History of Characters

Please note that this is really for my own purpose of nostalgia, to see my progress in character development and to cringe at my own creations. Feel free to cringe with me if you like.

Sadly I've deleted some of my character profiles due to withdrawing from rps and forgetting to record them. So I had more characters than what's shown here. These characters are sorted by date.

If you've noticed how all my character's names start with a 'K', then you certainly are an observant one. This is because 'K' is my favourite letter and also corresponds with my favourite number.

Whatever Knutik had planned flew right out the window when a loud boom was heard as a battle-ready lady busted in 'guns' blazing. Eyes widened like saucers, he shot from his spot like a bullet knocking over his seat and glass which shattered on the floor. In his panic he bumped into that cursed vase, breaking it again before he dashed into a wall and melded into the shadows, hiding. He only appeared as a large black patch on the wall with shadowy mist emanating from it.

It didn't seem like he'd be coming out of there on his own for a while after that scare.
I hope you guys don't mind my sometimes long posts. When you play a character that doesn't speak, you gotta focus on the details quite a bit, heheh.

Knutik held his hands together in what could only be an attempt at being polite as he tried to patiently wait for his orange juice. You'd think the simple pleasure of drinking orange juice was extremely rare for him considering he looked like a kid in a candy store... well you know if that kid looked like a monster from a living nightmare. When the glass was placed and the lovely lady said her piece, Knutik conjured some shadows to form into a straw and sipped happily. He didn't even care where it was going but it tasted delicious.

He was occupied finishing the last of his beverage when he heard someone speak in his direction. "Well met." A slightly muscular looking man had taken a seat at the counter. Knutik looked over his side wondering if he was speaking to someone else only to find nobody. He aptly replied with a small wave of his hand before the guy started ordering pizza. He distractedly watched him closely, not use to being this close to actual humans before, and hadn't noticed that he was out of orange juice until he accidentally knocked the glass over, the straw still in his 'mouth'. A windy sigh escaped him before he placed the glass right side up again and made his conjured shadow straw of deadly terror disappear.

The shade looked around, admiring the tavern's interior before realizing he was beginning to feel slight boredom. He didn't know just how long he was willing to stay here since the sight of so many people around him that could see him almost felt overwhelming. Though of course if worse comes to worse he could always hide in that vase. He once again began to watch the human seated next to him and pondered a mischievous thought.

@SkeletonShadow

Knutik blinked a few times before realizing the lady was talking to him. He frantically scrambled nervously to look through the menu, cheeks blushing a green hue that matched his eyes. He's not used to being spoken to. After a few seconds the shade pointed to something under beverages with smiling eyes. Orange Juice.
@Dark Light

Knutik was occupied trying to hide his embarrassment when a man spoke out, he lifted his head in response and followed his gaze to where he was pointing. The vase he'd broken looked as if it was replaced with an exact replica, the broken shards not in sight. A wisp of wind sounded in fascination as he flew over to the vase, picking it up carefully and examining it with curious eyes. Not a scratch, chip or crack seen.

He eyed the vase, considering adding it to his collection of treasures before gently putting it back. A wave of relief washed over him and he felt a lot better. Confidence regained, Knutik floated over to the bar where others seemed to be hanging out and took a 'seat', neatly folding his hands on the bar surface and stiffly avoiding eye contact with the others as he waited patiently for service.
[Outside]

Floating closer, Knutik came to realize that the structure is in fact a tavern. He's seen it once before a long time ago and heard quite a bit about it, however he was too shy to enter last time. The shade held his hands to his chest, uncertain whether he should enter, thinking what would happen if he did, who would be in there, is he even allowed in there, would he be intruding? He floated a little closer to the door hesitantly as he considered his options. He then began to circle the building many times before making his decision.

Clawed fingers shakily reached for the door and slowly opened it, the interior of the tavern being revealed making it look so much more cozy than being out in the forest. A warm feeling reached out to Knutik, as if a gentle hand was welcoming him inside. He stepped passed the frame and closed the door.

[Tavern]

There was a strange man in a suit a little ways in front of him, and many others sitting about and chatting. The shade hugged his hands to his chest again and looked around nervously before deciding to make his way to a table. He bumped into something to his left and the shadowy tendrils on his back spiked up like a startled cat when a loud crash rang out. He looked to the floor to see a shattered vase. The shade panicked looking around frantically before lowering himself to gather up the pieces in his hands. He didn't know what to do with the pile of shards in his hands when he had them and looked around awkwardly before he decided to just place the pile where the vase had been on the stand.

He partially covered his face as he floated over to a table in the corner and took a seat. Not even 5 seconds inside and he had already broke something.

[Forest Ruins]

A gust of wind, only light enough to blow away a feather, sweeped through the trees. A dark figure peaking from the branches of one in particular. Green fiery eyes surveying the old long forgotten ruins within his favourite forest, searching for something. Then suddenly a glint among the rocks, and he floats down from the tree to investigate it, his eyes leaving a green trail. A necklace, laced with small ruby pearls. He outstretches his arm to pick up this newfound treasure, only to suddenly flinch back in shock, hands shielding his face from attack when something came out of no where with a sudden loud flutter, startling him. He peaked through his long pointed fingers to find a raven had announced it's presence, perched upon a rock in front of the necklace. A minor obstacle to the shiny treasure.

A breathless sigh sounds from the shade. He shooed away the raven which sounded it's displeasure before flying away. He picks up the necklace and opens a small portal before tossing it in, a momentary view of a large pile of trinkets and items before the portal closes, then proceeded to continue his search for more treasures as he floated and weaved his way through the forest. Moments later while examining one of the ruin's shapely stones, something catches his eyes in the distance beyond some trees; a structure of much familiarity. Only silence played out as he tilted his head in curiousity before floating towards it for a closer look.
Knutik

"You look lost little child."
A mysterious wraith-like shadow creature which at first glimpse would seem like something you'd find wandering a haunted location or hiding under your bed at night. Three clawed fingers, a fading torso ending in a wispy tail, piercing green glowing eyes and a physical form that looks akin to black fire, one would think this was a villain you'd see in a children's book.

Age:
Immortal

Gender:
Male (Self proclaimed)

Rich or Poor:
He doesn't understand/care for currency

Occupation:
Being a necessary evil.

Powers/Abilities:
Green (neutral colour) fire, shadows/darkness, black magic, shape-shifting, flying, phasing through material, having no soul makes it impossible for him to die or for it to be taken,

Personality:
Knutik can be very laid-back, very reserved or very aggressive and sometimes believes he's above consequences, that is until the harsh reality hits him. His personality varies extremely according to whatever emotion becomes most prominent for him which can be as ever changing as the weather or even influenced by the negative emotions of others around him. It's whatever this prominent emotion is that determines whether he's shy, fearful, dangerous or cocky and can be quite unpredictable. Knutik often hoards valuables he finds/steals and is extremely protective of his collection. Losing just one of his treasures can spurn him into an infuriated and agitated state. His treasures are safely hidden within his own created realm known as "The Neath".

Physiology:
Knutik is a physical being with powers, thus you can touch, feel and see him. He stands at 6 feet and 10 inches from head to wispy tail in his original wraith form and can be described to appear as though black fire is constantly but slowly dissipating off of him. Gravity affects him like any other physical thing, it's his use of magic that makes him fly. He is called a spirit because he is an animated being that doesn't inhabit a body, which lead many of his previous worshipers to believe him to be a stray soul trapped on the physical plane, which isn't actually true. He is physically made up of solid shadows that feel like cold silk to the touch and his 'heart' which behaves very much like a core is made up of fire. This fire is what produces the coloured glow to his eyes and mouth like a furnace within. Knutik isn't sure himself what the core is for since no matter what he shape-shifts into, it's always there. The only time it's not present is when he melts into the shadows. He discovered that the core transports to his realm during those times.

Likes:
Shiny objects, knick-knacks, treasures, gemstones, ancient relics, tormenting humans, solace, tasty food, stealing, destroying things, fire,

Dislikes:
Water, bright lights, being startled, losing his treasures, being unable to obtain a potential treasure, boredom, people who don't get easily intimidated, people who aren't scared of him, people who can defeat him, positive energy, 'heroes',

Weaknesses/Flaws:
Focused light burns away his shadows, sensitivity to emotions can make him unpredictable, easily caught off guard, white/light magic can temporarily destroy him, extreme positive energy given off by emotions like joy, excitement or happiness is like poison to him and actually reverses his existence on a small degree.
