@Theorist
Ah. Thanks.

Another thing: If I choose Chirurgy as the starting talent, does Heal take up one of the three spells given to lvl 1 mages?

No problem. ^^
Man, I wish the book explained that better. "Heal" in this case refers to the Major Action, Heal. If you have a Healer's Kit, you can approach an ally and make a Cunning (Healing) check. This represents you performing first aid on them, getting out your bandages and binding their wounds and stuff. If you succeed the check, you heal them for an amount equal to your Dragon Die result. As you get ranks in the Chirurgy talent, you get the ability to heal more. The next rank, for example, gives you the ability to heal an amount equal to your Dragon Die times 2.

Do note that my character is Soviet. Just thought I'd let you know, I'm fine with you also having a Russian character.

Oh, that's pretty cool having our characters be from the same place. Common ground and all that. Had to look to make sure there weren't too many similarities in my character, but I feel they're pretty different in every other way. ^^
@TheoristI'm a bit confused on the Focuses and it's Human background benefits.

We have to choose between the Cunning or Willpower focuses, but they're included in the benefits for humans?

You actually have to choose between those benefits. You get three advancements; a language or focus costs 1 advancement, but an ability increase costs 2. So yeah, you don't get all of them. xD
Real Name:
Dmitri Perklov

Alias:
Red Hawk (official), The Great Patriot (common nickname)

Speech Color: #ff001a

Character Alignment: Hero

Identity:
Known only to the scientists who gave him his powers and high government officials.

Character Personality: Dmitri, while a headstrong man, is mostly a fun-loving, kind individual. He has accepted that he will likely die an early death in war (maybe even this one), so he has resolved to pack as much fun and pleasure into his life as possible. Love is his favorite emotion and one he likes to indulge in frequently. Make no mistake, though, he takes his duty to his country very seriously. Regardless of his personal feelings on the matter, he will complete his mission with an unflinching hand. Though he might need a drink afterwards. Communism isn't something he feels very strongly about, but he doesn't oppose the system and notes that it is better than most other forms of governing on the planet. On the subject of religion, he doesn't nail down a label, but his beliefs fit mostly with Agnostic Deism. He believes that there might be a god, but he doesn't believe in any god in particular and he certainly does not believe in a personal god.

Character Age/Birthday: October 21st, 1917 (24)

Uniform: Dmitri's uniform consists of a black leather military blazer trimmed in red with one big, red star on the right shoulder. On the left breast is the hammer and sickle insignia of the Soviet Union. He also wears a pair of black military pants with a big red star on the left leg and a black leather belt.

Origin: Dmitri Perklov was born into a poor family of farmers during the tail end of the first World War. Losing both of his parents to illness early on in his life, he was sent to an orphanage in Moscow. He was very unhappy there as he was often teased by the other children for his outgoing personality that bordered on the weird. However, in his late teenage years, he found a way to escape this hell; the military. As soon as he was able, he packed his bags and began his career as a soldier. He excelled in his training, so much in fact that he was recommended for the Soviet Union's top secret Super Soldier program. Beating out 150 other candidates, he received a highly experimental chemical treatment that drastically improved his human capabilities. He was touted by the Soviet Union as "the soldier of the future." He enjoyed celebrity status from the many propaganda films he took part in, but none of that really mattered to him. All that mattered was that he finally had a purpose.

Hero Type:
Other:

Weaknesses: Drinking, gambling, claustrophobia

Supporting Characters:
-Isabella, a girlfriend who currently resides in Moscow after relocating from Stalingrad to escape the fighting. It was there were she met Dmitri.

-Kazimir, a brother who resides in Berlin after being captured and experimented on in order to become a Super Soldier for the Nazis.

Do you know how to post pictures on RPG boards?: Yup

Sample Post:
Dmitri looked down on the German soldiers in the streets of Stalingrad. This was the home of his dear Isabella, and he was sorry to see it in such a war torn state. His mission was to loosen the Nazis' grip on the city by taking out one of their commanders, one Erich von Manstein. He had never seen the man in person before, just a blurry black and white photograph, which he now had next to his prone body in the bell tower. Once held by the Nazis, Dmitri managed to dispatch the two guards they had stationed here with ease, and even relieved one of them of their Mauser Kar 98 rifle that was fitted with a lovely scope. Dmitri could certainly take the target out in melee if he got the jump on the station, but simply shooting him from afar seemed the most practical course of action. Joining him was a lookout by the name of Ivan. "I see the target." Dmitri said, focusing on Commander Manstein with his scope.

"Wonderful. Just shoot the Nazi bastard so we can go home." Dmitri kept the aim on the Commander. He was speaking to a German soldier. Judging by their uniform, they were likely lower in rank. He wanted to avoid killing the guy if at all possible. He likely had a family he wanted to return home to as well. Maybe even a girlfriend or wife. Besides, this lowly German soldier wasn't his target. He wanted to try to minimize casualties outside of the Commander, so he spent a little bit of extra time planning an escape route.

"Patience, comrade. Patience. If I do a job, I do it correctly. If I make a mistake, it could cost you your life." Ivan rolled his eyes at this assertion.

"Really now? Cost me my life? And how are you not included in that?" Ivan knew what Dmitri's response would be, but he just decided to let the guy indulge in his ego for a bit. He was the Great Patriot after all. It wasn't like he didn't have a reason not to have a big ego. In truth, Dmitri knew that Ivan knew the answer as well.

"I'd think it pretty obvious." Dmitri turned his attention away from the scope to wink at Ivan. When he got his escape route figured out, he peered through the scope again and took aim at the Commander. "Hail Mother Russia." He whispered. Then, he squeezed the trigger.
Give me a while, I must make my CS.
Also, I hope whatever I make will be good enough.

EDIT: Since I showed up a bit late, I don't mind if you start without me...unless that's not allowed, of course.

Take your time man. ^^ I've decided on Friday as our start time, but if we're only missing sheets from a couple people by that time, I could see if the others wouldn't mind waiting a bit.
I keep coming up with ideas and none quite click. Hopefully one will soon.

That was my problem at first. But I had some time to think and i'm going with a sort of Soviet version of Captain America.
I meant to have my character up by now, but I lost my internet Sunday. I'll try to have it up before today's end.
Oster growled as a pitchfork was shoved in his face. But still, he did not make a movement. This close, he was at a disadvantage. Doubtless, he could take them on, but he was here to save this place. Not paint it in blood. He stifled a sigh of relief when the weapons of the guards were lowered. (If they could even be called weapons and if these people could even be called guards) When questioned, Oster spoke his intentions. "I am Oster Trevayne. I have come to liberate this land from the darkness that has taken hold. I hunt Vampires as a trade, though all creatures who make a mockery of the precious gift of life fear my arrow. You have nothing to fear from me unless you oppose law and order."

While Oster chatted up the guards, he looked around for any reinforcements waiting in the wings. He didn't expect things to come to combat, but it was good to be prepared. Then again, Bryn walking past the men might incite something. While he did admit, a drink sounded good, dealing with armed men threatening them seemed the more pressing issue.

Awesome! So, I think we're good with six people, so unless anyone drops out, I think we're full for now.
Sorry for being gone so long. My internet went out on Sunday and I just got it back less than ten minutes ago. xD I'll get a post up forthwith!
