Visia listened intently to what Captain Kingsford told everyone. This information was delicate and important. Visia made sure to memorize every single word spoken. She knew there could possibly be dangerous repercussions is she forgot anything. Visia felt a rush of excitement when Kingsford spoke of Mr. Bennet and Mr. Overton's work on mechanical wings (though she kept it to herself, as she kept an intense expression). Her excitement increased when she heard about the special wings Overton was working on before he died.

The Airborn Peacekeeping Force would certainly put them to some good use. Visia thought.

At the end of Kingsford's long speech, Lady Imperia-Airwight asked everyone to come up with an alias. Visia was going to use "Golden Wings" but felt that using that as an alias would give her identity away too easily. All members of the Airborn Peacekeeping Force wear a pin that is just that: Golden wings.

What else could my alias be? Visia said to herself as she continued to think long and hard about this. It turned into more of an arduous task for Vis than it needed to be. She knew it had to be related to flying. That's the only way Vis would even remember it.
Yet somehow she just couldn't come up with a name. Visia went through the many different aspects of flying that she loved, trying to decide upon an alias. It overwhelmed the woman, as she couldn't seem to choose just one. Whenever she thought she had the perfect alias, she either thought of something better or it turned out to be another name that would make it too obvious who it belonged to. Visia sighed in frustration. She felt like she wouldn't be able to come up with anything for herself. Then, something in her brain clicked.

Gears... I fix wings and other air machinery when I'm not in the sky. And those gears...
they're bronze. Bronze Gears.

After the man who has given himself the alias of "aubergine handkerchief" sat back down after telling the Captain, Visia followed suit.
"You have my support as well. I pray to the Divine that all your bronze gears stay in working order."

I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for not jumping in to the IC yet. I'm running an X-Men RP of my own and have been focusing heavily on that. I still plan to jump in at some point but it may not be immediately.

The Symbiote is the source of her powers.

Wall-climbing: The ability to crawl, stand and even run on walls.

Shapeshifting abilities: For now, Gwen can only change her clothing or camouflage, however, it both looks and feels completely like the material it mimics. She can also shape her body to a small extent, like producing tiny claws or grow webbed hands for swimming.

Venom web: a liquid-like web shooting from the top of her wrists, that works much like Spider-Man’s webbing. Much stronger though, making it near impossible to break even for a superpowered individual. Over the course of an hour it deteriorates, or (if Gwen allows it) it can disappear instantly.

Enhanced physical strength and resilience: Able to lift a car, jump about 5 meters strait up into the air. She can also take huge amounts of punishment without dying.

Enhanced senses and talents: Basically Gwen benefits from the Symbiote's prior experiences. Beyond the heightened reflexes, it gives Gwen a vast amount of combat practice and precision when fighting.

Minor healing factor: Scratches and bruises doesn’t bother her much, but blood and broken bones takes a good while to heal.

Weaknesses: Very loud sounds or certain sonic waves will paralyses her and leave her in great pain.

Backstory:
Gwen was always a nice girl. Sure, she could talk back and experiment, but you could trust she always showed up for the important stuff. Said no to drugs, knew when to lend you a hand etc. She lived in a shit apartment attached to a shit view, and yet she could barely afford it. She was never close with her father, the police chief, maybe that’s why she bonded with doctor Curt Conners. What started out as an internship evolved into a beautiful partnership that has been going on for 4 productive years. As the employees left and equipment broke down, Gwen stayed on the sinking ship with the captain. Oscorp’s funding did seem to keep them afloat for a little while longer.
A month ago, the lab got its huge break. Norman Osborn himself tasked Conners with the job of testing the boundaries of something the world had never seen before: an extraterrestrial lifeform. A Klyntar. A liquid biological organism, able to live with neither oxygen nor nourishment, nicknamed Symbiote. The next 13 days life was good: Assistance was given to the lab, funding poured in, and hope along with it. Conners could hardly keep his hands from waving in utter joy (yep, both of them).
Then one night, Gwen was working late. That’s when it happened. As if gravity didn’t apply the container fell over, broke (though it was supposed to be tempered glass) and the black goo jump right up at Gwen. Next thing she knew, she woke up on top of Oscorp next to the words “We are Venom” scratched into the roof. Despite her massive scare, she told no one about it.
Osborn was furious, swearing to sue the lab for every penny they had.

The story picks up as Gwen has had the Symbiote for 2 weeks. She has been using it to fight crime, and solve a few problems. Now, little by little she’s starting to wonder if she is the one who uses it or the other way around. Not only that, but Gwen is also forced to conclude that Norman Osborn is not just someone you disappoint. A while ago his wrath rain down on the competitor, Hammer Tec, and now his eyes are fixed on Gwen and Dr. Conners.

Special Skills (if any): Computer programming. A broad knowledge of science with a specialty in bioengineering.

Backstory: (The Short version because I like to reveal a lot through play)

Sebastian was born to a single mother that lived the life of a modern-day gypsy. They never stayed in one location for more than a year, and he frequently went in and out of the foster system because his mother had a tendency to drink too much and get herself in trouble. She always found a way to get him back, and he loved her for that. It wasn’t what most would consider a “normal” childhood, but he never felt unloved. His mother raised him to be slow to trust, and since he didn’t get the common social experiences that most youth do he suffers a bit in the social graces department. He’s accepted that he’s not always like other kids (in more ways than one), and just kind of does his own thing. He doesn’t talk about how he found out about his powers, and doesn’t like to use them unless absolutely necessary.

Get to no him more and you’ll unlock more :D.

I think your CS is good! I've added it to the main OOC post. I think the only thing I would change is probably the word g*psy. That is considered to be a racial slur. I know you're not meaning to use it in a derogatory way but to be on the safe side, if you could use a different word (possibly nomad?) that'd be better.
