I am indeed allowing players to choose to play one of the ten Makaioshin, Bloodlust and Avarice have been taken. In DBZ, the Makaioshin is ominously referred to as the Makaio Dabura's master, a sort of Demon God(with him being the Demon King). So, rather than the Makaioshin being a singular being, it is instead more of a structure-less council of Demon Gods(I took the number and basis for each from the Ten Evils of Buddhism). The Makaio, for the most part, chose to stay in the Demon Realm, while the Makaioshin decided to go out and play amongst the Mortal Realm.

I planned on assigning levels of mysticism based on the history and character sheet, like if a character has trained many years in a single school then Master is not out of the question. I did not plan on allowing Genius-level, only because it is often referred to as the level where Magic Materialization can create Dragon Balls, hence why I separated it from the rest. Still, if the character is designed well enough, I might consider it. (Basically, I can be won over on nearly anything, if something is truly written well and I believe the player won't abuse it.)

Well, I have no issue with things being stolen, though energy capsules are going to be hard to steal as Capsule Corp tends to keep them under lock and key. Once emptied, the capsules could be refilled with another technique. Also, yea I would prefer to keep the Holograv as something characters encounter in game, rather than starting with. Still, like I said, if it something is written well enough, I may give it the okay.

My characters.

Put the game thread up, but now I really need sleep. I will add some more tomorrow.

roleplayerguild.com/topics/86244-drago..
This game acknowledges Dragonball, Dragonball Z and the movies associated with those two series. It refers to Frieza's Race as Arcosians and their home planet as Arcose. None of the games nor Dragonball GT are considered canon here. Much of the old is forgotten by the time this game takes place, such as dragonballs, Dende's Lookout, Korin's Lookout, Kame House, etc.

Last time on Dragonball: Final Hour...

Enter the Character Sheet!

A list of races, feel free to try and put forth your own or request a different one, just remember that pretty much everything aside from Earth is under the Arcosian Empire.

The homeworlds.

A list of guidelines for techniques and some examples.

A list of guidelines for those interested in the mystical arts.

A list of items, their descriptions and general/average prices, to be used as a guideline.

I saved this for last, the transformations!

My interest is peaked. However, how do you plan to handle humans?

They always seem to get the short end of the stick in DBZ lore.

I'd like to play one, but not become irrelivant like Krillin or Tien.

Well, a human training to be a warrior rather than just lazing about or playing scientist would be fairly rare in this game, enough so that none appeared within the war between the races. Still it is a good question, Humans in the Dragonball universe have always lacked fighting prowess in the grand scheme of things but made up for it with their brains. We could explore various ways they could continue to use science to improve the few existing human fighters.

Yes, it is and would gladly welcome you aboard. I am busier now then when I first put the idea up, but I still want to start this game as soon as possible. I will be creating the game thread in a day or two and would appreciate anyone interested sending me a character sheet.
Racial Abilities

Oozaru – This ability is unique to Saiyans that have kept their tail. It allows them to transform on a full moon into a giant ape, which multiplies their power by ten. Most Saiyans have their tail cut off at a young age because the transformation is so hard to control. Those that retain their tail have spent years training to control the great ape form and often learn the Power Ball technique.

Zenkai – When a Saiyan is brought to near death from a battle, their power greatly increases in an effort to stop the Saiyan from reaching that state again. Once recovered the Saiyan finds that their power has increased by a full ten percent.

Energy Reading – Nearly every android can inherently read the power levels of those around them, much like having a built in Scouter.

Self Destruct – Most androids are unaware of this feature that is built into every Royal Robotics model. It allows the android to unleash all of their energy at once, causing a massive explosion that very few could survive.

Regenerate – All Namekians have the ability to regenerate as long as their heads are still intact. Majins also have this ability but do not require a head, only a significant portion of themselves. This ability requires a great deal of concentration, and the required time to complete it is dependent on how much of the body has been destroyed. Due to such restrictions, this ability is very difficult to use in the midst of battle.

Limb Extension – Namekians have the ability to extend their limbs long distances, well over a hundred feet. This allows them to grab enemies at a distance or attack in ways their opponents may not see coming.

Negative Manipulation – This ability allows a Makaioshin to enhance the darkness already inside a mortal's heart. It starts as a whisper in the mind of the target, telling them to act upon their evil desires. The whisper quickly grows to a deafening scream that gets stronger the closer the Makaioshin is to their target. To some degree, this ability is always active, which can make it hard for the Makaioshin to interact with others.

Unique Ability – Each Makaioshin carries a unique ability, which is determined by their inherent source of evil. The same as our seven sins, these traits describe not only the ability of the Makaioshin but also its personality and goals.

Transformation – When an Arcosian is born, they are leaps and bounds stronger than the rest of the universe. Their very power would make nearly everyone so terrified that they cannot think. In an effort to circumvent this, the Arcosians have the ability to hide their true power in various forms. Most Arcosians have three forms, a smaller one used for delegation purposes, a larger one for combat purposes and then a true form that unleashes their full power.

Stasis – The Arcosians are a strong race that have survived much, including the rampage of Majin Buu, millions of years ago. The ability to put themselves into a protective coma is what has kept their species alive through many cataclysmic events. While in this stasis, their body effectively shuts down to the point that they would be considered clinically dead. Due to this, they need no oxygen, no food nor water and can survive in this state for all eternity if need be.

Body Manipulation – The Majins have the ability to manipulate their bodies. What each Majin can do seems to differ, but some have been seen to stretch their limbs like Namekians. Others can inflate themselves to make enlarge their body. Some seem to be able to turn themselves into a liquid state. A few have demonstrated the ability to control parts of themselves that have been detached. Each Majin can only have one of these abilities.

Basic Techniques

Techniques come in one of four types; Physical, Ki, Combination and Mystical. Physical techniques are your normal every day punches, kicks, grapples and other moves that one could do in real life. Ki techniques use some of the user's life force to project or throw an attack made of energy, the most basic of these is the Ki Blast. Combination techniques combine both the physical and Ki together to create powerful attacks. The final, the Mystical is the magical arts of the Dragonball universe and uses the energy outside the body in many powerful but dangerous ways.

A fighter may know an unlimited number of physical techniques and needs know way to keep track of them. Ki techniques however must be learned or created and usually require a vast amount of time to do so, they come in four levels.

Level 1 Ki Techniques

All fighters are capable of using Level 1 Ki Techniques. These are the very basics. Some examples are:

Ki Blast - The most basic of Ki techniques, the user channels their Ki into a ball and fires it or throws it at their enemy. The most famous Ki Blast is the Spirit Bomb.

Ki Wave - The next most basic technique, the user does not create a ball but unleashes a continuous stream of Ki energy at their opponent. The most famous Ki Wave is the Kamehameha

Ki Aura - Most often seen and used when a fighter powers up, concentrating the Ki inside their body. An aura can be used to attack or defend, as is the case with Ki Barriers.

Level 2 Ki Techniques

Level 2 Ki techniques are those that require no time to charge and very little concentration to pull off. Examples include:

Solar Flare - Placing their hands in front of their face, with their fingers open and just outside their eyes, the user yells out the name of the attack and unleashes flash of Ki that blinds the user.

Ki Barrier - By solidifying their Ki Aura, a fighter can defend themselves with a barrier.

Level 3 Ki Techniques

Level 3 Ki techniques initially require time to charge, advanced hang signals, yelling the name of the attack in order to concentrate or some extreme focus. As fighters get better with these techniques though, the requirements are not always needed to be met. A few examples are:

Kamehameha - The fighter starts with their hands extending out, one point upwards and the other pointing down. Then they move the arms, lowering the one pointing upwards and raising the one pointing downwards. Then the fighter, pulls the arms into their their side, cupping their hands and concentrating their Ki into them. Once the technique is fully charged, the hands are brought forward at chest level and the attack unleashed. Typically users call out the name of this move as they use it, "Ka-me-ha-me-ha!"

Level 4 Ki Techniques

These are ridiculously powerful techniques that always require time to charge no matter what. An example:

Spirit Bomb - Sticking their arms up, with hands bent away from the body, the fighter calls out with their mind to all living things in an area and begs them to donate some of their Ki to the attack. It takes a tremendous amount of energy and time to complete. Once completed the user throws their arms down toward their opponent and the massive ball of Ki begins to move. It can be interrupted and broken. Only hurts those with evil in their hearts.

I do plan to add more to this list but wanted the basics of it up, so that you could all use it as a guideline. Fighters should only have one Ki technique at the third level, if any.
I'm sorry I haven't been able to add more just yet. I got a job this week and it has been taking up a lot of my time. I was hoping to get this game going by this weekend, but that might be a tad bit delayed. I continue adding stuff as I complete it. Anyone that would like to start filling out their character sheet should feel free, and I will look over them as soon as I can.
Quite simply, anyone who is spending their time in such shenanigans trying to cause their character to become ridiculously OP will quickly find themselves having a visit from one of the characters left in the universe strong enough to eradicate them with ease, like say Demon King Piccolo. Also, while Zenkai will provide a decent boost it will not be huge, I am thinking more like five to ten percent of the current PL, rather than thirty percent.
Here's what I am thinking for a character sheet. I am thinking a total of five abilities/techniques starting out, including racial abilities. Though starting out with a lower power level could give characters an extra technique.
