Ohhoo. Best hope the Order doesn't visit, they would easily thrive on your world. Also they love Emprah, so any dishonor is ground for immediate Spartan charge followed by a Spartan kick off a cliff.
[Yorva, Human Controlled System] [Stability: Decreasing] [Situation: Escalating Rebellion]
Adene City Io, Market District
A human majority city, with only a ten percent Yorvian population. "Irritating." was Adene's only thought.
It was a cold morning, 9:00 AM with the sun shining down onto the city as the sky was cloudless. Birds hopped about in the town square, picking at food as people walked by carrying bags filled with fruit. The stalls and vendors active and alive as people would come and go, money in hand and quickly spent. In the middle of the square was a religious structure, cathedral-like in looks, with a stature of the Emporium of Man's leader- the holy 'Thorisan' gracing the city with his appearance in steel form -at the sides of the religious structure. It is here that the humans held much faith in their Emperor, selling goods from Human cargo ships, human workers gathering around and talking to each other, human youth waiting for local transport to move them back home...So many humans.
Never in her life had she seen a city of her own kind, Yorvians. They existed beyond her, out of reach and unable to be accessed. There were many times where the officers would assure that somehow, one day, she would. But it always got farther and farther away, every time she left that dreadful bunker it'd be right into a vehicle, then in a box, then mailed somewhere halfway across this hostile planet into a human city, killing a guard or two and hiding until she could walk about without suspicion. Well, any more suspicion then the regular human already has.
"Adene." Her earpiece buzzed.
It was the same voice of the same man who stayed the calm under every circumstance. A communications officer that was never seen, the guiding and impossibly intelligent voice that gave all orders and all directions, no more living than she was, just another person working towards the freedom of this planet. There was no room for friendship or small talk, nor even anything deep and philosophical.
"Go ahead." Adene replied emptily, watching a young human pull her mother over to a stall selling little toy soldiers, carved from wood by the vendor himself, who was happy to sell them. They were so innocent in nature. It hurt to watch. Adene would swiftly look away from the human populous and blankly ahead, moving through with her hands in her pockets, wearing a long coat that hid her body. The milita stationed at the square would be watching Adene and the few Yorvians that lived here undoubtedly, their hatred of the native populace knowing no bounds.
"Everyone is in position, plant the devices. When it commences, you know what to do." Her earpiece buzzed once more, a silent Yorvian who walked by her gave a light nod and kept on walking. Every Yorvian in this city held some sort of hatred for humanity, every week had its raid, every month had its executions. It wasn't hard to inspire a open rebellion, all they needed was a signal, a very big and loud signal that every news channel would focus on for views. Sure, the humans would deal with the propaganda that'd coat this event as a little mistake by construction workers, but the Yorvians in this city would know the truth...
Well, so the Liberation Front thought.
Adene kept moving on up to the walls of the cathedral, feeling the stone with a single hand as any human nearby would quickly begin to shift uncomfortably, moving away from the wall and glaring as Adene walked past. There were so many of them, crowds of them, varied in nature but all with the same disgust. Some spitting at her while others cursed insults. So common. Her hands would slip back into her pockets, feeling the metallic rectangular device covered in a strange substance. That substance was a perfect combination of chemicals that'd keep this device attached to stone, the same stone this cathedral was made out of. Once most of the humans had looked away and moved on, she'd place a single device on the wall, moving off to walk around the entrance of the cathedral.
Cameras adjusted and watched her carefully, the guards of the cathedral hissing and spouting insults loudly.
The insults were not unexpected for quite a few reasons, though the most important was their 'glorious' carpet- a long red one that extended out from the cathedral, which she walked on to get over to the other side and around the corner. Some of the soldiers would chant and get joined by fellow humans, who were quick to back off once she disappeared again and was far from their sight.
Once around to the other wall, she'd plant the device and walk off toward the street right near the square, walking across once the road was clear of moving traffic and heading toward a nearby store on the corner of a building facing the square, owned by a Yorvian himself.
"So, how goes today?" the store owner asked, patiently waiting outside the entrance while another Yorvian managed the cash register inside.
"Pretty good." Adene stated calmly, lifting up a detonator in front of him, clicking it.
In a single second grey clouds covered the square, encompassing all that could be seen while stone debris flew around, smashing into the statues, cowering humans and nearby stalls. Nearby buildings would have their windows broken from the sheer blast, meanwhile the cathedral groaned loudly. Guards nearby would rush into the cloud, human civilians running the opposite, quickly bunching up under the shadow of ceilings and behind cars or pillars. It wasn't long before the cathedral itself collapsed in on itself, followed by an even larger cloud of debris pushing outward. Adene and the store owner would walk inside and quickly close the door while the outside was filled with panic...
In the following minutes a gunfight would ensue, between Yorvian rebels and the human defenders, which then would swiftly end in human victory thanks to a their superior firepower and weaponry. Those who could hide did, embracing the beginner of the soon-to-be war that'd kick off in Io, one of the largest cities on this planet.
The silence, the cease-fire between Yorvian and Human cities, and all that waiting. The suspense was finally gone, war had come back home.
Type of Government: Authoritarian Dictatorship/Rebellious Movement
Description of Government: The Yorvian Liberation Front is a collection of the (steadily becoming) humanless cities on Yorva. Its entire society is influenced by racial supremacy, nationalism and the idea of a one nation, one people. Originally a rebellion, the Liberation Front has attracted the disenfranchised, the rich, the political and the violent. From here onward it has been led by one leader, a charismatic and caring man who is determined to see Yorva liberated, though his ideals of peace are that alone, ideals. Everyone surrounding him and the massive mobs of eager youth are unfortunately more inclined on a human extinction.
Main race: Yorvians are humanoid aliens, with two arms, two legs, two hands, five fingers etc. They have sleek fur covering their body so sleek that it is often mistaken as some sort of skin. Despite the fur, they can also have human-like hair grow from their heads, which has the same variation as humans. They have snouts that extend out from their face, as well as two animal-like ears that flicker at the top of their head. Due to rampant modification from this species, a lot of their appearances do not follow logical evolution patterns and can be incredibly varied in shape, size and color.
Minority races: Humans
Demography of Yorva: 55% Humans, 45% Yorvian
Religion: N/A
Culture:
Originally, prior to the Human annexation, Yorva was a very different place.
Hedonism was rampant, pleasure was all that mattered and genetic modification was everywhere. Yorvians were desperate to make themselves to seem more beautiful, with advanced technologies giving them long lives, ample food and harvesting their bountiful- if dangerous -planet for more materials. Architecture was about being intriguing visually, the arts from music to traditional painting seeped into daily life, great epics written on a annual basis to be read and enjoyed thoroughly. For what others may seem as a cultural explosion was merely yearly life for Yorvians.
But all this had to come to a close with humanity's annexation. Much has been changed.
The past is not all lost- it still stands, though serving many different purposes now. Yorva was notorious for being the "Brothel of Messier 33" in social circles after it's easy annexation, and has received much traffic since. Yorvians, with all their modifications and treasured culture, had been degraded into a place of drugs and R&R for soldiers to relax after their great crusades into the unknown.
And now, once again, the culture is coming to shift- the Liberation Front is undeniably changing Yorvians into something much more violent. They care solely for themselves now, seeing their beauty as a sign that they were meant to rule the stars, their artists and architects making stylish military uniforms and advanced vehicles with a powerful punch. The people are even more of a weapon, for the hedonism is no longer there, replaced by an even stronger need to kill off any and all humans, to out breed them, to rebuild and conquer all that is around them.
In this era, Yorvians have passed their Age Of Ecstasy- it is time for the Age Of War.
History:
The Rule of the Empire was a brutal destruction of neither people nor cities, but one of identity.
Yorva was one of the first worlds to be annexed, or that is what is taught in schools. Humanity came to this planet and have swiftly annexed it without a single fire being shot, for the Yorvians and hedonistic behavior were eager to interact with a new species from the depths of space, happily accepting the terms of their administration being replaced as long as they were able to live in their bliss and pleasure. Unknown to them, the Emporium of Man's administration team sent to manage Yorva were not of the trustworthy sort, or perhaps the Emporium never planned to follow the deal all along.
Yorva had become like every other world after the brutal colonization by man, Yorvians becoming little more than a object and the planet seen as a world of endless pleasure, technologies confiscated for human study and use. Yorvians were second-rate citizens on their own world, beaten, abused and unable to resist without facing genocide from a flick of a switch. And the natives, despite being their attractive looks, were to die off- they were aliens after all, and humanity had rightful claim over this world. As the population of Yorva grew in humanity's favor, tension began to mount, fights in the streets breaking out. Obviously, humanity won every time.
A collection of Yorvians with great trust from the human administration were signal the open war with a great betrayal. Using a vat-grown test subject and gene-modifying technologies, they created incredibly skilled soldiers, enough to cause a series of strikes that would loosen Human control on Yorva.
Disgusted and horrified, the Planetary Governor of Yorva would swiftly wipe out these advanced soldiers at all costs- and the costs were quite high. A few cities have fallen under Yorvian control, while a single one of these vat-grown soldiers survived to fight another day. The war for civilization itself on this world will spell disaster no matter what happens, short term or long term, there is only doom and death for the future.

This is the leader of the rebellion, Tul Konstler. He is fragile, cares too much for his people and loves too much about living, so much so that he lives in complete fear of death or loss. I have met him many times before, do not make a mistake by listening to his words- a master manipulator is his greatest feat, promising peace and democracy but in reality, we've all seen the footage, the Yorvians wish to wipe humanity out.
While his location remains unknown, you, the defense forces, will be locking down every house belonging to Yorvian collaborators to our rule. They cannot be trusted, Tul's influence is great among his species, for their minds are exceedingly small and so easily tricked. If anyone has any information on him, find them, capture them and interrogate through the most violent means possible. We need to send a message to this rebellion in blood.
If you find his family, you know what to do. And remember to film it and send it to a broadcasting team.

Originally one of the most trustworthy Yorvians to Kuzar's rule over Yorva, Ja'la was apart of the Alien Defense Institution, learning to support the human military by serving as a tactical adviser and logistical officer. From his early teens to late seventies, he has accumulated enough experience to be a kill-on-sight target once he betrayed, knowing the ins-and-outs of the Emporium of Man's more basic weaponry and tactics.
He was convinced to work with the rebellion during the fall of the first city, captured by the elite vat-grown squad while the chaos ensued. Realizing that he and his people were to eventually be replaced, Ja'la Uris is now at the forefront of the idea of a human extinction, fighting a brutal war with any means and using all tactics and weapons at his disposal as General of the Liberation Front's army.
He stands at an average height, well built and with broad shoulders. His eyes are a brown, with no human-like hair and brown fur.
As it stands, there are little to no ships that the Liberation Front controls. Sao seeks to change that.
Sao is the oldest of all the important leaders of the Liberation Front, and has been harassing the Emporium of Man for her entire life. Despite this, she has no experience in commanding a actual ship- though her knowledge on them is endless, the Yorvians currently are struggling to wrangle control over mere corvettes. While planning and coming up with ways for General Uris's troops to board vessels stuck on the ground, Sao also manages communications and intelligence, gathering and going through material that could be useful in the fight against the EoM.
She is quite old and lost any youth in her looks, with short grey hair, a thin and delicate body and two brown eyes.
Description of Military: The military might of the Liberation Front stands in it's infantry more so than anything else.
Having been waging a war for years that has finally mounted into a full blown conflict, the footsoldiers of the Front are guerrilla experts, able to hide in the tiniest of crevices in wait to ambush. Their aim is poor, but their morale is endless, fueled by the desire to have a galaxy without humanity to boss them around. Equipment varies wildly from soldier to soldier, some wearing looted armor stolen off the standard EoM soldiers and using their weapons, while others use homemade smoke grenades while wearing jackets and masks. Despite their variety, they're nonetheless dangerous when put together and eager for bloodshed.
Battles are fought in two different ways- either hit and run, or full blown riot/Stalingrad-esque charging. The latter only occurs when they feel confident enough to take a city, while the first is the most common. In hit and runs, the whole point is attrition where an explosive will be detonated, a patrol/vehicle will be destroyed and a firefight will ensue where all humans are to be eliminated. Once that is done or when human reinforcements are soon to arrive, the Yorvians will pull back and retreat into the urban mess that is their colossal cities.
Navy wise, ships will be designed in being easy to produce and control.
Frigates and corvettes will be cheap, easy to destroy but much easier to modify, given the ability for customization and repairs in void combat. They'll be mass produced, but from there upward things get expensive, with typical ship classes thrown out the window. Much of the Liberation Front's naval warfare is to be based off of boarding craft, with the escorts protecting colossal transport ships armed with little void-worthy weapons. Instead, these transport ships will be carrying all the ground troops, who will launch themselves out of boarding craft and bury into the enemy's hull, filling the ship with waves of eager combatants.
Technology: Yorva used to be a place of advanced modifications and bright minds, it has since degraded below the the EoM's level thanks to most of it being stolen. Nowadays, the Liberation Front's most advanced minds are focused on reproducing the vatgrown soldiers rather than advancing technology, so most weapons and equipment will be straight up stolen from the EoM, reverse engineered for Yorvian use.
Additional: The Yorvian homeworld has incredibly brutal wildlife and vegetation, almost the entire world is jungle for a reason. The entire population- both human and Yorvian -live in walled cities, passage between this cities is only done by air or in large heavily armed convoys.
@6slyboy6 Thanks! I'll see about posting the sheet into the Characters tab and getting a IC post up.
Edit: Aaand posted. Sorry for a less leader-focused post, though they'll be focused on next I'm sure, just need an event to kick everything off and it'll get into all the politics that ensue. "Politics" More like panicking that they're biting off more then they can chew against humanity.

I probably should've asked some questions before tossing ideas around, but this is what I got. Hope you like, though I'll change as needed.
Was here before, long time ago though- back at it again.
Been roleplaying for a long time. My writing is always split between action and character development, typically reliant on getting beat up relentlessly numerous times, and suffering a lot, then socializing a lot before getting beat up again. Then repeat until a victory/plot point appears. Pain makes you stronger, right? Right?
I'll probably be hanging around the Nation RP section (Specifically sci-fi threads that have a mix of fantasy in them) and Casual Roleplay, I just don't have the stamina to do a ton of paragraphs anymore unfortunately, though two/three are my "minimum" [that shifts a bit] And you can probably guess I like the return of Samurai Jack with my icon and all that. Season 5 is glorious so far.
Anyways, hi! Good to meet you all, hope you don't mind me.
