@Grimoire Go ahead and submit a character! :)

@rivaan Looks good to me! Feel free to place her into the character tab.

@Blackbeard Wrinkles are a sign of wisdom, so DO IT.

@Vigfast You are correct, a long medieval period dominates Ansus. The height of technology is trebuchets, ballistas, and very recently, rudimentary canons, though they are a rarity.
@Blackbeard did a pretty good job at explaining it, @Jack Travidi. Though I do see where your confusion lies.

'The Last Hero' isn't any specific character, it literally means the last legendary individual of a certain heroic period of time; let me revise my original message:

Ansus is so far divided into 2 major eras: the legendary era and the modern era. The legendary era lasted from 60,000 years ago (when Ansus was founded) and ended 1,000 years prior to the present when Ansus became unified. All our heroes come from this era. Ansus was wracked with constant battle during this time.

The modern era is the time between Ansus' unification (1,000 years ago) to the present.

The Starless has been systematically hunting Gods for at least 500 years, extinguishing one every few decades.

The Great Fire (the big, main fire -amongst many smaller ones- that represents the head of the pantheon) in the last few months has begun to dwindle. The last living God (The head of the pantheon) is killed pretty much as the RP begins.

The last God brought the heroes back as a dying act.
So to clarify for all involved in the minor confusion:

The last hero of legend was thought to have died at least 1000 years prior to the present day. All of our characters (with the exception of Sikes) therefore all existed at least 1000 years prior to the current events.

The Starless has been systematically hunting Gods for at least 500 years, extinguishing one every few decades.

The Great Fire, in the last few months, has begun to dwindle. The Last God is killed pretty much as the RP begins.

The Last God brought the heroes back as a dying act.

@ravenDivinity Hopefully tomorrow.

@Jack Travidi In your case I will allow a special exception. You can place Sikes anywhere between 1000 and 200 years ago.
@CorvidaeIndeed! It might actually be worth, between us, working out the rough periods of time in which our characters existed. We would be able to use that information to decipher who may have heard of whom and vice versa.

Actually, let's make that a thing! Everybody who is creating / has created characters, if you could add a small extra section to CS' to reflect such information, that would be great.

Use this format:

A g e o f L e g e n d

2000 years ago.

or

5000 years ago.

or... ect.

[However many years prior to the present the hero was active. Bear in mind this must be at the very least 1000 years prior to the present.]
@BlackbeardNot at all, I love your writing style. Now if everybody could stop puttng themselvs down, that'd be great!

But yeah! Your character is great, feel free to place him in the characters tab!
@VigfastIt is looking awesome! I understand that the current state is just a draft, but if you felt you wanted, I would have no qualms with you putting the Green knight in the character tab is his current state. let me know of any updates you add.
@Invisible Looking good! Feel free to place your character in the character tab when you're ready.

@CorvidaeWhat? That's a very nice mythology! Maybe your standards are impossibly high ;) But it looks good, post her up!
@rivaanAnime pictures aren't my first choice, but post what you will to help us better visualise your character.
@rivaan@Invisible Looking good, guys! let me know when you update the CS'

@Jack TravidiLooks good, if you're ready you can put him in the character tab.

Just to clarify what i read, though, is it safe to assume that Sikes was present at the dwindling of a flame in times past? As though it were a foreshadowing of what has happened in Ansus recently?
