This being the third Master app with guns makes me incredibly tempted to ban guns for Masters because frankly it shouldn't be a thing. Instead I think I'll just attach a penalty to it to be imposed in-character, should the Church Overseer catch anyone using them.

No safehouses, everyone comes into Fuyuki with the same prep, which is to say zero.

I forgot to mention this before, but homunculi won't have magic crests unless a magus is a weirdo who used his family's genes to make them and also treats the homunculus as a successor. So yeah.
Can I get an update on anyone who will be apping a Master but hasn't sent me a sheet yet? Just to see if we need more people.
@Hantu Kongkek

Alrighty, thanks. Just change the Magic Resistance description to the right one (Cancels Single-Action spells. Magic Resistance of the same degree of an amulet that rejects magical energy.) and then you're approved.
@Hantu Kongkek

You haven't changed MAN to D or LCK to B.

C rank MR is still too high for someone with his recency, unless you want to argue that he was exposed to magi. It should probably be D.

There is no canon Servant that has A rank Military Tactics. Neither Alexander the Great, Attila the Hun, Julius Caesar, nor Oda Nobunaga have it; they all have B. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Jackson was bad, but I am saying that he doesn't deserve the highest rank in the skill that we've ever seen, especially considering the people that would put him above.

The problem with Specie Circular is that it's too far reaching. Noble Phantasms are crystallizations of feat and can function symbolically, but even in a case where they're doing that, it doesn't generate such a disjunct to where "I stopped a bank" is able to turn into "I have an item that seeks out and moves to stop any antagonistic interference". It makes even less sense since its an action of the cane to defend Jackson and not an action of Jackson himself.

Besides that, Jackson is really not someone who should be getting a second Noble Phantasm in Japan. He's a recent Heroic Spirit who's necessarily low in mystery, and he's about as far out of his Staging Ground as it gets. I'm not utilizing a codified fame system since those things are hell, nor am I banning Servants that have access to guns on face, but that makes me even more hesitant to accept a pretty heavily wanked NP than I would otherwise because I'm already granting leeway.
If this gets accepted, it would be the first proper mage, instead of a third rate hack lol.

To be fair, there shouldn't be any first-rate magi competing in the war. Japan's an irrelevant country and the thought of them having anything worthwhile is laughable to just about everyone. Kayneth coming there so that he could wreck everyone and have some fun was the equivalent of an Oscar-winner competing in your high school talent show to laugh at how stupid all the kids are.
@KoL
Nine generations, but it's never specified if that includes him or not. So either ninth or tenth. But yeah, someone with Kayneth's lineage is good enough to have connections to form a first-rate intra-Clocktower faction, and even Lorelei doesn't completely look down on him.

Alrighty.

Alrighty.

Mkay, let me know if you need help.

Alright.

Alright, but just so you know that's more like having a puppet with a preprogrammed AI than copying Kayneth. Volumen's great because it's about as great as fluidics can get; the automated search and stuff like that are just add-ons. Also it won't be properly autonomous, neither is Volumen, it'll just be like a robot.
@KoL

A twelve-generation family is even higher than the Archibalds. That's pretty absurdly huge; keep in mind that a generation for magi is longer than it is for normal people because longevity.

Lower either Circuit Quantity or Quality to B.

The Second Magic doesn't violate conservation of energy, just as an FYI.

If you want to store energy in things, you need a Conversion attribute like the Edefelts. The problem is that if you want to pump energy into gold or something, you can't just lock it in place; it'll naturally seep out because that's how the world works. You can use magical energy, but you need a Conversion attribute for that, and jewels are just better for that anyway, so that basically makes you Rin-Lite.

Also, keep in mind that an A rank attack is enough to destroy a small house; the amount of energy you're describing her as being able to use is way too much, and way, way, way too fast. As an example, a kilogram of TNT is more than a kilowatt hour of electricity; you're not getting that stuff "instantaneously". Forget Rin-Lite, this is closer to Rin-EX.

Being an Average One doesn't mean you can deal with any kind of energy, it just means you can use any of the Five Great Elements. Like, there's not "water prana" and "wind prana", it's all just prana that you filter and then pump into a magic foundation so the World will cast a cool spell.

What aspects of the Mercury Moeblob were incorporated? I don't really understand what the point of it is or what makes it special in general.
Hey uh, I had a look over the Characters tab but just wanted to check in first to make sure, are there any vacancies at the moment? Looks like Servants are pretty booked but I have a few concepts for a master.

No Master slots are actually booked, since I don't let people reserve slots in advance. The people noted in the Characters tab for Masters are largely just ones who have expressed interest in apping a Master, but don't treat it as a reservation of slot.

So yes, you're free to app a Master~

Everyone can make a master and a servant iirc. But I dont think we absolutely need to pair our master and servants together.

<Snipped quote by kusanagifire>

Actually, I think this may be the intention from the beginning, to not pair our own characters, I mean.

Yes, this is correct. People shouldn't be pairing with themselves. It's unfair because a lot of Fate/ stuff is the partner dynamic, which in such a case you fully control, and it's also just pretty boring.
@Zobozun

If he's physically specced then he should be bad in magecraft stuff. Lower circuit stats.

Also, he'll be sub-DA tier in physical ability for the sake of balancing, as an FYI. Remove the bit about about him having Servant stats. Leysritt manages to get B- minus strength at the cost of having all of her stat points put into physical stuff and being mentally retarded, and she's an Einzbern homunculus of a much higher grade than Rasputin. Masters should not be able to have physical abilities on par with Servants; this is for mechanics as much as it is for balancing. I won't even allow Dead Apostle Masters because of balancing, one with Servant-equivalent stats is several times more broken.

The internal furnace will require time to operate and will have its limits, obviously.

@Hantu Kongkek

AGI to C, MAN to D, LCK to B.

Why does a guy of the modern age who was never exposed to magecraft have B rank magic Resistance?

Justify why he has higher Military Tactics than Alexander the Great.

Why does "I hate banks" turn into "I can track and stop attacks"?

Make Max Targets on Trail of Tears a number and not a range. Anti-Populace isn't a thing. Keep in mind a range of 30 means it's a donut, you probably want 1-30. The field will be shattered by stronger effects or concept. Invocation will be considered as a ten-count. It'll be viewed as a Bounded Field infinitely close to an RM, from the description.
The horrifying moment you realize you have a Caster and everyone else has Magic Resistance.
Whelp, I always did love a challenge, thought I find myself for more empathetic to the plight of Medea. No wonder she had to drain all those civilians.

Magic Resistance only matters if you let it matter. It's easy to get around if you know what you're doing.

@Zobozun

So he's a homunculus? What's his defect? They all need defects. Keep in mind that he's not going to be Einzbern-quality.

A homunculus can be designed for either magecraft (Sella), or physical (Leysritt). Which is he? The profile suggests physical, so to what degree?

All homunculi have sucky od. Like, worse than even the lowest human's od.

His magic code is located where a normal person's navel would be.

His what?

Just say the watch is am amplifier for suggestion, remove the part about "attuning energy".

If he knows alchemical theory, why does he not know alchemy?

Also, Alchemy's a very odd Origin, but that's not really something you need to change.

How does the "internal furnace" work? Is it a Mystic Code inside his body, or what?
