Suggesting a rework to the trainer stats:

20 base points to allocate
plus 5 every 5 years past 10(the age someone can become a trainer) to account for experience, because a 30 year old is going to be more experienced than my 14 year old character, and this would reflect it, without being too op and making younger characters obsolete. ^.^

The journey is over for many, but maybe not the adventure. You’re no longer a young trainer looking to be a Master trainer. You’ve already achieved that success in some way or another. You’re no longer struggling to be crowned Champion. You’ve achieved so much and the next generation looks up to you. To become the next Master trainer.

There’s nothing left for you to do, but test the next generation. To help them rise, grow, become stronger than you. Or is there?

One night, as you were sleeping peaceful in the region you reside, a storm brew all over the Pokeverse. The sky turned purple, with violent thunder and lighting that shook the very earth you stood on. When the lighting struck the ground it turned it black and began to form strange crystals.

Now all the Pokemon regions are turning black, and experiences more and more frequent violent storms. These storms make Pokemon violent, and the more wild Pokemon are near these shiny crystals they turn black. Wild Pokemon are becoming corrupted, and the balance of Pokeworld is threatened by this darkness that seems to have no origin.

People are starting to call it Shin'en Ken Shō [Abyssal Energy] and someone needs to put a stop to this madness. That person being you. Just because the journey has ended, doesn’t mean the adventure stops.

The RP

Five to six trainers with experience have been called to stop the Abyssal Energy from spreading further. The energy has already taken up a number of regions and turning Pokemon black. These experienced trainers job is to reclaim the regions with each other and their Pokemon at their side, by purifying each region.

By fighting Chroma, new Pokemon that appear out of purple crystals that are growing in the regions, these Chroma allow you to destroy the heart of abyssal energy in each region. The secondary goal is to figure out why this happening, and stop it for good.

You will fight like the anime, telling your Pokemon to dodge, and you the trainer may have to fight yourself at times fending off foes while your Pokemon battles with others.

Will you be able to stop the Abyssal Energy and survive all of Pokeverse? Play and find out.

Roles

Roles act as the slots of characters for this RP. But they will also give you additional bonuses based on the type of trainer you want to play.

Role 1 - Prodigy - Skill: Increase the strength of your bond with your Pokemon. And allows to fight with your support Pokemon at half the strength of your Partner Pokemon. @Neo is Delight

Role 2 - Support - Skill: Increases the duration and strength of all support effects, such as reflect, protect morning sun, removal of status effects. @TheRedWatcher

Role 3 - Combat - Skill: Increases the strength of physical attacks like low kick, mach punch, bite, and any skill that has an accuracy of 50% is increased to 80% @Pathfinder

Role 4 - Technician - Skill: All electric moves are at 100% accuracy, also has greater usage out of machinery than other roles

Role 5 - Legendary - Skill: Have a greater chance of bonding with more Pokemon at once than other trainers. Support Pokemon have the power of your Partner Pokemon. @AngelofOctober

Role 6 - Luck - Skill: You and your Pokemon have an unnaturally Lucky streak more so than any other role. Increases the effectiveness of special attacks. @Nerdy Reference

Pokemon Rules and How this Works

While this will seem limiting, you will have a team of 3 Pokemon.

1 Pokemon is known as your Partner. Your Partner is above average in power and strength of normal Pokemon because of your tight bond with this Partner Pokemon. Your Partner Pokemon gets an extra point in its stats because of this bond.

The 2 other Pokemon are your backup Pokemon. Also known as Support. They can be used in place of your Partner or in battle as a Supportive role while fighting alongside your Partner Pokemon.

You will not be restricted on Evolution, however, and I will allow you to chose Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon. But I will cut it off if too many people have Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon. Edit- No Ultra Beast either.

Your Roles do not take away your trainer class, they add to them. And you will be given a special ability based on your class as well.

I will be only allowing 1 Champion from any Region. Otherwise you can be anything you want and do whatever you want in this RP.

Pokemon Stats will be distributed as such, 1 Pokemon gets 100 points to put in their skills, another Pokemon 80, and another Pokemon 60. This will be up to play discretion. A Pokemon should have balanced abilities and will not be accepted if you place all 100 points into say Speed for example. I am not going to put a hard rule on how many points to spend in a given stat, but expect you to have common sense.

Your Trainers will be given 20 points to put into their Skills. Again I will not place a hard cap on how many points you can spend in your given stats, just don’t put all your stats into one category.

Trainer Stats:
A trainer stats define them as a trainer. It defines how they train their Pokemon and how effective that training is with their Pokemon. A Trainer Stats are not their individual skills rather they are the skills that are combined best with their Pokemon.

Bond - A Trainer with a higher Bonding Stat with their Pokemon can communicate effectively to their Pokemon without a word. It also means that your Pokemon will be more in tune when you are in danger and may take damage for you.

Technique - Is how effectively you use abilities. As in utilizing the right weaknesses and the right type of moves against the right type of opponent. And not over using certain abilities to the point of exhaustion.

Style - Is how effectively you combine moves together for more effective damage. If you are a coordinator class then this is the skill that you would use to make combined moves more appealing.

Offense - Is how effective or how focused you are on using your Pokemon offensively in a manner that doesn’t waste a Pokemon’s energy. It’s also how effective you use physical attacks Pokemon know and learn.

Defense - Is the opposite of Offense. It’s how Effectively you protect your Pokemon from being wounded and hurt. How well you dodge and predict moves. It’s also how effective non damaging moves are when your Pokemon utilizes them.

Communication- This is how effective you are at reading other Pokemon and being able to communicate this appropriately to your Pokemon.

Special - While Offense is how effective you are using your Pokemon in a offensive matter, special deals with how effective you are using special abilities like thunderbolt and flamethrower and how effective these abilities will be when you utilize them.

Unique - Do Not Fill this Out if your trainer class is not a Psychic or Medium or anything otherwise specified by the GM. This skill encompasses the supernatural. The uncanny abilities that some unique trainers hold.

Skills: [what are some Non Trainer skills your Trainer possess, things like camping, cooking, dancing, singing, etc.]

Equipment: [this includes weaponry. Since I will be having some machinery in this game a little beyond what we have seen in at least the first few generations, more closely to modern Pokemon now. You can have interesting tech, but again common sense, do not go too outside and turn this into a science fiction show. You may also have Guns, they have been shown several times in the anime, swords, etc.]

Alright ladies and gentleman we’re going to be doing something a little different with the Bios in this RP. Your RP will require, a Theme Song and you will be making yourself basically a Promotion. The idea is based off of when you made videos in Pokemon X and Y. You will add your favorite quote, say something about each of your Pokemon. And self Promote your best aspects, your favorite accomplishments, who you are, etc. Have fun with this.

She felt the heat of her cheeks when Katashi corrected her on her mistake. He was honestly like a little angel, a snow white prince, with pale skin. His eyes were so blue they were almost like a frozen over lake. It inspired a creative side of her that hadn’t been sparked in a while. He was like a little doll or angel. Then she heard Alice talking and the boy asking where to change.

She frantically flailed her arms around. Her heart racing out of sheer nervous embarrassment.

“You don’t have to put on the dress,” she said, “I’ll find...find..find you something more normal. Wait do we have any boy clothes around….aaaa…”

She began to frantically look around the room. Staring at each of the individuals in the room she had made a terrible mistake in error right now. She was trying to correct it.

Kristian watched her reaction. Why did she smell so sweet? Humans don’t normally smell like that. And why was she panicking? He was in no mood really to be playing these games.

“It’s….what you have on hand,” he mumbled just as embarrassed.

Mika turned to him.

“Only if you want to,” Mika said grabbing his two hands and staring at him with intent, her eyes were twinkling with the look of a sad puppy dog.

He didn’t want to. But he looked at the floor. This was some test from the other Ghouls, wasn’t it? Why was the leader so nonchalant about this? It was his body. His choice to do what he wanted with it. Not anyone else’s. It was. He took it back.

“Just….show me where to go,” he said.

“I’ll take you to the bathroom,” Mika told him. She guided him gently towards the hallway and behind the stairs. While he followed dragging his feet doing so. Pointing to a door, “There you go if you need help, I’ll zip you up in the back. Okay.” She smiled.

Kristian just nodded his head and walked into the bathroom. There he was left with a choice. To lose even more dignity, after already losing the dignity he had already lost this morning or to escape. Live on his own like he had been doing.

But what if he was found? What if they tried to take him? Did he stay here? Could these ghouls protect him? They didn’t seem like they could. He didn’t know if he should trust them or not. Staring in the mirror as he began to derobe.

Was he really going to go through with this? Slipping into the dress, it seemed he was. Placing it on, the individual in the mirror staring at him didn’t resemble anything he really recognized. The dress made him feel like a doll or a toy. Not a person.

He was a person. Wasn’t he?

Walking out of the bathroom he looked at the girl. Who was humming a song in the hallway. She looked at him and her eyes lit up in a way he couldn’t even express.

She looked at Kristian, he was dazzling. More beautiful in the dress she could ever imagine. She squealed and had him turn around. She zipped up the dress and had him turn forward again.

“You’re like a little prince princess,” Mika called out, “I am Sasaki Mika. It’s nice to meet you Kristian.”

“I feel awkward,” Kristian told her, trying to hold down the skirt of the dress. He didn’t really like this one bit. But she seemed to be enjoying it. Her embarrassment from before all, but seemed to have faded away.

It didn’t matter to her as she dragged him along the hallway to present him to the group, untying his hair tie and letting his white hair fall to his shoulder. Kristian felt even more embarrassed now. This was not something he expected he would have had done today.

Mika just wanted him to have fun with it. He seemed sad or like there was a lot of trauma he was dealing with. If everyone else was having fun with it, maybe he too would have fun with it.

Natsuya

He had been watching from the shadows and only decided to make his presence known now. He unfolded his fan and fanned himself for a second. While the charge he was asked to take care of stared at him as he appeared before her very eyes, their very eyes in the Birdcage.

“Natsu-san,” Sasaki-san said, “How did you get in here everything was locked up?”

He stared off a little and covered part of his face with his fan, “Ancient secrets I could not tell you about Sasaki-san. Or else a great curse will be placed upon you.”

“EEEHHHH!”

Natsuya glanced at the rest in the Birdcage. Just the usual suspect. There was Katashi the man had an abhorrent amount of red suits that made him look like a gangster. There was a new girl, her name also started with a K funny enough, Travis looking like a wounded animal, and a new fellow girl in a sailor’s dress. She looked mighty uncomfortable in her outfit though.

Then there was Alice. She was like a key that unlocked the secrets of this modern world. Things he may have never known or understood without her. She made him like this modern world, without her he probably would see everyone in this city as a blight.
