Alrighty, we're getting close I take it? ;p I can feel it.
I'm ok with the phases. Also, did you count my vote for the geth?
I do have an idea for specialised Kimo units and/or ships. Though I need some time to write all of that down. Doesn't mean we can't already start this rp ;p since I hope I won't need my military right off the bat.
Hmm those buffs could be good if handled well. I like your idea for organised retreat in the case things go sideways. There's also another thing, the Federation army is mainly a counter insurgency force and not so much a full scale invasion force. Their job is mainly to deter organised rebellion and not so much fight battles on alien worlds (though they could if they wanted to (probably would be quite outmatched by stronger warlike aliens though.))
Even so Caliban ;p You still have a civ of your own. Though i get they're important to the plot.
Caliban, Brightops, urukhai, Jangel, Twisted sun and Trillovinum (myself) makes six of us actually.
I already have an idea on what will be happening on my planet when it starts and only outside intervention will help
Only outside intervention eh? ;p What kind of crisis are we talking about?
This is going to be very interesting. Now I really can't wait to get this show on the road though. I've already worked out a whole style in which to do my posts.
You don't need to add them in writing. Just say for example you have a military base colony or a mining colony. It gives a buff to war resources. Which would factor into a races war tolerance. ( A measurement of how willing a race is going to being to fight a war. Large measurement...ha...would be they can fight a war of attrition while a low is they would do fast major victories to end a war fast.
Ok, then I'll make a small list of important colonies and add it to my CS. Just to note, the Kimo would be more than willing to go to war with an alien race as long as they can keep the war out of the Kimo home sector. They have a sizeable industrial capacity which can create tools of war fairly easily but more importantly, a doctrine that doesn't prohibit retreat as a tactical option. (meaning that rather than risk losing high value ships and assets, the Kimo would rather retreat alltogether to regroup)
so something where your own colonies have effects or something? That could be in teresting, though that would mean alot of extra writing to describe the various planets and systems within the Federation.
