Current Sorry for the sudden absence, all! My power went out for a couple days (Along with 90 percent of southeast Michigan) and it only -just- came back.

I. AM. BACK. Sort of. Mostly. New job actually lets me check the guild from work sometimes, and I just have -NOTHING TO DO WITH MY LIFE ANYMORE-. So yeah. I'm around.

Hey! To those people I was trying to RP with, I apologize for my sudden disappearance. This is literally the first chance I've had to hop on again- And I've already gotta go. I WILL RETURN, ONE DAY!

Bio

This is just a brief description of my unique situation. Read it or do not: I put it here, as I mention later, because some people were asking a lot of questions, so I wanted to just put it out there, nice and blunt.

I'm a younger man with a penchant for writing. I won't share the story in its entirety, purely because it's personal, but a rough childhood lead to a 'splintering' of personalities. While I am not technically schizophrenic, nor do I have D.I.D, (Dis-associative identity disorder) my situation has been compared to both, with numerous (By now, eleven years later, a few hundred) individual splinters of personality in my head having taken shape as beings with individual personality and thought.

So basically I hear voices. And they become the characters with whom I write all that I create.

And no. The voices do -not- tell me to kill people. I do that myself.

But no, humor aside, the above is true, and is the reason I write. On a more specific note, it is -not- so bad that I am considered ill in any way. It's like having imaginary friends. I -know- they aren't real, and comprehend the boundaries between fantasy and reality with perfect clarity. But they each have their own personalities, their own thoughts. So if we RP, or talk for a while, and you occasionally hear me mention a character as if they're a person I know and speak to, this is why- I'm not just batshit insane.

Well, I am. But that's not the cause or a symptom.

I bring this up solely because a few people were asking a lot of questions. So, I dropped the story here! Feel free to ask about it, but don't expect any comprehensible reply half the time. It's incredibly hard to explain sometimes.

The above hider is just for people who want to know why I'm a little bit crazy. For all others, I'm a pretty simple guy: Writing  is my life. I have a job, and a social life to take care of- But writing is the most personal, the most intimate, and the most important thing I do with my time. Novels, roleplays, stories written for friends, a simple letter- It's something I just enjoy doing. It doesn't have to be long, or incredibly descriptive- Though sometimes it just might be. The placing of words into something permanent, something to be remembered- SOmething that people can read that will bring them to laugh and cry and feel, that will make them think and dream and draw them into a world other than our own: That is my goal in life.

So yeah let's RP bro. Or ma'am. Or friendo. Buddy pal kid mate love dude.

Alrighty I'm off work now. With no competition, it looks like Arrow is accepted, @Deserted! @Zapdos has shown interest in making a support character, so I'm talking that over with him. Once thats all taken care of, and possibly on my next day off- (Thursday. Bit of a wait, Sorry for that, but it's a late bloody job, and I sleep through most of the day.) QD's about right, the sicks knocked me firmly on my ass for a few days there. ^^; I'm still feeling pretty trashed, but I can at least start the ball rolling again.

SO! Between the two heroes of fury offered, I'm going to have to go with @FallenTrinity's Draeynar Hammerfist. @The Cook, this by no means says you're out completely, you could still try making a sheet for one of the other heroes. The hero of Light, Nature, and Magic all look pretty damn good, and given I do like them and it's already been nearly a week, are accepted. So that's @SuddenSardines, @AreaQD, and @fluorescent all ready to go.

@Deserted, while I do like Arrow, I'm not entirely certain on whether she'll match up well in the RP. But then, that might also just make for an interesting twist in things. If she doesn't see competition by the time I return home tonight, she's accepted.

And @Zapdos! Don't feel like we're all full up just yet. If you want to make a sheet for a supporting role, feel absolutely free to PM me! While I do love a small group, even heroes need allies sometimes, and I'm willing to take on as many as three supporting characters. (AKA, non-heroes, still probably badasses, or helpful in some awesome way.) And, while I don't wish to push Deserted out, the hero of shadow -is- technically still up for debate.

That looks good, Sar! Pretty much what I was hoping for- Enough to brutally judge carefully consider who gets who, without being obscene walls of text. So, if anybody needs a jumping off point for what their CS should vaguely look like, that's a good idea of it.

ALRIGHT! I'm still sick as hell, but it's at least survivable now. SO! What I'm posting here is the basic character skeleton- The sections that every hero will have. The specifics for each hero will be done later, over PMs, once I decide on who's who and what's what.

And so, the basics:

Name:

Race:

The playable races are- Human, wood elf, dark elf, dwarf, half-orc, half-elf.

Age:

Appearance:

Text description, image, or both.

Personality:

This doesn't need to be massive, but a basic rundown of their personality will help me to both place the character, and get a feel for your style of writing.

Hero of choice:

Which hero you're shooting for. If one character fits that roll more than another, I'll give it to them- So on and so forth until all slots are filled.

There's the basics! History, skills, inventory, and magic will be handled in detail once the hero choices have been made.
