I know I'm a little late to the "What powers should entities have" discussion, but I had a thought. Since players species are currently overlapping some anyway, what if entities were able to control the movement of their species? That way those who wish to increase contact between players would be able to with more reason then "they just kind of bumped in to each other". The way I'm thinking of it is that it would be less of a power and more of a role-play facilitator. Also, it seems like some people are moving them anyway.

So yeah, just a thought.
Khelek Istar - Warlock

Khelek woke up from where he had been lying, unconscious, on the floor. He had just finished adding another large room to his ice palace and such an extreme use of his cryokinesis always left him exhausted if not unconscious. Now, refreshed, he went to examine the new addition. Like the rest of his home, the room was made entirely from ice, though not the ice that most would imagine. Khelek's abilities allowed him to create ice that was more durable that normal, strong enough to make weapons or even walls, floors or ceilings. Khelek had built his home one room at a time over the past few years, adding a room anytime it suited him. This particular room was to a target range, or at least it would be once he was done. Khelek reached out his hand and ice flurried through the air, forming a sculpture of a heavily armored knight a few yards away. The process was repeated two more times until Khelek faced three icy opponents. Khelek's hand whipped through the air yet again, this time a large shard of ice formed in between him and the first of the warriors. As Khelek pushed his hand forward, the shard flew towards the knight and struck it center in the chest, breaking it into a thousand shining splinters. As the remains of the first sculpture fell to the ground Khelek dashed towards the second, raising his hand as if about to strike with an invisible weapon. As his arm came down an icy sword materialized from his hand, striking the knight in the forehead and causing it to crack down the middle and then collapse to the floor. Dropping the sword to the ground, he turned upon the final target, his hand still outstretched and palm up. He quickly raised his hand and a large spike of ice formed from the floor directly below the remaining knight, shattering its legs apart and knocking it to the ground. Deciding that that was enough for now, Khelek waved his hand, causing the scattered pieces of ice, including the sword, to vanish in a puff of snow. He was just going to go and find something else to do when he felt it. It felt like someone was tugging on his soul, bidding it down the mountain. The summons had no words, not really anyway. And yet he felt that if it did it would say: "Come brothers and sisters, the Shade has need of you". Khelek immediately started walking towards his equipment room, "Finally a chance to put my powers to use" he said to himself.

After filling a satchel with provisions and other supplies, Khelek headed out the door, only turning around to seal the doors of his palace in a layer of ice. Khelek then strode towards the nearby cliff edge. Looking down, it was possible to barely make out the abode of the Shade: the castle of the High Witch Vitralese. The summons seemed to be coming from in or nearby the castle. Khelek moved back from the cliff before making a running leap over the edge. For less than a second it seemed he was floating in the air and then he began to plummet towards the ground far below. As Khelek fell, the ground coming closer and closer, he thought briefly about how much he enjoyed having his powers. Then, with a messy death only seconds away, he transformed into snow and floated the remaining distance to the ground, forming a small pile of snow. The snow rose into the air as Khelek's body reformed. Looking around him he saw the Shade's castle, as well as a small camp further down the mountain. Feeling that the summons came from the later he conjured an icy walking staff and headed in that direction.
The Parasite viewed the planet it was on with extreme curiosity. It had no idea how it had gotten there, or even how it had came to exist. The only thing it knew was that it had a purpose, a goal, an objective: to create a creature that could siphon the life from any it came in contact with. Not fighting or foraging for a living, but instead stealing from those who did. However, looking around, it realized that there was nothing large enough to have much life to siphon. With some disappointment it decided instead to develop a nearby group of amoebas into a colony, one able to share nutrients. Taking nutrients and, for now, giving them.

I have a couple questions:
1. If I want my character to hear the call of the spirit witches or warlocks, do I need to wait for another character to do it or is it just something that's been done by an NPC?
2. I told a couple friends about this RP and they want to join, is it still open for new players?
It looks like experiment #9546 is the only one left.
Name: Dante Lorenzetti (His last name is not known to any of his associates in the crime world and he more commonly goes by the alias 'Reaper'.

Age: 37

Appearance:

Family: N/A

Relation to Godfather: N/A

Role in family: N/A

Bio:
Dante is considered to be the best assassin in New York. He has performed dozens of high priority hits for all four families and against all four families. None of the families would ever dare to touch him though; first, because they know there will alway come a day when they need him; and second, because they don't want to anger the most skilled hit man in the city. He keeps an extremely low profile and charges a very high fee, resulting in him being hired very rarely.

No one knows where the Reaper lives or how to contact him directly. If any of the families have a job for him they hang a black sheet off the edge of the roof of the Godfather's house and the Reaper gets in contact with them.

Personality:
Dante is very reserved and doesn't say much. He is a cold hearted killer and won't hesitate to kill anyone for any reason. That said, he does not particularily enjoy killing and won't kill someone without a reason.

Relationship?: None.
There is nothing left for supper if they rot to nothing. My Warlock will make a human sized version of one of those egg slicer things, made entirely out of ice of course.

Name: Khelek Istar

Nickname, if applicable: Blizzard

Age: 47

Appearance:

Background:
Khelek Istar was born in a village on the frozen peak of the Great Mountain, where some of the first Witches and Warlocks reside. He never new his mother because of the village's tradition of forcing the children to fend for themselves at an extremely young age. Kkelek was fortunate enough to develop an affinity to the very element that killed many of the other children: ice. Before he had come of age, Khelek had used his powers to construct a home made entirely of ice. Instead of rejoining the village, he decided to remain in his icy abode. Though far from being a hermit, Khelek mostly kept to himself, causing him to be introverted and a bit of a lone wolf. Khelek fights almost entirely with weapons and projectiles made of ice.Though these weapons tend to brake after a few hits, they can be replaced with little effort.

Now that Khelek has sharpened his powers at the mountain, he wishes to use his abilities against any foolish hunters who would dare stand against the Shade's rule of this weak human world. Despite his loner nature, Khelek is willing to join with others to accomplish this task, as long as they don't slow him down.

Magical Element: Water/Ice

Magical Ability:
Cryokinesis: The ability to conjure and shape ice with his mind. Ice created with this ability is more durable than normal ice, but still not as strong as metal or stone. This ability can be used to create anything from a dagger to a house, taking more effort for larger objects. Creating a moderately sized structure would cause him to fall unconscious.
Cryophilia: Is completely immune to even the coldest temperatures. In fact, the colder the temperature, the easier it is for him to cast magic.
Cryoform: Temporarily transforms into ice or snow, allowing him to be blown by the wind or to be completely invisible in a snow drift or ice pillar. While transformed, he can not move of his own volition. If part of him is separated, it will be drawn to whatever location has the most of him upon returning to human form.

Weakness: PMed.

Additional Info: Khelek wears a set of ice plate-armor that he crafted himself. This armor is used both for protection and keeping his temperature cool.
