Mint was doing her usual round around the island's forests... at least the round itself was usual, but her route was never really decided, as she went wherever she wanted that moment. Along her route that time, she happened to see from a distance someone who seemed to be another fairy, on the edge of the forest. Despite the fact that it'd be quite meaningless to just hide and follow the fellow fairy, Mint decided to do it anyway, officially disrupting her flight through the forest. She thought that later, when the fairy does find her, she'd tell her where she noticed her... but then... ship. A large, intimidating ship. What particularly caught Mint's eyes was the large skull mark on the sail. She almost even failed to notice the smaller boat reaching for the island, if it wasn't for the other fairy's cautious movements. Letting her 'follow target' get away, Mint focused on taking her distance from the ship and boat reaching the shore although she still was curious to know what would come out of it. 'Just don't let it be more elves' she thought to herself.

Ok I tried to make a character. I hope I didn't screw up, it was a bit rushed as to not completely fall behind the pace of posts. That and I hit a wall when trying to write some bio.

Personality: She'd seem like the 'nice girl' type, with her ability and her use of it supporting that statement, but she can be in fact surprisingly childish. She is not evil however, just a bit childish. She even looks a bit young for her age, but she does get offended by others calling her out about it. She developed a mix of fear and hatred for elves, unless they prove to be friendly and not haughty, which she doesn't believe will happen anytime soon. Looks up to Minotaurs, helps them every once in a while, although this is pretty much on a whim.

Abilities: She is capable of flying, that's her regular ability for a fairy, but she has two little special abilities. The first of those is Photosynthesis - through what seems to be her wings, she is able to absorb some power from the sun, and convert it to power and some neutrients for herself. The extent of this is about the same as human meals - she has to focus on it actively for about 10 minutes to get a feeling of 'fullness' (it can vary depending on the amount of light) . She passively does it too, but it's not nearly enough to actually be anything significant, it just means a bit longer 'recharge times'. The second special ability is to transfer energy from herself to other living beings, including plants. When she does this, it looks like twinkles of light coming out of her towards her target.

Bio: Having run away from some elves she come to anger more than once, she is a bit against staying in one place for long periods of time. (for now I guess.)

Ummm question - can I still join this RP, 27 posts in (as of now) ? I know I'm quite late, but I did read through the posts and characters, at least to some degree. Also, I plan to play a fairy, which would possibly actually go and befriend one of the pirates ( which one was it who posted 'get the treasure, not harm the inhabitants unless they come at you first, possibly make some friends' again? ) . So yeah, probably going to get ninja'd with the '27 posts' thing, but question still holds(( <- Edit: I surprisingly didn't)) . Anyone?

I really wanted to avoid that kind of situation where I make the 'final' post that makes the RP officially dead. It's really been a while, but I think it happened to me at least once already... It makes me feel guilty, I expected it to make it a little further than that, even if it's a non-serious RP. Anyone? GM?

"... Beatrice?" Questioned Yato after some moments of silence, tilting her head a bit. She tried to figure out who exactly was this girl before her talking about, coming up with no results whatsoever, only getting confused in the process.
'I was quite lucky to find another person to talk to within reasonable time after getting here... but as young as she looks, can't help but wonder who in the world would send kids to a whole new world and actually expects them to survive. Anyway, it's a start alright.' The blacksmith thought to herself, reaching a conclusion before speaking again. "... So you don't know where this place is either...? Thinking about it, I didn't see any people around here. D'you know why the hell would there be a town in a place like this? Or is it just me not seeing things right?" Asked Yato.

Ok, I guess this should be a good warm up after all this time. ... I don't have a 'serious' expression sprite for this one, but only one 'close' to it. (( I hope it will go well. Just don't tell me I screwed up already. ))
My first post is actually kinda directed towards Maria, but I typed it so it could be anyone in that 'town' Gummi mentioned.

"... What an odd place." Yato thought to herself, putting away her hammer and raising her sunglasses to better see her surroundings. "I was sure everything was running perfectly, then I get thrown into this world... Well, let's explore the place... Project Eden." She said to no one in particular, picking up her trusty hammer. The place she was thrown into wasn't that far from what seemed to be a town. She wondered if anyone was there, since it would be weird if she was the only one in this strange world, and the most likely place to find someone else would be a settlement.

After some time walking, she noticed another person in the distance. "Hey! Do you know what exactly is this place??" She raised her voice a bit. Somehow that person didn't seem like a regular human to her, but she couldn't pinpoint what it was.

For now I'll be watching this RP too. I wonder, if I join, what character I will use. I had a few candidates in mind, but either I don't have enough, or any, pictures for them, or they're quite overpowered if I use their default powers and lore.

(( Edit: 1 post in 286 days, you're not mistaken; Yes, I'm a 'sudden returner', all of my posts and RPs were in the old Guild, before it was wiped. ))

PS: Do you guys know of any image host which won't delete your pictures after a short while? It's quite disappointing to see 'picture deleted' stuff, after all.
