I’ve been writing since the third grade: Poetry, Prose, World-building, Modules, Scripts, Plays, Newspaper Columns, Advertising, Technical and Academic papers – the works. When the interwebs came along I started in on dial-up BBS and collaborative story telling.
I love the RP part of RPG and tend to use dice rolls for combat and pivotal moments only; the Rule of Awesome has serious sway when I’m running things. I’ve been a DM since 1985 and have enjoyed playing characters from across the spectrum. I’ve got a collection of rejection letters, a paycheck or two, and some self-publications deep in the kindle archives.
In real life I’ve survived several careers, a multitude of jobs, and developed skills that are really only relevant in game or at Renaissance Fairs. If I was a character I think it would be safe to say I’m a multi-class Ranger-Bard. Min-maxers, Munchkins, Mary-Sues and Lawyers are my favored enemies.

Anyone got some BTL? Seriously omae. I jump head deep into it all. Pages deep. I did my height in them last year. Started producing my own, got a sweet sim-rig hook up in my coffin. In other words mates I'm a writer and a reader and compulsive about both. I'm genre savvy in anime, fantasy, sci-fi, cyberpunk, steampunk, horror, mystery and noir fiction. I've played a metric ton of tabletop rpgs, video games and even LARPed. I love it all and am especially fond of character development and large arcs.
I'm not going to kill you with a wall of words here, but I'd like to join a group that's interested in a dice moderated story. I'm a big fan of having to deal with the improvisation involved in coping with disastrous or miraculous rolls.

@Genkai I've got a couple rough ideas: Elf Tempest Rogue - Water; Dwarf Champion Fighter - Earth; Dwarf Artificer Rogue - Air.
I see the elf character as a fun Jackie Chan/Scanlan the Gnomish Bard type, wielding beer as both balm and bane.
On the more serious side of things, I'm really interested in the ramifications of an exiled Dwarf having some of this elemental power and what it might mean for the world. Are the rifts to the Fade allowing races previously unable to wield magic a connection to this mysterious realm? Is he/she just a fluke, an aberration or are they the first of a new generation? Will they be sought out as mentors or hunted as abominations?

I'm very interested in playing. I'm happy to play any of the characters as I have ideas for each. I've got a strong background in writing and love the improvisation of collaborative story telling. Please let me know if you are interested.
