Hmm! Since Haru and Eikichi are both more social/popular, I think I'll be angling for the "delinquent with a bad rap/stay away from him" flavour of a jerk with a heart of gold, rather than the "player/popularity-has-gone-to-his-head-jock". Also, for some reason, I see cats liking him. He's doing his best to ignore them but well, cats do like those who leave them alone, so... there's tons of strays he's ended up feeding, because they just won't leave him alone, and what the hell else is he supposed to do now?? Oh shit did that one just have KITTENS? Is he a foster-father now, panic?!

I forgot to share the romance tropes I like, so, off the top of my head, uhhh-- enemies/rivals to lovers, slowburn, will-they-wont-they, banter, opposites attract, bad boy/girl x good boy/girl, etc. Some of those are very contradictory so obv not all at once, ha, but yeah. Also don't mind love triangles/unrequited love and all the drama on that front, including a sad/bad/good but platonic ending for my dude if he does end up being the third wheel due to uneven numbers! So no worries there.

Also really liking everyone so far!
Ohhh, this is an interesting concept, and that's coming from someone who usually dislikes school settings, ha. Makes things feel much more real when the characters have various kinds of relationships with other PCs and not just a bunch of NPCs running around in the bg of a 1x1!

Unsure if you've room for more, and unsure whether I can commit, depending on how fast paced this'll be, but tentatively interested if you're still looking! I am trying to get back to the site/writing after a hectic life atm. I usually veer towards playing jocks/delinquents/jerks with a heart of--- well, if not gold, then like... uh, bronze? Someone who can be fixed develop as things progress.

Could also play a girl, if one's needed though!
Still here as well!
I've been planning an rp set in Feudal Japan myself, but won't have time to finish it or actually run it anytime soon-- so being able to be a player in one instead, oh man! My vote goes to Teohu, but am down for Ossaya too, considering the votes lean thataway rn.

As the icons began to glow, Elaeshor braced himself, resisting the urge to back away from the door. He still wasn't entirely convinced he'd gotten it right, and really preferred to avoid being struck by whatever magic worked hummed inside. Pride kept him rooted however, only allowing for the slightest step backwards as the door started to move — inward, thankfully, implying his deduction had indeed been correct,

Thank the Hells.

”Well then,” he began, turning to glance at his companions, when he noticed someone had snuck into their midst. An eccentric elf, not that were any other kind. Her timing was quite suspicious, and she sounded like she’d just stepped out of a play — or, perhaps, into one. Before Elaeshor could get a word in edgewise, she shrieked. The gunslinger flinched, his sensitive kitsune ears, hidden by his disguise as they were, hurting from the noise. What was she so—

Oh.

Water. Disgusting and reeking of sewage, gushed from the room they’d just opened. It wet his fine shoes, and for a moment Elaeshor was concerned it’d wash his smaller companions away. (They weren’t that small in truth, luckily.) Bopping in the water were items of various value and degrees of ruin, and the kitsune did not waste a moment trying to scoop up the scrolls if nothing else.

From the corner of his eye, he watched the elf. “You don’t appear particularly alarmed, Miss,” he noted, trying to spot anything else in need of rescue from the water, especially items small enough to slip into his sleeves without the notice of the others. “I take it you’ve some inkling of what might be going on here? We are on a potential rescue mission, my companions and I, so any help you could offer would be much obliged.”
I'll get a post up tomorrow, but feel free to beat me to it, if anyone wants to.
Was waiting for someone else to go first so I don't double up, but can go after Rush then!
Ooh, hope you had fun and ate some good food!

I think ideally we'd be a full group, but Digi hasn't been on for a while at least, so maybe continuing as three with the missing two being able to jump in later if/when they return would be the way to go?
So what's the plan?

Throughout their walk to their assigned meeting place — a small house packed to the brim with spooks — Silje had done her best to think about the Bier Fest, and the Bier Fest only. She was visibly in a foul mood — a rare sight to be sure — with her brows knit together tightly and mouth strained into something between an awkward smile and the beginnings of a frown. Silje didn't feel weird the way some of her comrades did, not able to read the situation beyond what it was on the surface. Rather, her anger had a much simpler explanation; she just really didn't want to hand off the princess.

But she had to. They had to. So, as to not earn a scolding, she tried to keep her thoughts strictly on the festival, lest she actually try and stop the hand off. After all, festivals were cool and fun, and it was doubtful they carried juice at all, so Justice would need to let her drink for once. She'd have a drinking contest with Valpal, heck, maybe even with Morde, and it'd be great. She and Gerard could play pranks on the festival goers. Ah, and she'd need to make sure Kali loosened up and had fun too, and Silje could only do that if she herself was happy. So. Happy thoughts.

By the time they entered Dirk's office and were forced to stand around while he and his dumb sunglasses whisper-interrogated the princess, the mist around Silje was crackling ever so lightly — a magical counterpart to a popping vein perhaps.

Happy thoughts.

Then, just as she was about to bid her teary farewell to Collette, the princess was suddenly and violently yanked away — as were all the colours in Silje's world. Gerard's telepathic sentence cut off. It felt as though one of Silje's senses had been shut off; her eyes closed or ears stuffed full of wax. In a heartbeat, the battlemage realized what that meant.

The Mist around them was gone.

But you couldn't truly keep it away, not forever. Some of it was already leaking back; a faint, barely visible hue framing her vision.

Then everything — everyone — burst into motion.

Her friends felled spook after spook so efficiently that Silje and her solitary handgun didn't really even need to get involved. Not yet. Colour crept along the blank walls, wafted through the air thick with gun powder. It wasn't enough yet; she couldn't work with Mist like this. It'd be like trying to paint a vivid scenery with diluted water colours. But soon. A moment, or two, or three, before she'd go and find Collette and Stupid Mr. Sunglass-Head.

And then, she'd no longer need to think happy thoughts.
