Full Name: Kora Mari Nørrevinter

Nicknames/Aliases: The Viking, Red

Age: 28

Gender: Female

Gift: --Berserkrgang: A gift passed down from the warriors of Norse tales, Kora is able to enter a state that massively increases her physical ability and makes her impervious to pain. The berserk state takes her already impressive strength and endurance and removes the limits placed upon it by the body's natural mechanisms of self-preservation. Her heartrate spikes, her core temperature soars, and her secondary ability goes haywire. She is able to decimate most obstacles in her path, and shrug off even major injury.

These effects are temporary however, and the backlash can be quite severe.

-Chemical Energy Combustion: Adapted cells on Kora's skin are able to rapidly convert sugar in her blood into extremely high heat. Her hands will become superheated and often able to combust flammable material by touch and cause severe burns, however more destructively she can project this heat out in forceful bursts that can flung opponents back, causing great damage.

Loyalty: Erubesco, Knight

Description: : Kora is, shall we say,a rather distinct individual. Over six and a half feet tall, with wild, wavy red hair and pale skin, she comes across as pretty intimidating at first glance. And for many she only becomes more intimidating fro there.

Kora speaks with a distinct accent, closest to Norwegian, and is able to speak in English and Norwegian, having been born in the Troms region of Norway. She tends to shout when annoyed, or excited, or trying to emphasize, so she'd rather hard to ignore.

Clothing-wise, most of the time Kora has little interest in dressing up, only tending to don anything very feminine when pressed. Most of the time she exists in a T-shirt and cargo pants.

Personality:
Kora is defined mostly be being quite...intense. In pretty much all ways. If she is angry she is screaming and shouting and breaking things. If she's happy she's also screaming and shouting and breaking things. Most extremes of emotion seem to manifest in destruction of some form, and when she isn't doing any of these she's often listening to far-too-loud heavy metal music or drinking other staffers under the table. She can...grate on people a little.

Kora has a serious trouble controlling her temper, and struggles not to fly into a rage at trivial matters.

Skills:
-Very skilled hand-to-hand fighter and able to tank damage unlike almost any other.
-Unflinching in the face of danger.
-Unwavering loyalty and tenacity means she is very unlikely to give up.

Weaknesses:
-Her tenacity often leads her to her refusing to admit that things are too much for her to handle.
-Her generations of selective breeding have left her prone to many illnesses, and had resulted in a massively shortened lifespan, about 30 years.
-Kora has little sense of finesse or sophistication which tends to leave her rather looked down upon in Erubesco society.

Brief History: Kora is offspring of one of the oldest known gifted bloodlines, dating back to protogermanic in northern pre-roman Europe. The Berserkers. This ability runs in her family, and has been ruthlessly cultivated by the Norrevinter family throughout history, to the point that the family is rumoured to have interbred to maintain the purity of the blood within it.

This has resulted in a line of gifted bred for war. Strong, tall, hardy and excelling at athletic feats they're imposing enough even without the use of powers.
This comes at a price however. The questionable methods of maintaining their purity have resulted in illness and defects, with the average lifespan being little more than thirty.

Kora's own father, Ren, died from this family curse when Kora herself was only about fifteen years old. As a result she was shipped over to attend formal training in order to take up his role. From there, she became an Erubescan Knight.

Other: -Rarely seen without her mjolnir pendant.
Hi! Imma probably grab an Erubesco character and probably some others as I go.
@The Narrator Yep, go ahead. =)
@ScoundrelQueen Yes on Missy!
Oren scratched a few readings down on her notes.

Whilst people tended toward the more technological, she was a child of the 1920's, and had a measure of mistrust for anything too non-tangible. She had learned the usage of computers as a necessity rather than out of any kind of appreciation for the things. Most of her research notes existed in paper form and were backed up digitally, to make it easier to compile them into the data she was after.

Oren was attempting to create proper scientific studies on the cryptid species and document their abilities in concrete terms. SCION allowed a unique opportunity for that. Though the sample size was little and the participants were...

A knock on the door.

The vampress sighed, her distaste rising when the individual on the other side of the door spoke up.

As much as she was not happy about it, it was increasingly clear that she was going to have to address this directly to avoid any further problems.

The door swung open and Oren regarded the figure of Ashley with a weary disdain. Entirely the opposite of someone old before their time, Oren had the rarely-seen look about her of a person who had been old inside for a long time, but lacked the weathered face to properly express it.

Trevon. Vampire. Hunter's Moon.

She supposed she shouldn't be surprised.

"At the risk of sounding condescending,"
The researcher began, casually scratching off a few things on her note paper as she stood in the doorway,
"You're not going to have much luck asking me when I'm not the person making the noise."

Somewhere through the wall there could be heard the scratching and snarling of the wolf that had caught vampire scent and was not handling this gracefully.

"I could open the seal if you'd like to have a word with the 300lb of wolf there, perhaps tell it your problems with its behaviour. aside from that all I can suggest is that you deal with it and understand that my work is just as important as yours."
Her dark grey gaze flickered up for a moment to hold eye contact.

"Will that be all?"
@Spinosaurus Yup, still going.
@GrizzTheMauler Terran looks fine, that's a yes!
@GrizzTheMauler Yep! IC has started but apps are still very much welcome!
@urukhai Yes on Zeros! Looks great.

Full Name: Dinah Jael Fox
Nicknames/Aliases: Di, Tigger
Age:18
Gender: Female
Species: Human (Infected with a Wendigo.)
SCION Team/Rank: Trainee, Hunter's Moon

Description:
Di is a tall, athletic young woman, with greenish eyes and light brown hair that's usually tied back in an untidy french plait for practicality's sake. It's often ascessorised with leaves and moss.
She has a scattering of freckles across her skin and appears lightly tanned, mostly because she spends so often outside. Her clothing, assuming she has applied some, tends to be unrestrictive as much as is possible. She likes to construct accessories out of fur, bones and teeth.

Personality:
Dinah Fox is a person who has nearly always lived by her own rules.

Di is not a person to keep how she feels about anything to herself. She is outwardly affectionate to people she likes..to the point that a personal bubble doesn't seem to exist where she'd concerned. If she likes a person she'll flying tackle them and hug them to death as a greeting if she wants to. At the same time if she dislikes a person, she will not in the slightest bit hesitate about showing them the extent of that.

Possibly in a similar vein, Di could be seen as being rather...feral. She always has been that way. While many SCION women (and a few men) love pretty clothes, Di is a lot less concerned about it.
She also doesn't wear makeup. She was once persuaded to try wearing nail polish and ended up scraping it off with her teeth because she thought it made her nails feel odd. She had no concept of manners or formality. She eats pretty much everything with her hands...unless it's soup, then she'll just lift it up and drink it right out of the bowl. She sees nothing wrong with skinning game on the common room table. Di works on the basis that she's an animal, so she might as well act like one.

Despite this behaviour, something that can often cause a bit of friction, Di has inherited the Fox family's innate sense of compassion. Seeing others suffer disturbs her enormously and she cannot stand unnecessary cruelty or sadistic behaviour. She tends to want to help others and be relied upon to take responsibility in situations.

Skills:
-Skilled tracker and hunter, is able to make snares and other traps to catch small animals (or possibly rather more dangerous things). Is able to both construct and use bows. Could survive in wilderness areas indefinitely provided she remained healthy and able to hunt.

- Wendigo powers. Due to being the host to a dark nature spirit, Dinah has a special connection to earth energies. Plants tend to grow in places where she stays for long. Animals tend to have an affinity with her, especially predators and she can often pacify creatures...even werewolves.

Weaknesses:
-Unsophisticated. Di has few social graces, and little grasp on anything that involves technology. Her lack of manners means she can't exactly fade into the background in social events. It's something she needs to work on if she wants a career in intelligence.

-Wendigo curse. Dinah must hunt and spill blood to feed the earth regularly so as not to wake the full force of the spirit that dwells inside her. If she fails to prepare properly she may be overwhelmed by this presence and become a mindless beast.

Brief History:
Dinah, along with her older brother Cyrus, were adopted by Saffiya, one of the SCION officers after they were discovered living by themselves in the wilds of Wyoming. Dinah had apparently taken to this far more readily than her brother, and seemed entirely at home out there.

It was only once they'd returned to civilisation that it became clear that the girl was no longer quite herself. In the time they had been out there, Dinah had become host to one of the spirits of the hunt. She has, in the time in between, done her best to keep it under control within the restrictions that a more structured life demands.

Dinah has been around SCION for a few years, and as a result seemed naturally pre-disposed to taking up a role within the organisation. Saffiya has hoped to some degree it will give the young woman a little more direction in life.
