Ayame Izumi stands tall at 5'7 with bright lilac eyes,she keeps her long black hair in a ponytail or a bun when she puts on her pilot suit thanks to being from Venus her body is broadly built being built bigger then a Martian or a Lunite. Her family heirloom, a gold necklace is on her at all time, even though she is a woman she is wears men's clothing more often then woman's as she wore mostly boy clothes back in the Habitat as all of her had me downs were boys clothes from her older cousins.

Biography:
Born Year 476 R.C. on the Venusian habitat of Gibraltar and like most she lived in poverty living off a pittance her family made thanks to life on a Habitat. She lived with a large family so she never was alone, but her life was rough, being in a poor part of the habitat.
There were three things in life that kept her going; she loved to learn, enjoyed music always wanted to play an instrument, and Mobile-Worker as she was in aw of them and wanted to pilot one when she young. She did her best to learn a lot in the field of engineering thanks to her fascination of mobile workers from those who could teach her even if it wasn't something they were supposed to do. Thanks to the John Hoffman Outreach Program her dream came true and was able to leave for mars saying goodbye to her family at the age of 16. Arriving at mars she was awestruck by how much green she saw, she knew of grass and trees but never thought to see so much.
Here in MIT she had her academic limit, she was barely able to keep up compared to the other students but when she was given a chance to pilot a Mobile worker she jumped on the chance. Finding she was a natural she would pilot one as much as she could and decided to focus her studies on Mobile Workers. Seeing her abilities and her grades barely passing she was given a chance to sign up as a Mobile Suit pilot thanks to a military recruiter.
Training was not kind on her being one of only a few Venusian in her group, but it did not deter her from showing her worth and was shown to be a great pilot, she may have not been a leader but from hearing stories about Victor Galahad in the Deimos Military Institute a Venusian who excelled gave her inspiration to keep going through the training.
Once she graduated training she was sent to the Venus sphere as part of the 16th battle group and her first sortie was the seige of Gibraltar. Having her home assaulted she fought ferociously to a point were she was gonna go on a suicide run leaving her squad behind, but before she went on her suicide run she encounter into Victor and his depleted squad, there with renewed vigor she helped him carry out his counter offensive against the large Pirate fleet. For her actions at the seige she was award a medal for heroism along the other survivors, she was given the nickname Rookie as she was the greenest, but after some time it took upon the name Rook named after the chess piece and soon became her call-sign.
After her actions in Gibraltar she joined Victor in his Fighting Fifths carrying out anti pirate operations till the end of the conflict inflicting as much damage as she could against the pirate hoping to wipe them all out for their actions against her home. She is currently part of the MS pilot contingent of the HMS-Nyx which has been redeployed to Venus amidst the rising tension.
Skills and Abilities:
Venesian- Being a Venusian her body is a lot hardier being able to take a hit that would send other to the ground, she can also handle higher G-Forces that could make a martian of Lunite pass out from
giving her the upper hand in combat being able to pull off more dangerous maneuvers most other couldn't handle.
MIT Education-
Thanks to her time in M.I.T. and her childhood fascination she found her true calling as a mobile suit pilot but she never forgot what she learned from school and could come up with plenty of tweaks to her machine do most maintenance on her own and if needed join in the engineers and mechanic with repairs having a great understanding of mobile suit design and construction.
Military Training-
Given her time in Venus she grew up hardy and the Military only made her hardier, going through basic training she picked up the basic of being a soldier and trained in most forms of firearms and military equipment.
Mobile Suit Pilot –
A natural pilot since her time at M.I.T., she is an aggressive pilot so that her opponent has little time to react and counter attack but she can handle all type of weapons her machine is equipped with. During her time in the military she has accrued a confirmed kill count of six mobile suits and one pirate ship.

Old Family Necklace-
Said to be an owner from an ancestor from earth its form has faded a bit from rust and age. Its shape is of three triangles in a form of a triangle in a circle and is one of the only keepsakes from her family when she left Venus for Mars, she has it on her at all times.Acoustic Guitar-
As a young Girl she enjoyed all sorts of music but the Habitats in Venus didn't have many good conditioned instruments and those that were were always out of her reach as she could never afford them. When she came to mars and had enough money she bought an acoustic guitar mainly because it was easier then a piano to move around and was for the most part easier to play as well.Strengths and weakness:
With her background in MW engineering even as short as it was she can be deployed multi purposely if she needs to be, doing field repairs in the field or helping engineers with modifications or installations and if need be translate tech jargon but any in all newer technology is out of her knowledge range.
She may be an ace but she is not anywhere near close to those of elite pilots but strive to reach their level in combat but at times would overexert herself.
She has a drive to succeed at something even at the cost of her life which sometimes lead her into trouble.
She owes Victor a large debt of gratitude and is willing to do anything for him and look up to him with the greatest admiration she can hold for someone. She is willing to be the first one to deploy and the last to return to make sure his objective are secure, but she is unsure weather or not her admiration made her blindly loyal or an unrequited love wanting his attention and can be a time something she has a hard time dealing with and does her best to hid it from everyone.
She is also torn between her duty to the Zern Empire a Martian lead government and being a Venusian who is being oppressed by said government and can at times have her at odd whether or not she feels like she belongs anywhere and it can show when she interacts with others in which she can be standoffish and speak before she thinks about the consequences of what she is saying as this is a very sensitive topic which has led to fist fights with other soldiers which has led to her halt in her rise through the ranks.
