Bella overheard them and broke away from her brother, approaching the nearest hallway enterance and slipping through it. Nothing would hurt her, being what she is, so she was confident to go forth first. And this one leads to the haunted kitchen. Not a good idea to show them in here before somebody gets hurt, She thought, pausing at a door before continuing until she reached a set of stairs. She scaled them with ease.
Zarius watched his sister then sighed and hurried after her, keeping quiet and a few feet behind her. He wanted to see what she did. This behavior wasn't in her typical nature.

Haley slowly approached Jackob, recognizing him. She offered him her hand to help him up, glancing hesitantly at Ciara. Why had the siblings been fighting? Why did they fight? She had so many questions. But she didn’t speak for a good moment before deciding to ask only one of her questions. “You alright?” It was directed at Jackob, since she noticed his weakened state.
That draft had not been a draft in fact. It had been a Haunt. The Haunt floated near Zoe, sometimes passing through her to simulate a strange draft. But it had a rhthym to its passes. Three long. Three short. Three long. Morse code for SOS. There was no emergency that it knew of, but it still did as it did.

Haley nodded, still avoiding eye contact. She took a step back then retreated into the tunnels, in search of Halo and Pentagram. She didn't know their real names, only that they were siblings. Why are two siblings so different? Maybe fire and ice? I can't remember. Crap what were their names? I think one of them was... Jake? No. Jackob? Yeah, I think that was it. But what was Halo? Since I'm pretty sure Jackob is Pentagram, so then what's Halo? I think her name is Sia... it starts with that... uh... She emerged on the two siblings fighting and froze.

Haley studied her feet. Perhaps spying hadn’t been her best idea. “You were talking about me. Sorry…” She muttered, not looking up at the leader. “I was just curious as to why you were talking about me…” It was a weak excuse, but it was true. Why would they be talking about me if they didn’t want me to hear? Well, that’s probably part of the reason they were holed up in Zoe’s room-

Haley jumped, startled. She turned and studied Elise's features. She knew the beta was right, but they were talking about her. "Sorry. They were just talking about me and... I guess I thought it was important. Sorry," She apologized profusely, lowering her head and stepping away from the door. She was careful to stay close to the wall so Zoe and Miara didn't see her.

Haley Bishop listened in on Zoe and Miara's conversation, leaning against the wall. They were talking about her. But why? It puzzled her. She was fully able to do a mission, coming from a long line of solo criminals, but it seemed like Zoe didn't trust her to do as she was told. It's probably because I don't normally do what I'm told, She thought, But I can change! If the reward is enough, I'll follow orders!
