Hmmm... I've been thinking about a second (more villainous) character. Do you guys think there's any room for an anti-meta meta? Like, a meta that's been convinced that Metas are evil/unnatural/what have you, and as such uses their powers to basically run around hunting other metas in an effort to wipe them out?

Still don't have a power figured for them though.
I'm gonna do a time skip of two days tonight. Bee I'm gonna use one of your ideas. Just so you know, its about to get really dark around here.

Hopefully you don't mean literally. That... wouldn't be good for me.
Alex jerked his head slightly as he was returned to the world of the physical. He felt the girl scrambling out of his grasp and released her quickly - the danger, it seemed, had passed.

Someone was talking to him. "Mate? You there?"

The Paladin cleared his throat. "Ah, yes. Apologies, my friend, I was just having something of an... out of body experience." Considering the girl's timid reaction to the use of her powers, it would... probably be polite not to let slip what had just happened. If she wished to hide her nature, that was her right.

He looked around again. The scene certainly seemed to be wrapped up - the henchmen were dealt with, the people were safe, and the murderous meta was nowhere to be seen. It would have been better if he could have been apprehended, though in a situation like this perhaps it was simply better that nobody else had been hurt.

"It seems to me that the rest of you have handled matters very well in my absence. You should well be proud. I... suppose if you have no further need of me, I will take my leave." The knight turned and began to trudge off, his cloak dragging on the ground. At another thought, he turned again. "Take care of yourself, my lady. And thank you for the... invitation."
So. What sort of characters/settings are all yall thinking about bringing into this business?
A smile, obscured by the helmet, spread over Alex's face as he turned this way and that, marveling at the shimmering points of light all around him. "Remarkable," he breathed. "And you can see what it all means? That is... quite a power you have, my lady."

The Paladin shook his head and forced himself back to business. A new shape had appeared next to his - someone was trying to talk to him. Add to that the fact that the fight might still be going on, the civilians might still be in danger... there was really no time to admire this girl's strange, beautiful world. "Yes. Take us back."

The knight extended a hand to grasp hers gently. "On your time."
I... think this interest check may have garnered all the attention it's going to.

Might be time to post an OOC - doubtless we'll get a great few more people. I've noticed that interest checks in advanced tend to be... ignored.
@Blizz

I can see... a few problems immediately, chief among them being that you... appear to be trying to introduce your own personal story/setting/characters/whatever into an RP that has... nothing to do with it. Um.
Hmm, I have two ideas:

1.) Lucas' power can only affect objects in sensory range; an exception to this are portals, but even then, he can only travel to a place whose image he has seen.

2.) Lucas' powers cause Brain Damage to himself when overused. This is further aggravated by his 'Concentration Pills'.

Just dropping my two cents in here. I tend to be sort of wary of powers that can 'overheat' or damage the user when overused because, and let's be honest with ourselves here, you're not going to decide your character's used his powers too much and turn him into a vegetable. No, it'll just be something brought up occasionally for drama, while your character sweats and strains and gives himself nosebleeds as he wanders merrily around being... well, omnipotent. It's not just you, nobody ever makes the 'power overheat' matter in things like this. It's only ever a talking point.

But, hey, I don't work here. GMs get the final say, I just thought I'd mention that. If the GMs say that'll work, that'll work.
If we're really stretching the limits here, I have a lovecraftian science-fantasy character that I could use for this.

Let's get weird! Let's get weird!

Oh, nevermind, apparently the poster above me just made a mistake, it's not an issue!
