Sam snickered "Well, why wouldn't I? You have a grenade at my head.And plus I have my pistols in my boots. I would have literally just shot you right now before that grenade even leaves your hand. But I'm not going to shoot you for the sake of my team", She said crossing her arms. She didn't really know where the girl was or Rick at all! She only saw it! She was still new at this kind of stuff. She doesn't even know how she knew. "Get that grenade away or I won't tell him to leave her alone" she said looking at the direction she heard movement. *Hope that is Rick and the girl so I won't explode to bits*, she thought. (Sorry if my post make no sense.)

"Fine" he said, putting the pin back in, then boosting over to where Midnight was. He saw the man about three meters away, so he threw a smoke grenade at the man's feet. "Sorry about this" he said as he moved to throw Midnight over his shoulder and jumped into the trees. Hopefully the smoke would cover their retreat. Just to be safe, though, he didn't go towards the safe house. A few minutes later, and about a kilometer away he stopped and sat her down. "Sorry, again." he said. "I didn't know he was close to you."

Sam walked to where Rick was. He was rubbing his eyes by now and on the ground, "You okay?" Was what she said and when he nodded looking up. She helped him up and towards the others. Luckily they were already standing up and they don't have to carry them. They turned and ran. "Don't worry guys. We will get some later.", she said as they went back to base. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Midnight was tensed up once again a little shaky. But she was fine so she said, "Don't be sorry. You didn't know." She looked at him, "Are you okay?"

(this is before you left I suppose) Oliver and Cerys stayed behind. "We'll catch up" he said. He didn't want to leave Lily. "Are you gonna come? Please just trust me, we'll be safer with more of us right now" he said. "After a while if nothing happens and you wanna go, that's ok. But right now we should go" He said to her

Lily nodded. She came to the conclusion that it would be better for now to stay with them. If ever things looked unfavorable, then she would leave quickly. "All right, she said.

"Come on then" Oliver said. Oliver and Cerys started walking and caught up with the group. Nothing interesting was happening, they were all just talking. They were walking for a bit when Cerys and Oliver hear a voice in their heads. _Cayotes_. Oliver picked up some stones and Cerys put up a forcefield around the group. It was a weak one since it was big. Oliver looked around. There were quite a few cayotes. "Anyone got any ideas?"

Maxwell had silently followed along with the rest of the group. " I can't really fight off coyotes. This pipe is no match for a wild animal." Maxwell made a slight motion with the metal pipe. "Any of you able to control fire or something?"

"Um, I can create fires. Sort of" he said. Oliver wasn't exactly a fan of blowing animals up. He watched as they snarled and growled at them; and as they crept in closer towards them. "I can only hold up against a few barges. Someone do something" Cerys said. Oliver could see that the forcefield was tiring her out as it was covering a whole group. Sweat poured down Cerys's face. While she wasn't terrified; she was still scared and holding the forcefield up over so many people took a bit of energy.

Haru went towards where they coyotes were at and saw the other group. She crouched where she was at and focused her powers on creating a storm above the coyotes. Dark clouds started to materialize, rumbling with thunder.

Phillip sighed. "I can blind them with light to buy us time and burn them a bit if I bring out my spotlight, but that want only annoy them." He flipped out his arm blade. "I should be able to hold my own if I have to fight hand to hand. --- Justin nodded his head as he panted. "Yeah," he said, "but that kind of wore me out. We'll have to walk the rest of the way." He pointed. "It's three kilometers that way." Now that he'd caught his breath, he picked her up and jumped down from the tree. "Come on. We can rest there."

Midnight let out a sound that sounded like a yelp and closed her eyes when they jumped down the tree, "Next time Justin warn me!" She glared only slightly. And got out of his grip putting her hand to the side of her stomach, "Lets go then. You need some rest" she started to walk to the direction he pointed.

Pip let Lily down and head straight towards the nearest tree. Without waiting, he picked it up, uprooted the whole thing, and threw it at the pack of coyote's. In the meantime, Lily was holding a glowing Bob, that was ready to cook them like toast . . . ahem.

The group continued on in the woods. Orson realized that they must have not heard him and stopped. He made a decision not to pursue them further. Whatever caused the explosion he figured that they could probably handle it alone. To him, they seemed to be the equivalent of a well-oiled machine. He turned intangible and began to float back towards his cabin when he heard gunfire come from the woods. He began to float in the direction the shots came from but quickly came to a stop and stopped using his powers. Two people had just come down from a tree. He turned tangible and fell a few inches so that his feet were now touching the ground. Orson was still holding the shotgun but he was holding it in one hand and the barrel pointed to the ground. He wasn’t in full alert mode because they didn’t look like Blades. They weren’t in uniform and there were only two of them. He looked Midnight and Justin over again before addressing them. “Hello. Did you two hear that gunfire from a few moments ago?”

He was still exhausted from the battle with and escape from the Blades, and hoped that the man didn't chose to attack. He didn't know if he could handle another Outcast in his condition. "Yeah, I ambushed a Blade patrol. I was getting tired, and they almost captured her, however, so I negotiated their withdrawal instead of fighting them further. If you're looking for a fight, though, they're about a kilometer that way." He pointed back the way they came. It felt like a betrayal sending someone else after them after the arrangement they had made, but it was unlikely the man would find them if they really did head back to base, and he was trying to keep both he and Midnight safe.

Midnight felt guilty for not helping Justin with the Blades. She should have done something since she had powers too. She looked at Justin and could somehow see the exhaustion in him, so she walked to him and grabbed his arm lightly keeping him up. She will thank him later but they need to get to safety. Midnight looked at the guy who seemed to be floating and her eyes narrowed when she saw the shotgun and was still alerted even if the guy was pointing the gun to the ground. She didn't say anything and just let them talk. She really didn't have anything to say since she was still spooked up quite a bit.

Just after Ice had left to investigate John had heard a rustling behind him. He spun around to look and was met with the butt of a gun, cracking him in the jaw. He collapsed, unconscious on the floor of the ground. Four Blades stepped forward and picked him up, carrying him back towards the city. They eventually reached a nicer looking apartment that served as their current base. It was right near the bridge back to America, and had a nice view of the rundown city. The Blades threw John in a room on the third floor. It had been retrofitted to contain Outcasts. Miniature nodes had been placed throughout the room that would dampen his powers, preventing him from being too destructive. In other words, he was screwed.

"Fi-? No. No. Not at all. Fighting them is dangerous and even more than that it is pointless. Although, it does feel good sometimes. I'm just curious and wanted to know if any of us needed help. You know, the other wrongly incarcerated prisoners. I'm Sebas- Orson. I'm Orson. Who are you?" Orson posture began to ease as he spoke. He didn't fully let his guard down but the pair seemed pretty harmless to him, at least.

I'm willing to trade if you want, or if you need it, I can give you some food. I would rather go somewhere safe, though. They could have other patrols in the area, and it's just not safe." --- Philip waited for the others to deal with the coyotes. "I can fight them if they get close, or blind them to buy us time to run, but my powers aren't really offensive." he told them.
