There's a reason why Aeseri is different from the typical 'peaceful' air bender, but I will reveal that in the story. Kitty, 1Charak2, and Shadowcatcher- I'm looking forward to reading your character sheets once they are completed! Just a heads up, I may go ahead and post my intro tonight.

Congrats Expllo, you're the first to be officially accepted into the thread :) lol Tysun will be interesting to play as... Both Aeseri and Tysun aren't unreasonably evil, just mainly misguided and vengeful.

Backstory
A rising underground drug lord in Republic City who stole and learned to grow a powerful and rare hallucinogenic plant from the Earth Kingdom. Tysun had a troubled child hood and his teen years were no better. His father left him when he was little and his mother would neglect him and mentally abuse him for his resemblance to his father who forgot about her. Tysun's mother told him that the only reason that he had been conceived was to keep his father around. By the time he had become a teen he ran away from home, because he was only used for chores and a secondary income. He had become a blacksmith for non benders and fell in love with a young lady with rose colored hair named Delara. Delara was a non bender who was the daughter of a earth bender mother and a non bender father. Tysun sold tools and weapons to her father and Delara's father introduced her to Tysun. She was a breath of fresh air to him, a female who gave him all of her attention and attractive kindness. A woman who was the extreme opposite of his cold, unloving mother. Tysun took a trip with Delara to visit her some of her family at the earth kingdom and he enjoyed the experience very much.... until something happened. One night Tysun and Delara retired to sleep, Delara got up from bed while Tyun was almost asleep. She stayed gone for far too long and he Tysun went to check on her. When he found her, he saw her with another earth bender performing sexual acts upon him. Tysun set them both to flames and fled far away. From that point forward he lost respect for all women and knew them to only cause hurt. An intense pain ate at his core and one night as he wandered alone through the Earth Kingdom, he fell asleep near a group of oddly shaped black plants. He awoke from a night terror that resulted in bursting flames from his fists and accidentally burning the plants. After a few minutes of doing this he started to experience wonderful illusions that he first thought to be dreams. Some of the "dreams" were of him and his mother, but the feeling of resentment he had towards her was gone and she gave him love and warm hugs that he never had before. When the fumes of the plants wore off a feeling of dread came to him and he remembered reality. The happiness the plants induced far outweighed the after affects, so he uprooted them and took him with him. He discovered little mustard sized black seeds on the roots that slid off easily and he found out how to grow them. As he grew up, he made the plants into a drug that he would later sell and make lots of cash over. To this day his name is known, but only a select few can associate a face with the name.

Brief Personality
Despite his criminal tendencies, Tysun's heart is more-so hardened by his past rather than naturally evil. He can sometimes deal with his business harshly, but a lot of times he is seemingly calm and overly chill. He's more addicted to the luxuries gained from his dealings (which gives him happiness along with the high of his drugs that substitutes for his lack of affection) rather than the power.

Fire (Lightning redirection and a rare style of combustion)
Special palm tattoos that correlate with the same chi path as the third eye tattoo. He is seemingly absent of the forehead tattoo but his palm tattoos allow him to blast explosive heat beams that explode upon contact with just about any surface.

Shadowcatcher and Expllo, you both make very good points and I agree with you both. What I mean by an AU is that it will be in the same world as the one we know in the show, but without the history established like Expllo mentioned. The world can be just as technologically advanced as LOK or a little more so with some places still traditional and less urban. Republic city or a city like it will exist, but it will not be as important to the role-plays actual plot line like it is in Korra's legend. I honestly haven't watched enough of either show for history to be a huge factor in this role-play. Therefore, I'd like for everyone to worry less about the history aspect and focus more on making our own history.

Shadowcatcher, I love your character so far - I am interested in knowing a little about Akari's background as far as her family life and her life experiences that have molded her into the character that she is. Do make sure and go back to edit in a little something informative about her past and I'm more than happy to look it over and accept you.

Sweet, looks like we have a good amount of interests. Don't expect anything spectacular out of the OOC (Just mainly a copy and paste of the synopsis and story plus a little bonus info possibly) Everyone is welcome to post a CS in the OOC, once it's up, and I'll take a look to see If any tweaking needs to be done.

Good questions Expllo, I haven't completely decided on the time period that this role-play will take place. In LOK there is Tenzin and his four children who are air benders - So therefore, the role-play could take place some years after LOK when the Air Nomads have repopulated. However, it also makes sense for the story to take place before Aang's time as well. (Still thinking on it and I'll let you all know)

As far as sub-bending, these are allowed - but the characters must only be able to do them to a limited extent until they learn to master the special technique completely. Invincible behavior and God modding within the Ic will not be tolerated for a second. If anyone has anymore questions, then please feel free to ask them.
