He didn't fully let his guard down but the pair seemed pretty harmless to him, at least.

As soon as I kind of find my way into the plot, Cynder leaves. Let's hope I have better luck with my character approaching Justin and Midnight.

The group continued on in the woods. Orson realized that they must have not heard him and stopped. He made a decision not to pursue them further. Whatever caused the explosion he figured that they could probably handle it alone. To him, they seemed to be the equivalent of a well-oiled machine. He turned intangible and began to float back towards his cabin when he heard gunfire come from the woods. He began to float in the direction the shots came from but quickly came to a stop and stopped using his powers. Two people had just come down from a tree. He turned tangible and fell a few inches so that his feet were now touching the ground. Orson was still holding the shotgun but he was holding it in one hand and the barrel pointed to the ground. He wasn’t in full alert mode because they didn’t look like Blades. They weren’t in uniform and there were only two of them. He looked Midnight and Justin over again before addressing them. “Hello. Did you two hear that gunfire from a few moments ago?”

In a strange way, Terry was relieved when the powers were deactivated. He wasn’t relaxed though. He was sure that some of these kids possessed powers that were greater than his were. However, since the powers had been neutralized, he felt he now had a chance to do better in this class. He suspected though with all the training he had been through there were still people who could fight better than he could. Terry felt ready to learn because, after all, he loved fighting and was sure that Mammoth and perhaps even his fellow students could teach him something that he didn’t know. He was eager at the chance to learn to be a better fighter. He knew his body was good but it could be better. As Terry stood among the other people in the class, he began to study them again wondering how the class would proceed. He had no questions and was ready to begin.

Can someone give me a summary of United?

> Alright. Any way I can jump into what's going on? Well my character attempted to get the attention of Milla, Taylor, and Jude who if I remember correctly were heading towards the explosion in a group. Mostly everyone else's character's are in very large group. So my character could follow yours to meet the others. Then everyone will probably split up and take out the five blades running around alone in the forest. Also there might be a time skip coming up. Did I miss anything guys?

So how long has it between the evacuation and the first post?

Orson hadn't been following the trio of Jude, Taylor, and their leader for very long when he decided to approach them. He figured that they were some sort of organized resistance. He figured that they might be planning an escape and that maybe they could help each other. Even though they could be dangerous, Orson decided to approach them because he hoped that they wouldn't attack first and ask questions later. That didn't seem like a move a planned resistance group would make. He hoped his assessment was correct for he knew how costly a mistake would be. Either way, it had been a while since he had interacted with a non-blade anyway. He stopped using his powers and ran behind the three. "Hey! Wait up! Are you guys checking out the explosion?" Orson shouted to the group.

Adam and Milla were perched up against a fallen log a few yards away and told the story of how "two unseen and brave Outcasts burned the despicable Blades to death" and then Milla laughed, while Adam remained silent. > > **"Aww, I wanted to kill some Blades,"** Taylor spoke with a partial pout and Milla looked over the log into the woods, **"Not to easily to see at this time of night in a forest this dense. Orson only heard the end of the conversation. A woman gave out commands. It seemed these people were organized and it was obvious that the woman was in charge. One of the members split off from the group having been ordered to return to the camp. Orson decided to follow the three that remained. They were obviously going to check out the explosion as well and something about the way the woman in charge spoke made Orson want to learn more about their group. He floated over a log and followed the group. Orson was completely visible but remained intangible as he trailed the three.
