After waiting for a while and watching what the pirates actually did, Mint decided that it was about time she quit that hiding game and actually know more about the newcomers. "Sorry." She said, flying away from her hiding spot so she could come from behind Fotis, and face those pirates. After all, surprising those newcomers from behind wasn't a good idea, especially with their... quite mysterious weapons, at least from Mint's point of view. She did know about swords, but those... metal sticks with a hole in them, she couldn't really identify those, no matter how much she looked at them. "Hey, Fotis!" Mint called, waving as she flew towards him. "Hello to you too." She said with a little smile as she landed, not really remembering the mermaid's name at the moment. "So you must be the newcomers." Mind said with a straight face, trying not to look too suspicious, even though she was from one side excited, and from the other side a bit scared.
@GingerBoi123 Someone correct me if I'm wrong in any of this:
The pirates left their ship in a boat to the island, a group of three: Ahab, Dawn, and Daichi. The group of three are now in 'negotiation' with Fotis, a minotaur, and with him two others, Faeya, a fairy, and another mermaid I forget her name already :V . My character, Mint (fairy) , together with Clarisse (mermaid) , are hiding in a tree where they can hear the pirates and their 'negotiation' , but not get in sight. A fourth pirate, Seth, stayed on the ship a bit more, only to jump into the water later and get stinged by jellyfish and being rescued by Zvezdan, a merman, who told him to leave the island. Apparently a mermaid whose name also escapes me right now is treating him on the beach.
Another note: The pirates are obviously searching for treasure, and according to the GM, there's something about the treasure - it's divided between all races, and if it's seperated from the island, those who stole it will die a horrible death ... or something like that.

Well... I'm sure there's more information I missed in those 5~6 lines, but... it's better than nothing :V
@SpazzyKat Umm can I get some kind of permission to move? It's been a while, and the pirates already made some moves. Also another one just joined lol.
Yeah she didn't actually say anything. You know, stealth and stuff. Also I was kinda waiting for Clarisse who was there with her, didn't want to change the situation too much.
'If Clarisse would be slow to react, Mint would take the chance to withdraw further into the forest' ... is what the little fairy thought to herself until something completely unexpected, at least for her, happened. ' Old man Fotis...?? Why is he here now of all times?? I know he's a kind of a merchant, but this is a little dangerous, even for him...!' The little fairy thought, following that was an... unexpected surprisingly legitimate trade offer from the pirates. 'The treasure, they said...? Don't they know they would die if they take it?' Mint thought, not even knowing what they offered in return, as she was not focused on getting a good view at that moment. ... that and she hoped Fotis didn't mind her calling him 'old man', even though she never really said that to him directly.
Mint got a little nervous when Clarisse glared at her. She didn't underestimate the situation, but it seemed like all of a sudden things just got more serious than they should have been. "Looks like it." She whispered back, agreeing at the fact that they didn't have much choice other than to tail them... and for her to fly away as fast as she could and warn everyone whenever the pirates come close to a sensitive spot. "No need to tell me twice." Mint nodded, trying to stay quiet. All that however, the stealth part was in danger of being cut short. She nearly panicked when she heard what one of the pirates said about them not being alone anymore. 'Already?! Just what was it that made them alert?!' She thought to herself, turning to Clarisse to see what she advised to do. If Clarisse would be too slow to react, Mint would take the chance to withdraw further into the forest.
Wait, wasn't Zvezdan's hair (and Zvezdan himself I guess) tangled in there somewhere? I don't quite get how Seth just threw the rod on the floor and jumped there? Or am I reading something wrong?

Mint endured the little pat on the head, forgiving the little scare rather quickly. She just felt it'd be a waste of time to bother saying more than she already did. "Oh, so you do have experience with them, Clarisse? They don't sound too friendly, from what you're saying.. drawing weapons like that also being rude." Said the little fairy as she wondered what kind of experience could Clarisse, the mermaid in front of her, possibly have with those people. She imagined that it wouldn't be anything good though, from what she heard. "... But couldn't we just watch them like this, so we could just know what they're up to by their actions? That's what I thought anyway." Mint didn't completely disagree with withdrawing, but she didn't really agree with just letting them come without any warning about their possible routes. She couldn't know about the mermaid which already went and warned the minotaurs, but she didn't want to be the one responsible if the pirates just decided to pop out of nowhere inside the minotaur village.
"Wha-" Mint managed to say while trying to be quiet for some reason, even if the pirates weren't that close yet. She looked back in a sharp movement, her eyes widening a bit. It seemed like the unknown, for her at least, was scarier than the pirates. ... even though the pirates were a kind of an 'unknown' factor too. When she saw Clarisse, Mint sighed in relief. "Geez, don't scare me like that... for a moment I thought it was one of -them- coming straight for me from behind or something." Said Mint, getting closer to Clarisse. It was partly Clarisse's choice of words that caused the misunderstanding to begin with, Mint was also guilty of the same thing straight after - She emphasized the word 'them', but she really didn't mean the pirates, but other potential threats like elves. "So... what do you make of those people?" She asked, that time she did refer to the pirates.
Mint watched as three people got off the boat, successfully invading the island's shore. She retreated away from the coast, however to still get a good view of the invaders she also got closer to the route she assumed they were going to go from, assuming they would go straight. She noticed that someone out of the three was asking something from the other two. She couldn't hear what exactly the question was, but it led her to think about the possibility that their reason for invading the island was a sort of 'trip' or 'detour' going wrong. Noticing what looked like weapons on them though, adding to the skull mark on the ship, the possibility that their trip was a peaceful one went down quite a bit.
