Kato looked back at the small group of people that accumulated around him. For some reason he thought there was going to be more people, but its seems like not many more will come. It put a little more pressure on Kato but nothing that wasn't expected. He turned back towards a voice that was approaching the group, another mage selected out of the thousands to get a chance to join IMFO. Kato waved back at the boy out of courtesy. That's when he heard the booming voice of the interviewer and snapped his head back at him.
He waited until the boy reached the group before saying, "All of you here today have been chosen from thousands of applicants to see if you got what it takes to join our agency." He paused for a second before continuing. "In the email you received you were informed there will be in an open interview at this time, but that was only a half truth. You see, there won't be an interview, not a formal one anyway, because you few have already been accepted to join." The man's assertive voice seemed to attract a small crowed of onlookers that surrounded the fenced in testing ground. He continued, "Your remarkable scores on the final exams of what ever school you went to, shows that you have considerable promise. Here, we're going to put that to the test."
The interviewer, who has yet to introduce himself, reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a dry paint brush. He holds it above his head, bristles pointing upwards, and shouts, "Let's see what you got!" A second later magic starts to pour out of the paintbrush flowing sporadically around the testing ground. After about a minute, the interviewers magic starts to create a very well constructed illusion across the entire testing ground. The barren field slowly turned into an arena that was laid with sun dried dirt. Then, one by one, beasts of all types started emerging. After about 6-7 minutes the entire scenery had changed, there no longer a field filled with grass, but rather an arena of sorts filled with beasts. The interviewers voice boomed again, "Work as a team to eliminate all the beast and destroy the illusion...I'll be watching you."
