can dig it

Name: Sebastian Bergwerk

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Appearance: Sebastian is a short and slight boy, with dark hair that looks almost blue when the light hits it a certain way. His body, however skinny, is somewhat toned due to the nature of his family. He wears a mix of his own attire with state uniform, the only thing that's constant is the layer of dirt and grime and his state alchemist pocket watch. He's often wearing a pair of state blue goggles on his head, with blue cargo pants and the black undershirt that all military personnel wear. On formal occasions, he will wear his full uniform to look the part, mostly to avoid any attention to himself. He can sometimes be seen wearing large leather and metal gloves with transmutation circles on them, one could only guess what he uses them for.

Personality: Sebastian is an earnest, charming, and quite genuine person. He can be sarcastic and witty at times, but he doesn't mean any true harm to anyone by it. He's probably one of the last people someone would consider military material or in fact a genius, yet he's both. He's quite deserving of his rank as he is also happens to have a natural talent for battle strategy. He's not too concerned with outward appearance, even in the presence of someone he's romantically interested in. He believes it gives himself character. He does shower, at least once a week, but one way or another, he's always got a dirt or grime somewhere on himself. He despises oppressors of any kind, from schoolyard bullies to tyrants. Sebastian believes in Fuhrer Mustang, more so than he did Bradley. That's one of the reasons he became a state alchemist, to do his part in ensuring Amestris remains as tyrant free as possible.

Specialties:
Primary

- Earth Alchemy: Sebastian specializes in the transmutation of every element of rock, soil, metal, if its related to the earth's core features, you can bet he knows how to manipulate it.

- Natural Born Mechanic and Engineer: While he's always been too small to be an effective miner, he sure knows how to make stuff work. His mind is wired mathematically and there isn't anything he can't fix.

Secondary:
- Skilled Driver: Sebastian can drive pretty much anything, even if he doesn't really know how he can figure it out pretty quick.

- Geologist: The nature of his alchemical research makes him more or less a bonafide geologist, he knows all about rocks.

- Strategic Talent: Sebastian is a surprisingly good tactician and even surprises himself sometimes with the successful plans he comes up with.

State Title: Major Sebastian Bergwerk, The Roving Earth Alchemist

History: Sebastian Bergwerk was born to a miner and a waitress in a mining town in eastern Amestris. His two older brothers were born a few years apart and three years before he was born. Growing up, Sebastian always like to believe his body was so small because all that mass had went to his brain. Because he was so small, he got work solving problems practically than with strength. He became the town mechanic/scientist/engineer and was often called upon to make sure things are running. He began to discover alchemy when he was 9 years old, when he found some old books about it on the edge of town. All of a sudden, he didn't just have to solve problems with his brain power alone, but with the help of alchemy. He began to study it and put it to use, some experiments successful and others disastrous. Sebastian began to form a fascination with the earth and begin to learn more about it and eventually manipulate it with alchemy.

But disaster struck when he was 13, his father was in a mining accident. Sebastian used alchemy to save his father's life, but he was crippled, his legs shattered and useless. The blow was devastating. His family would lose a source of income and have to spend extra to keep him medically sound. A few months later, Sebastian heard the story of Edward Elric, the youngest alchemist in history and thought, "If he could do it, why can't I?". He knew the money from the alchemist position would be great for keeping his family in the black and the resources available could offer a way to fix his father's legs and expand his own knowledge. So Sebastian set out for the capital and passed the test, becoming one of the youngest state alchemists and one of the youngest officers in the military.

Equipment:

- Miner Goggles: Goggles he wears on his head everywhere, he painted them blue when he became a state alchemist.

- The Earth Gloves: A pair of gloves he's been experimenting with, they allow him to manipulate the earth with a snap of his fingers through the transmutation circles inscribed on each glove.

@Rockette Also, I'm assuming we're crossing the channel since we're in the tundra? So will that mean we'll have to dodge coast guard?
@Rockette Oh my god its so sexy, I love it, thank you!
@Rockette Bruce can do infiltration. While he is a bit *Cooky Noises* he's still a highly trained and experienced cop and has had to go in silent on many cases. Plus smoking a cigar before a mission start helps keep Fenri in check. They like the scent.
