Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

I'll be getting a post up soon-ish.
I feel the same, to be honest. The lack of active HP RP's has been kind of disappointing, so it'd be good to have at least one on, so count me as interested.

As for specifics, I generally like playing the Hogwarts setting either as a student or a teacher, mostly because it keeps things organized enough that no one loses their heads, but not necessarily linear so there's still room to branch out, but that's just from my experience.

I personally like the idea of the Hogwarts life- It always appealed to me to have a group of people go from their first year until their last together with huge character growth and plenty of plot ideas to come as the years go by- and friendships and enemies reveal themselves.

@Duoya small correction! Yuri's hair turns gold when she goes magical girl.
Kaneko Yuri

Yuri day was going so slowly, it was almost physically painful - it felt like she was itching all over. She'd hoped that cutting classes and hitting the arcades would alleviate some of the boredom, but in the end it was pointless; as she thought, the only way to scratch this itch was a fight. She couldn't think of anything else that would do it. Sadly, it was the middle of the day, and delinquents, the fun ones at least, didn't come out until evening hit. She could always start a ruckus in a local slum, but that felt like too much trouble, even for her - the people there had long memories, and though they were usually sportsmanlike about getting the crap beaten out of them, if it was uncalled for, they would prove to be vindictive and petty - she knew this for a fact.

No delinquents, no slum dwellers, no bikers gangs out at the moment. So, all that was left were Negari.

The thought sent an excited shiver down her spine. It had scarcely been three months since her inception as a magical girl, but more and more she was beginning to enjoy her 'duty' - being able to fight Negari was probably the best thing to ever happen to her. The entire sensation was just too different from fighting person to be any comparison. The demons always took different forms, always had something up their sleeve.

More importantly, there was absolutely no hesitation. The black spawn would, and could, take every chance to kill her. There was no reservations, no moral compunctions about ending her with the next blow - they wanted her dead, and she could respond in kind.

Every move could be her last. A single mistake could cost her life. And all the while, if she survived, she would become stronger and stronger.

She didn't think she'd ever get enough of it!

If there was one downside to this whole magical girl deal, however, it was . . .

"P-please stick to the patrol route I outlined for you Yuri!"

A distraught looking fairy floated next to her, wafting around what looked like a map of the city. Yuri sighed, and continued walking, phone in hand. It wasn't as though she didn't understand, she really did. She had a duty to keep the city safe from Negari, and she had nothing against Frudie wanting her to be a model magical girl - the fairy had a right, she was the one responsible for her becoming one in the first place - but something as mundane and regimental as patrolling was just not her thing.

More to the point, the word patrolling implied another thing, that wherever she went was a part of her territory. A bit earlier, she had gotten into a rather heated . . . debate with a neighboring magical girl. She was unaware that, apparently, some magical girls declared certain areas as their territory for some reason or the other. It certainly made combating Negari over a large area efficient when each girl knew who or if someone could respond, but for someone like her who was unaware of such things and frankly just didn't care, well, it was a constant cause of conflict.

In any case, her fairy partner insisted on following a planned-out route to patrol, as well as a bunch of other troublesome activities all so that she could be a 'model magical girl'.

"Aah, come on Frudie-chibi, it's my day off, cut me some slack!" she whined halfheartedly. They've done this song and dance a dozen times before.

Frudie replied with the expected answer. "That's what you said yesterday. And the day before that. Also, you're supposed to be at school right now!"

"Ah yeah, forgot 'bout that!"
The fairy gave a long-suffering sigh. Yuri had no intention to take this seriously, that much was clear. Still, it wouldn't hurt her to just go on a patrol every once in awhile! Just to make it apparent that she was doing her duty as a magical girl and not skiving off doing who knows what with her abilities!

Except that was exactly what she was doing. Frudie sighed as her partner stopped walking to take a seat.

"Good signal here."

The two of them were no on top of a signal tower. Why they were here, Frudie had no idea - she couldn't even recall how they got here!

"Anyway, no need for a patrol right now. Looks like we got a Negari attack near Yamashita," she said, staring at her phone. Social media was a one hell of a blessing for things like this. A grin slowly made it's way across her face.

Just the thing she needed to scratch that itch . . .

. . . is what she thought at the time. By the time they got there, it looked like a bunch of magical girls had already responded. Their opponent was one huge Negari. Powerful, but dimwitted and with some cooperation, not really much of a threat. The thing was practically done for. Observing them from atop a nearby building, she had a good vantage point to view the battle.

Ugh, she wished she got here earlier. Much as she wanted to dive in and join the fun, there wasn't actually much left to do.

Well, she did watch the other Magical Girls at work. Observing her fellows in battle was always interesting for her. She's gotten into a few scuffles with them in the short span of time she's been one, but never a serious fight - Frudie insisted more than anything else that she not get into a fight with another Magical Girl. The times it looked like it that line might actually be crossed, the poor fairy would break down into tears and cling to her like no tomorrow, and that kind of display killed off any chance of her actually enjoying the fight.

Back to the battle with the Negari, the girls were chipping away at it, one chunk at a time. As expected, lack of any form of strategic planning offset the things huge size. Eventually, it was overwhelmed through the girls teamwork. She gave them a respectful smile from a distance. It was a good fight, even if it didn't really get her blood-boiling; it was pretty cool to watch them give it their all. Judging from how worn out they were, they had really pushed themselves. The purple haired girl looked just about ready to keel over too.

She was just about to get up and leave when her instincts screamed at her. Her head whipped back, and suddenly dozens of Negari flooded the streets. Her eyes narrowed as she watched them spread everywhere, their destructive instincts calling out to them as they attacked nearby civilians.

She grinned. It looked like she would get to have her fun after all.

"Frudie-chibi," she motioned, and the fairy nodded in understanding as she prepared to enter her 'Magical Girl Mode'. As power flooded through her, her clothes dissolved only to be replaced in an instant with her signature kimono and geta. Her hair shone brilliant gold, and like a comet crashing from the heavens, Magical Girl Golden Flower descended!

Her first landing ended up killing two Negari on the spot. She found that relative to their size, they were fairly weak, pretty much the run-of-the mill Negari. The only problem was how many of them there were.

"Well, whatever," she thought offhandedly. She'd do what she could. Things like crowd control were out of her hands.

Through the chaos of the street, she was acutely aware that the magical girls from earlier were being surrounded. She had no idea how well they'd fare to being swarmed, but she was aware that they were fresh from a fight. What's more, she could see one of them crying. With a 'tch', she shot towards them.

Golden Flower bulldozed her way through several Negari who had yet to react to her presence, tossing them or smashing their heads in with incredible strength, until she landed in front of Aigis. Inhaling deeply, she planted a foot in front of one Negari, and kicked with enough force to sending it flying with several others.

She gripped the purple-haired Magical Girl by the collar, lifting her towards her face.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? This is no time for tears, understand!?" she yelled, glaring angrily at the other girl.

Name:
Kaneko Yuri

Magical Girl Title:
Golden Flower

Age:
16

Gender:
"Is this even a question?"

No point crediting the artist lol

Personality:
For Yuri, strength is everything. Of course, her definition of strength is somewhat nebulous, so when asked what is strength for her one is likely to receive a different answer every time, but nevertheless, her pursuit of strength is what defines her. She respects an abundance of it, and disdains a lack of it - and does so openly and without hesitation. Some would say she's an honest girl, while others would call her arrogant; it doesn't matter to Yuri, as the truth has always been far simpler:

She lives the way she wants to, with little regard for others opinions or beliefs.

Her motivations aside, she's someone who enjoys a challenge, and her favorite method of enjoying herself is none other than battle. Whether it be against Negari or other magical girls, the thrill she gets from pitched, high-stakes combat is perhaps unmatched among all other magical girls. In fact, among her peers, she's infamous for her reputation as an unrepentant combat junkie. Of course, this attitude extends to actions outside of combat, and in every aspect of her life, Yuri will undoubtedly give it her all if it means overcoming what she deems a challenge. In that sense, for Yuri, it's all or nothing. If something fails to garner her interest, then it may as well not exist for her; if does, however, then she's prepared to go above and beyond the norm.

Somewhat predictably, she's often at odds with other magical girls, as unlike the majority of them, her sense of right and wrong is somewhat skewed - though not nonexistent. Blatant acts of injustice and evil will hardly get a pass from her, but beyond irredeemable crimes, she will tend to ignore them in favor of her own pursuits.

In terms of relationships, Yuri is hardly what one would call a good friend, but neither is she someone that one would regret having at their side. It is simply that meeting the requirements for her to consider someone her friend sets the bar high enough, sustaining those requirements would be considerably more difficult to those unprepared. To those that she does consider friends though, she is ready to assist no matter what the trouble is, even if her assistance might not always be the most comfortable thing to have.

All-in-all, the Golden Flower is the flower that blooms freely, unhindered by weather or war.

Skills:

  • Even before her time as a magical girl, Yuri was a beast in a melee. She's not formally trained in martial arts, but her instincts combined with a lifetime of picking fights have led her to develop her own informal fighting style.
  • She's also a surprisingly good cook - out of necessity more than anything. Following a self-imposed diet is easier when you're the one doing the cooking, and if one has to cook, they may as well make it taste good.
  • She's also smarter than many give her credit for. More street smart than book smart, but she's no slouch in either department.

Abilities:
- As Golden Flower she's acquired physical abilities that are a notch above that of the normal enhancements of magical girls, having strength, durability and speed such that it could be classified as a power in and of itself.

- Asides from her physical capabilities, she can wreathe a golden flame across her body that fans of hers have given the moniker "Golden Empress Aura". In simple terms, it completely nullifies any attempts to bind or move her. She cannot be pushed, pulled, tied or constricted, etc; however, it does not work as a physical barrier for damage of any kind, so in some cases it may actually work to her detriment - attacks that her body might have instinctively dodged, or otherwise mitigated slightly, will instead take the full brunt of it. So while she may not be pushed by an incoming flying car, she sure as heck is going to feel it.

Weapon(s):
Her only weapon, which is a single cabinet-sized, pile-bunker-esque gauntlet that can be used to briefly enhance a single punch to reach levels above her already abnormal strength before being discarded for twenty-four hours, or otherwise as just a really big metal fist to hit things with. More often than not just used as a trump card and rarely taken out for regular use. She's given it the name "Mountain Breaker".

Using it as a trump card tires her immensely, leaving her extremely vunerable for a period of time.

Brief History:
The daughter of a construction worker and a school teacher, it is unknown just where exactly her frankly tyrannical mentality came from. If one asked her, and if she felt like answering, then she would say that she could trace it back to the day she was kidnapped.

It was an incident her parents never knew about, a crime that was resolved before it could even become a crime. The details of what happened are known only to her, and she's never openly discussed what transpired, but whatever happened changed her way of viewing life.

Since then, she'd developed a habit of starting fights. When she lost for the first time, she quickly developed a secondary habit of winning fights. Eventually, her infamy spread, to the point where even most delinquents avoided her out of fear; those that didn't, quickly fell in line with the rest.

She met Frudie when the latter was being chased by a Negari. The poor fairy contracted the first person she met who had the potential. It could have been anyone, really. This time, it just so happened to be Yuri, who was on her way from a back-alley brawl.

According to the terrified Fairy, Yuri entered such a battle frenzy that for a moment it was hard to distinguish between the Negari and her.

It's been three months since then, and she's slowly been fitting into her role as a magical girl, as well as learning about the responsibilities that come with it, much to her chagrin.

Theme song:

Fairy Name:
Frudie (Froo-dee-eh)

Fairy Appearance:
A constantly depressed looking fairy, with long blue hair, lavender-colored eyes, who is usually dressed in a long white and elegant gown and elbow length white gloves, and a short blue cape.

Fairy Personality:
Before meeting Yuri, she was bumbling and somewhat overenthusiastic fairy, especially in terms of finding a partner to contract; she had a rather low self-esteem as well, not being one of the more 'talented' fairies, nor did she consider herself exceptionally attractive. After contracting with Yuri, however, due her constantly having to deal with her contractors . . . 'independent' attitude has sapped her of energy and instilled within her a habit of lamenting her ill-fortune. Still, she is loyal to Yuri and despite what she says outwardly, is in fact more than satisfied with and very proud of her partner.

@Raineh Daze well now it looks like I've got too much PMMM on my head :v I'll edit it then place it on the CS tab?
@VitaVitaAR thoughts on yuri?
Made some minor edits with the wording of her abilities to make her sound less OP, as well as modified her history to make her more a novice.

Charlotte Carrolle Lutwidge

Lutwidge Manor

With a huff, Charlotte nodded and shook his hand. Her grip was light, as expected, and her pale white skin felt all the smoother under his comparatively rougher one.

"Transport is a non-issue, I assure you."

If it came to mobility, she had many choices to pick from. It was a heavy investment, but one she was found was well worth it. That being said, the vehicle she had in mind would be seeing use for the first time today.

She stepped outside of the room, turning to Techster. "A moment if you please, as I get my gear ready."

Aida bowed and followed suite. The two of them returned to their respective rooms, where they kept weapons at the ready. In particular, White Knight was already aware of the situation, and was waiting on Charlotte. Before the talkative suit of armor could even begin to open his blabbering mouth(?), Charlotte held a hand up, making him keenly aware that right now, time was of the essence.

It took a few minutes before they were ready, and when they returned, they returned ready for war. Aida was dressed in a black tank-top and cargo pants, her tied into a bun. She had her main and side-arm at the ready, as well as three decently sharp knives sheathed beside her left leg, right thigh, and over her chest. The ease with which she was handling the weapons implied that she'd had some time to practice them. She also had a telescope holsted behind the small of her back. Aida looked more like a professional soldier than a maid at a mansion.

Charlotte, in contrast to her maid's more subdued looks, was currently armored by White Knight. The armor piece had shrunk to a size that could fit her, making it look almost comical, where it not for the fact that she was currently holding a gun in her hand, with a sheathed sword's hilt gripped in the other. Her face was completely obscured by her helmet, as always.

"Aida's driving. We can plan our move on the way there. I've already sent someone to scout ahead for information."

As she was speaking, Chesire sprinted as fast as he could to where he was instructed to go. He would get there significantly earlier than they would, and would be useful as a scout for the moment.

Meanwhile, Aida led the two of them to the garage - a huge space behind the back of the house, filled with tools, more maps, and a large assortment of vehicles to choose from. The mannequin approached a thick looking van - sturdy enough that it looked like it could take hits, but normal enough looking not to be questioned by people on the freeway.

"We'll be taking this. No objections?" she asked, although it was apparent that she'd prefer if there were none. They didn't have anymore time to waste on further dalliances.

@Old Amsterdam
@Raineh Daze I didn't consider her as being that strong. I didn't even imply such either - although admittedly I did use fall to using prose to describe her strength. I just wanted to highlight the fact that her body is pretty much her main power, so it gives her the same edge as other magical girls + their abilities, so she would be more or less their equal even without more versatile powers.
