@duskshine749 Probably just meeting. How would Samuel have heard about Quinn looking for a roommate? There is a four year gap as far as age goes and Quinn doesn't go to college. I feel like it would have to be through a friend or two that word got around.
Appearance: Stands 5' 6" Pretty much everything other important detail you can see in the image. Around the iris of her eyes and softly bleeding into the whites is a thin black shadowy band, this is her mark of power.
Age: 18
Personality: Quinn would be considered shy if not for her competitive nature. She would push to do her best academically, particularly in athletics, but would shy away from large social events. Usually having a small core of friends meant they had a high degree of influence growing up. This is probably why she developed a rebellious streak later on in highschool and sought to become more independant. Having a facade of strong and tough she's really just playing the part and withdraws when she is more comfortable and not trying to beat someone.
Biography: Growing up on the edge of downtown breeds a particular kind of individual. Suburbia isn't that far away but you're still on the streets when going places. Being in that middle class just turning ghetto area means you have to be tough, or if nothing else look it. When you're young it isn't as important, you run and play when you're not having to do school work. All the average things that comes with it.
Highschool wasn't really that different either for Quinn. Though she did her best to excel in class she wasn't the top scorer or anything but made good grades. Her friends roped her into more of the street life and against her parents wished she got a couple tatoos which were rather childish. Cutting her hair short and dying it and wearing roughed up clothes she has assumed the persona of the world around her. Getting an entry level job at a grocery store was the first step to independence. Rooming with a friend shortly out of school things were tight and only got worse when that friend suddenly bailed. Looking for a new roommate or place while she still had a roof over her head was when the oddities began to happen. An inexplicable change took place that only served to complicate her situation further.

Extrasensory Hearing - The nearby shadows are her ears. Through them she can hear nearly anything and has a decent idea of where the source of sound is coming from. The darker an area the better she can pinpoint the source of a sound. Unlike normal hearing physical objects do not block the sound. So via a shadow she can hear things in another room as if she were there. This works with any shadows within fifteen yards. Unfortunately most of the finer details are lost until she learns to cope. This means hearing sounds coming from all the area around her almost constantly until she gets a handle on filtering it out.
Additional: For whatever reason Quinn does not cast a shadow no matter how much light there is.
Watching Cole and Taylor wander off into the woods Sarah rolled her eyes. "Wow, he's worse than I am. Wonder how long he'll survive in the woods with his injuries." Shrugging, two more invalids made their way toward Malena. One of them had a pretty nasty gash in their side. "Hm, well have fun with this one. I've done my share as far as I'm concerned." Before anyone could get a response in edgewise Sarah headed away. There was still the guys offering food like he was selling something.
Admittedly the sound of food was pretty alluring. However she'd gone hungry before and wouldn't let her guard down too much just for a handout. Sadly she couldn't just take it without potentially learning the hard way what this guy might be able to do. Better to know what she's up against than to go in swinging. On the way she picked up the stuff from the wreckage and gestured to Alex to follow. Making her way over to Tobias, Sarah pointed to the small pile of MRE pouches. "May I? The calories contained in one of those might not last as long as someone normally her size. Her increased strength came with a drawback for its use in the energy department.
By this point Sarah was pretty sure that they were close to overstaying their welcome. While her physical body hadn't taken much in the way of injury she still had been knocked out and wasn't entirely sure for how long. It was probably ten... maybe fifteen minutes since she came too and someone had taken all the stuff already. "On second thought, hang on to that. We need to leave." She said to herself before raising her voice. "We need to get out of here soon guys! Someone's still out there even if not their friends probably aren't far behind. And I don't feel like having a chat with them!"
If anyone would like to have a preexisting relationship with my character I'm down for that. If anyone needs a roommate or something, he's 22 and won't be much of a bother at all :P
Assuming my character is approved my character is looking to fill a room. So possibly...
