Kingdom of Origin: Miriand (has traveled, however)
Description: Standing at 5 feet 10 inches, Ji has deep green eyes, black hair, and a pale complexion. His hair is kept short, which along with his boyish features and ritual shaving give him a boyish look. Thin yet well built, Ji’s arms and legs seem slightly too long for his body, and his comparatively small hands and feet extenuate a sense of unease if looked at for too long. He often wears grey and black to not draw attention.
Personality: Ji’s mood varies based on who he is talking to, but most often he has a charismatic, opportunistic, and aggressive attitude. He has a biting tongue and tends to incite others, and is spendthrift. Has a degree of megalomania, which comes with a sense of self importance disjointed from reality. However, when something gets under his skin, his behaviors change drastically. His silent fury has more than once led to underhanded dealings smeared in blood.
Equipment: Alchemical Library, 1 of each Elixir, and fashionable clothes.
Skills:
Bargaining: Getting good deals through any means possible. Economics: Shrewd business tactics, how different actions taken by the government influence the economy, an understanding of inflation and supply and demand Trade: How to obtain rare items, make profits from the transfer of goods, etc.
Alchemy: Creation of Poisons, Elixirs, Wards, and Explosives
Elixers: Knows Elixir of Magical Mayhem (causes violent side effects solely to those who practice magic), Elixir of agility, and elixir of Enhanced Rejuvenation (increases healing to the body, but takes time to take effect and requires consumption of a lot of food)
Wards: Knows how to make a alchemical tripwire that can trigger an Explosion or release of an Elixir.
Explosives: Can create bombs that rely on magical compounds. Expensive but powerful.
Weaknesses: No formal combat training of any variety. Obsession with mages and magic, and will often refuse to deal with mages. Only has one eye.
Background: The third son of a powerful local merchant, Ji had few opportunities to enter the family business despite his incredibly precise mind and hand. Instead of joining the Clergy he decided to expand the business in the black market. Earning his own unsavory reputation Ji managed to save a small fortune during the last days before the siege ended, but lost an eye to the crossfire of a fire mage. He spent most of his fortune to finding materials that would counter mages, and acquired by any means necessary almost all the known information on alchemy in the Continent.
Other: A devout believer in Athira. Has no issue keeping this hidden.
