"This is just my personal bakery. I come every half a year to open it for a month, then I head back to the main city.." He glanced to her, scrubbing away as he talked. He took a pan now that the bowls were all done. "I own the Petal Bread chains. The Floral bakery shops.. This is just a small homely shop I first started when I wanted to take baking seriously. I know all of the people in town and they know I open rarely.."

He set the pan aside, grabbing another. "As for you.. It's up to you what you want. I only have a couple more weeks here, but I don't mind dropping you off at a sanctuary on the way back to the city. It's one I trust explicitly so you'd be protected."

Rowan looked down at her, and gave a soft chuckle. "You can repay me by staying healthy and out of sight. I still need to figure out what I'm going to do with you when I have to leave." He leaned forward a little and went back to scrubbing. "If you need help, then I can take you somewhere that's like.. a private sanctuary, but I need to know if you want that."

A frown pulled at his lips. "I'm also a wolf and I don't want to cause unnecessary stress to you.." He glanced to her then back to what he was doing. "I'll make a few calls anyway and see what I can do.."

"I already told you at the house, I don't need help, and I told you that we would wait so I know exactly what needed to be cleaned." He set the bowl in the connected sink and started on the next one they were standing at. He was quick, scrubbing purposefully and quickly then put it with the other.

There was a soft chuckle behind her. "I already told you, you didn't have to start yet.." He set all the trays down next to her on top of all the others. It was thankfully another good day and he sold out again. He then moved behind her and leaned over, taking the bowl from her and scrubbing it himself, just standing behind her and hovering.

The wolf waited for the other wolf to be out of sight before he turned and ushered her into the back. He gave a soft sigh of relief, hands on her shoulders as they looked face to face. He then finally looked to her, and stood. "Still have a few hours left for the shop, then we'll go back.. and you'll want to explain things for me, little one." He brushed his fingers against her cheek before moving back into the front and pocketing the picture.

Rowan watched the man move forward, letting his arms rest at his sides. He tilted his head a little and looked to the picture on the counter. "Bunny folk? There aren't many of those around." He looked up and gently slid the picture back. "Can't say I've seen her though. Which clan are you from? I'll send a message over if I do come across her. Can't have something so fragile wandering about." He flashed the man his canines in a grin.

Rowan paused, brows raised. "Says the one with the wounded foot." He reached over her, putting the trays back and then grabbing the last two. "I've been doing this every day, little one. I'm just sore because I haven't done it in a while." He chuckled and put the last two trays away before looking up at the bell jingle.

He pulled her behind him, hiding her behind his large form from whoever had entered the shop. "What can I do for you, sir?"

He looked to her, eyes concerned before he slowly let her have the weight of it. He then quickly dropped his head and reached further into the display case. He fiddled with something and a soft pop sounded before he came back out and took the shelf back. He eased it down with her, then let it go, drawing her hands away. Once it seemed fine, he sighed, slumping to the floor. "Ahhhh.."

He gave a weak chuckle. "Thanks, you're a life saver." He ruffled her hair after he stood back up and started putting the pans back in their spots.

Rowan shifts a little when he hears the wince. Very slowly, he lowers himself to his knees, still holding the shelf so she can reach it without leaning over him. He glances down to her feet and gives a small frown to himself. Once the trays were unloaded though, he shifted a little. "Put your hands under here. I just need a moment and then I will take it back."

There isn't anyone in the front of the shop. Rowan is nearly all the way in his case, back hunched a little as he.. seems to be holding the shelf up. "Little one! Ah.. sorry to make you come out. I need you to take all the trays off this shelf. It's about to fall from one of the holders slipping. That'll ruin all the stuff we made. Just stick them on the counter behind you."
