Bio

Thank you for visiting my biography.

I am just a typical Aussie Young Adult juggling social life and work at the same time.

I have not roleplayed in years. I thought maybe I'll re-login once in a while and see how the Guild is going.

I have lost touch with the friends that I've made while I was a resident here. Those of you who were my friends, know that I enjoyed my time roleplaying with you and I hope that it is mutual.

I hope to see you in another life.

@ManoftheNorth Perhaps then Ferghus may have only heard of a rumours about a man with an eerie flail. I'm fine with that.
In earnest, I think the idea of the game is just that taking the time to specifically map out every little detail got rather annoying to the developers, so they just decided: "HERE IS TEXTURE 1! Use this. Only use this. It will be easier."

That is why I generally value canon from Games only on major topics. That is only my opinion, I have Pet peeves myself, and with plenty of games honestly. Like I have a pet peeve with Skyrim that in the base game without mods, so much was limited with relationships and marriage, and I say this in the best of ways.

I.e. I often play Khajiit because once upon a time I played Morrowind, got super into lore, and discovered the wonder that is the Khajiit. However, Bethesda decided it would be best to not allow Khajiit players, ANY Khajiit spouses. That is a peeve of mine.

Also, if anyone wants to know Koldar or have previous association with him. We should talk about it before the Rp starts, I completely forgot to mention he is on the table for anyone who wants to have connections/relations/etc. with him.

I agree with you. The game tends to prefer brevity over accuracy. I think this is why theres this wonder of mods made by the community who often improves the game for the better and lore accuracy. Then theres the nude and sex mods.

Has Koldar travelled to Haakland? If he has, perhaps he could've taken on a job with Ferghus?
@Jones Sparrow Have you thought of a way to begin? I suspect you do, and if you do; tell us what you are planning?
@VKAllen Well at least in Scilla's case she can always coat the blades or swords in magical fire or something of hte like and thus provide herself with the monster killing effect ^^

Yes! Or have someone forge her a silver sword herself if she came up with one or managed to woo one out of a witcher's pockets.
Nahh it's not only game logic lol. Hell in the book they killed a bruxa with a big piece of wood and just skewered her so ehh...

Indeed twas sad day for Nivellen.
Well it's not impossible to kill monsters without silver sword you know. Those Order of the Rose Douches tend to do it and undercut the prices >_>

Which is why its a personal pet peeve.

The Witch Douches too!

Damn them all!

Damn game logic!!
@VKAllen I assume it's because well magic, but then again silver isn't inheritently better for swords in fact witcher silver swords are simply specially coated steel ones most of the time from what I remember. Steel simply cuts where I believe silver has additional effects on monsters.

In accordance to the original books, the witcher silver swords are in fact pure silver. Also, when playing as a witcher in the game, it specifically penalises you for using a steel sword against a monster enemy by reducing the amount of damage you deal to the enemy (except this is an exception in terms of several characters in Witcher 3, for brevity sake I suspect?). I conclude from this as the fact that silver weapons in the Witcher universe contains the same properties as that of many other fantasy worlds where silver is a purifying and holy metal that is able to penetrate an abomination.

Edit:

I am not dismissing the fact that silver-coated steel weaponry weren't used, in fact Geralt himself in the books would instruct other combatants to do so when there are monster infestations.
Do you know what is my pet peeve of Witcher 3? Characters with steel swords dealing the same amount of damage as the Witchers who uses a silver sword. Ciri's part of this pet peeve too when clearly Zirael, the steel sword is not in any way forged with any silver in it, yet still cuts through basilisks like butter. What the fuck CD Projekt Red?! And Andrezj! Why didn't you say anything!!
