I'm really liking the cast of characters we have so far. We've got variety in both races (where's the Dwarf though?), specializations and genders (hell, I think we are even on that case). Looking forward to the chemistry between the characters. I can tell we're going to have fun with the interactions.

As for the chat, I don't mind any of them. In fact, both Skype and Discord are on my computer and phone, and they are always functionning. As for Chatzy, I have used it in the past for RP's and OoC chat from offline D&D sessions.I can say that Chatzy requires less ressources from a portable device since it's mostly browser-based. A bit inconvenient although since you always have to switchback and forth to the internet browser. Doesn't require an account too.
@Pyromaniacwolf Ooooooooh daaaaamn, looks like we'll be in for a clash between our characters. Can't wait to see how it will turn out tho.

Illistrianna Alderine

The night is just as beautiful as fearsome. Bewitched by the resplendent moonlight, but in the deepest darkness lie dangerous beasts.

Full Name: Illistrianna Alderine
Nickname(s): Anna (mostly for Humans) / Sister
Gender: Female
Age: 113 years old (about 20 years old for a human)

Species: Moon Elf
About Species: Elves said to have been touched by the moon goddess’ graceful light. They mainly worship the moon as it is the very symbol of their patron goddess. These elves are particularly religious and zealous in their practice. Their dogma is to bring light in the night just as the moon does, and to smite down the terrors lurking in the darkness of the night. Moon Elves are matriarchal and while most men are either warriors or scholars of magic, females become priestesses and paladins.

Weapon(s):
-Silver Crescent: Representing a crescent moon, this 6 foot scythe is the bane of the strongest monstrosities lurking in the night - Vampires and Werewolves. The shaft has been crafted from Darkwood – oak that has turned black due to being alchemically enhanced to become as hard as steel – and the blade is made from refined silver and blessed by the church to become what Elves would call “Moonsilver”. This weapon is a symbol Luna Priestesses proudly display and bear in battle against the creatures of the night. The scythe has magical properties that allows it to penetrate with ease the hardened hides of both Werewolf and Vampire, as well as prevent their regeneration. Otherwise, the blade shines softly in the night, providing practically no light, but flares in a blinding flash when clashing against the forces of darkness.

-Full Moon: A chakram that holds the same properties as Silver Crescent, however used only when the scythe is unavailable to use. With the flick of a wrist, the handle comes loose and is tied to the blade by a retractable chain. With enough skill, one can effectively throw a chain chakram to strike from afar or use the chain to trip or disarm a foe.

Abilities: As a Luna Priestess, Illistrianna has access to a repertoire of spells drawn from the moon’s purity. Such spells are mostly supportive and aiding, which include healings, blessings, lighting and smiting night creatures.
However, due to extensive research made in secret from the Luna Order, Illistrianna also masters the dark side of the night. Those spells are more aggressive than its Luna counterpart, ranging from summoning dark and shadowy creatures to demoralizing and even fear-inducing spells.
Note that almost none of her spells are direct attacks against foes. Her selection of spells are mostly indirect attacks.

Reason: Believes it is her duty to find a way to cure the monarch that represents his kingdom’s order. Should he fall, Illistrianna fears the land might be thrown into chaos.

Brief Personality && Biography Description: Illistrianna is a fair maiden, plain and simple. She loves life and do her utmost to help people around her. She is by nature of her kin very generous and a naïve goody-two-shoes. She lacks awareness, and is very curious, often too much for her own good, which led her to several problems in the past. She will however never tolerate harm to come in her friends’ way.

Illistrianna was born into a secluded tree-top village of Elves deep into the forest of Sylvyst. While she never knew her father, her mother was a Moon Elf that raised her in the way of the Luna people, of her people. She had a childhood akin to the children of monastery, spending her days studying the ways of Luna and praying to the goddess every night. It had been quite boring for her, being of a curious and enthusiastic nature. When her prayers were answered and finally the graces of her deity was bestowed upon her, she couldn’t be more enthusiastic. As soon as she could master the innate healing powers of a Luna Priestess, she would go out her way to actually find every little scratches to heal on people. She would often get scolded to have depleted her mental reserves before night-time ceremonies, but she couldn’t care less, as long as her people would be well.

As time went on, her curious nature took her over towards the other side of the Night, forbidden by the Luna church. At first, it was a Dark Elf scholar that piqued her interest with dark magic. Her inquisitive nature wanted to know more about the night in itself, and so she took upon the stranger’s offer to help her better understand the other half of Night. Doing so led her into understanding many things that Luna couldn’t teach her, such as night creatures, dark magic and secrets kept by the higher authority of Luna.

However, one day, she got mixed up in an incident. The very Dark Elf that taught her of the night’s darkest aspect had attacked the Luna church after using Illistrianna’s trust. Feeling betrayed, she lashed out at him violently, killing him accidentally. Afterwards, the Church condemned her actions and her forbidden research. She was banned from the Luna Order, stripped of her status and powers.

Illistrianna roamed the land ever since, still bearing proudly the symbol of Luna. She helped people whenever she could find those in need of healing. Despite having been exiled, she still held a strong faith to her deity, for she believed no church could represent wholly the goddess. Be it because she was such faithful to Luna, or perhaps because she was considered a very young prodigy, but eventually her powers as a Luna Priestess would return to her. And mysteriously, one night, even her sacred symbols were returned to her. From that day on, her faith grew only stronger, and she continued to roam the land, practicing what SHE believed was the true teachings of Luna.

Themesong:Lake Hylia

Additional Information:
• She loves flowers and sweets, ESPECIALLY sweet. Almost addicted to them even.
• Not physically strong, but trained in combat with her weapons.
• She highly dislikes salty food, and refuses to eat anything sour.
• Has a large “mana” pool. She is mainly a caster-type, with some combat expertise.
There goes the CS. Sorry if some parts sound weird, still trying to dust off that 3 years old rust from my pen. I tried to keep her backstory short, so it's perfectly normal it looks rushed and undetailed. I might delve into her backstory further IC when I need a flashback filler.

Oh this might just be what I need to get back into the game!

Expect a CS sometime really soon.
Thank you thank you thank you!

Also shamelessly posting self announcment about me looking for RP's to join. If anyone's interested in having me, feel free to shoot me a PM.
Copied straight from my bio, 'cause you know, REASONS!

In a bleak world that is called reality...
A young man tries to find his path in life...
And so he decided to do Role-Playing!

Ahem, hello everyone! Y'all can call me Max, or Maxxy, or Maxwell House even! Fine, Riffus will do just fine too...
I'm what some would call a veteran RPer, despite not having been much active in these parts, or at all for the last 3 years. As a matter of fact, I started RP'ing ever since I started high school, and that was probably more than 15 years ago...

...

God, that makes me feel old.

So anyways, since I'm a nice guy and I know some might not want to absolutely know EVERYTHING about me (well, not everything really), I've highlighted areas of my introduction where you guys might be more interested in.

ORIGINS
Some people might know me from where I initially started RP'ing, the "Artix Entertainment Forums". Yeah, the forums dedicated to all games made by Artix Entertainment, such as their very first fame "AdventureQuest", "DragonFable" and "MechQuest" to name only a few. I was known as Necrodan for a while. Afterwards it was Dread_Shadow_Max for a long time, but that name eventually grew too moody for my lively self, so I came to adopt the name representing myself in a better way, the same alias I am using right now.

After some... let's say... issues with the former forums, a lot of its RP'ers (myself included) moved on to another forum that one of us has created. It was thusly called: "The Forbidden Forums". Quite shady, huh? Well, it had a story behind, of which I wasn't involved myself. I Rp'ed there for years, amidst many quarrels and unfinished RPs, until life struck a terrible blow against my poor self.

LIFE STRIKES BACK!
I HAD GOTTEN A JOB! Yes, poor old me was tired of living carefree in the debts of a student loan (from a program I didn't even finish at college), and so I decided to take on the mantle of a hard-working man. Never did I thought that writing RPs and working at night would be so detrimental, and as such I had resigned my fate as a RP'er to better focus on working...

Nah, in fact it's just that I couldn't keep up with the RP's I was in and found great difficulty to focus on writing. Working 12 hours a day isn't great. You just barely get back from work, eat, sleep, then repeat for 4 days. And during weekends, you'Re just too tired that you either sleep all day, laze around all-day long or just try to enjoy what little social life you have left. Life was dark at that point.

RETURN OF THE JEDI RP'ER!
Eventually, things grew to be smoother. I have gotten a new job. Still at night, but it's 8 hours instead, that makes a few more hours of free time. I have used most of that time to catch up on my games and discover new ones. But now that I'm feeling a part of me missing, a part of my creative self that yearned to write about epics and fantastic stories, I've decided to return to RP'ing once more after nearly 3 years of inactivity in the domain.

I do hope that I will be able to meet the expectations of my new comrades-in-writing and that we will all be having fun weaving the stories that have yet to be written. But hey, let's stop talking about myself, or rather my personal self. Let's delve instead into my RP'ing persona.

PREFERENCES
I'm what you would call a Jack-Of-All-Trades. I like RP'ing as a whole, be it in fantasy, sci-fi, dark or even school life settings. I do them all! I'm mostly a man of group RP's, but I've started enjoying 1x1's just before leaving for 3 years. I just love interactions between characters, as I feel they are a needed part in a successful RP. In fact, I'm a sucker for character development. Not only do I enjoy seeing the story progress, but I also love seeing the characters in that story evolving from the adventures they are experiencing.

As for my RP'ing style, you can trace it back from posts I made a few years back. I do enjoy writing lengthy and detailed pragraphs (just look at that gods be damned biography about myself that will mostly be overlooked). That's the only way to get all these ideas from that overloaded brains of mine! So I'm very sorry in advance to those who don't like reading wall of texts. For those who actually like it, then you're very much welcome!

Actually, it's just the way I was taught to write in school. A story and its characters are much more fun to read if you know the characters, their background or even their more in-depths detail. Assuming one does not overuse details of course, a mistake I was often told in the past.

Well, that's it for me. Sorry for the long introduction to my self. Hope you had a blast knowing a bit more about me. And I do hope we will be having nice RP's to be written.

So in short, it's nice to be back!

How do you even reach that 100k characters limit in a bio anyway? By writing an autobiography digital book on your profile?
I haven't been accepted yet?
Thanks, I look forward to RP with the interesting cast of characters we have so far.
Finally, here's my CS's. Enter the Predators:

Name: Maximillian Wylde
Nickname/Title: Max/The Snake
Gender: Male
Age: 23 years old

Team Title: The Predators
Position: Asylum
Specialty: Sniffer
Alchemic Style: Vocem paired with Motem (Vocem being the primary way of casting)
Asylum Code: -XXXIII- (Located on his tongue)

Weapons:
-Venom Spitter: An advanced custom sniper rifle mounted with a highly-precise scope. Maximillian uses it to deliver his potent poisons by this high-velocity pellet shooter with silent and deadly precision. The ammo is custom-made steel pellets attaching themselves on any surfaces it hits. After attaching themselves, a small dart spring from within the bullet and injects the content of the pellet. As such, one must shoot with precision on major arteries (mainly the neck) for the poison to deliver itself properly. Because it uses an intricate method of shooting to not damage the poisoned bullets, the Venom Shooter cannot effectively fire standard ammo. This weapon is mainly used for poisoning targets without killing them.

-Venom Fang: A combat knife with a hidden container filled of deadly poison in the hilt. When pressing a button on the base of the blade, the container releases a small dose of poison to coat the blade. Needless to say that the poison inside the container could be of any kind, but Maximillian prefers to use a mixture that could be lethal with even a single scratch, as a knife is a murdering tool, not a proper weapon to deliver poison without injury.

-Venom Fog: Should Maximillian find himself at close quarters and in obligation to use poison without killing his intended target, Maximillian devised a weapon of his own design to use poison at close range without drawing a weapon. The Fog is a gauntlet made of stainless steel attached to a small tank of poison by rubber tubes. The container is heated at an appropriate temperature to release a poisonous gas, which is accumulated by a closed exit point located at the palm of the gauntlet. When the exit point is opened, it releases high-pressurized gas straight in front of where the palm is facing. Often, the gas used is a knock-out poison that only acts when inhaled, so it doesn’t harm Maximillian in any way should a leak happen and spills on the Snake’s hand.

Alchemy specialization: An expert in an area people would say is a literal meaning to Alchemy, Maximillian excels at the art of producing poison. Able to make a plethora of poison types, Maximillian becomes a deadly resourceful killer when combining his intellect with the versatility of his poisons. After reciting his Vocem and Motem, Maximillian’s poison is produced from the saliva glands under his tongue, which then leaks to his temporally shaped forked tongue and drips wherever Maximillian needs it. He usually pours this newly produced poison in either vials or coats a weapon with it. The poison can only affect someone by direct contact in the bloodstream (which means an injury is required for the poison to works), ingested or inhaled (when heated appropriately to produce gas), otherwise the poison is harmless with direct dermal contact. The poison turns to water after a certain amount of time, depending on the complexity of the casting, but a full casting (which requires at least 5 minutes for a level one cast) produces a permanent dose of poison.

Appearance: Maximillian is a pale-skinned man of slender build, with no apparent trained muscles, suggesting him being someone physically weak. Standing a bit above 6 feet, about 150 pounds and slender elongated limbs, one could almost mistake him for the popularized Internet creepypasta character “Slenderman”, with however jet-black long hair and yellowish-green eyes that adds an unnatural look to his gaunt face. As he may be physically creepy, his clothing style brings him more towards some sort of a crazed scientist.

When not on mission (therefore at the A.M.R.O. headquarters), he is clothed in ragged black jeans, of which people can clearly see the lazy efforts of patching ripped spots around the knees, black sneakers, a loose-fit white T-shirt under a large lab coat and he wears what could be the fang of some reptile hanging on a necklace. When on mission, he remains pretty much in the same outfit, but his sneakers are replaced by black military boots, his lab coat is replaced by a black hooded long coat cloaking his body, leaving visible only but the metallic gauntlet in his right hand, his gaunt face barely revealing the sinister eyes underneath the hood, and his boots.

Personality: Against all expectations from his physical look, Maximillian appears to be some kind of charismatic and friendly person, looking out for the welfare of his comrades while making sure they are understood and taken care of. Rare are his enemies, as he seems to only seek harmony around him. At all time, he maintains this unnerving calm attitude, making people wonder if he can actually become angered. No matter how provoked he is, his calm demeanor remains and will reply with witty comments instead of lashing out in anger. Being incredibly level-headed and intelligent, it is no surprise to all that he is Sniffer. With a great concern for details, nothing escapes his analysis, and so are his near-flawless plans.

But beneath this façade of friendliness and compassion, there lays the snake, stalking his prey. His charisma and silver-tongue are but a mean to an end, a way to make his prey comfortable before biting it in the neck. The words Maximillian can weave could as well be a lie as it could be the truth, given how natural he is whenever he speaks. In truth, not only is The Snake intelligent, but he is cold and calculating deep within himself, with the belief that people are only but tools to be manipulated for his own end. The only person on this earth that Maximillian is fond of and will never betray through his lies is his brother, Johnathan.

Of the two brothers, Maximillian is mostly the one who keeps his emotions in check, as well as his sanity. When fighting together with Johnathan, he is the one keeping control over his brother’s sanity. As the calculating intelligent snake he is, he is the one to stay back from the action and dictates his brother the way to fight battles, for his sharp mind and his one-step-ahead plans proves to be a fatal combination when paired with his brother’s brutality and proficiency in combat.

When it comes to other members of A.M.R.O., those who manage to figure out who Maximillian is hold no real trust in the man. Everyone know he is a reliable and efficient Sniffer, but the thin line between lies and truth, along with his mastery over poison makes him untrustworthy when it comes to a personal level of friendship. Unsurprisingly, no one ever accepts anything that comes from the Snake, fearing it might be poisoned.

History: Not much is known of the two brothers that soon came to be known as The Predators, but it quickly became obvious why the two joined A.M.R.O. Their brutal approach of hunting unruly Alchemists like it was a sporting game of hunting rabbits gave them the renown of efficient killers who can be a valuable asset in eradicating the Alchemists who are not abiding by the law. While there was a few minor troubles with those two in the past, Maximillian managed to persuade the higher-ups that he will keep a tighter control over his brother, promising to be as efficient as they ever were.

Other: Maximillian enjoys calm environments when he is off-duty. He loves reading books, expanding his knowledge of Alchemy (both the magical arts and the chemistry) and playing relaxing games. He dislikes the smell and taste of alcohol, and even less cigarettes, thus becoming a real pain when his brother is enjoying both at the same time.
Name: Johnathan Wylde
Nickname/Title: John/The Animal
Gender: Male
Age: 22 years old

Team Title: The Predators
Position: Asylum
Specialty: Hunter
Alchemic Style: Sigillum paired with Vocem (Sigillum being his primary mean of casting)
Asylum Code: -XXX- (Located on his chest, where the heart is)

Weapons:
-Hawkeye: A modified advanced sniper rifle without a scope. This sniper comes with many available attachments, which all are stored in a black metal case. On the main frame of the weapon, the sniper has a slot in which a bayonet can be fixed, along with a slot for attaching a scope. The barrel itself can detach itself from the body. The regular-sized barrel allows a silencer to be attached, while the larger barrel has no attachments available to it. When using the regular barrel, Johnathan can use standard rounds, Anti-Alchemy rounds or armor-piercing rounds. The big barrel serves to bring down bigger things, such as bunkers, tanks or other fortified areas with either explosive rounds or heavier-armor-piercing rounds.

-Fang & Claw: A pair of silver plated revolvers of the Desert Eagle design. Fang’s handle is covered is black leather and on the barrel is engraved “Apex Predator”. Claw’s handle is covered in red leather and the words “Hunt the Weak” are engraved on the barrel. Compared to other Desert Eagle revolvers, these two guns have been modified so that they both can have a silencer attached to them, and they also have an automatic fire feature. The automatic feature can however not be used while the silencer is attached to the revolvers. Ammo clips commonly used of Fang & Claw are standard rounds, Anti-Alchemy rounds or personal armor-piercing rounds.

Alchemy specialization: Animal Transmogriph. Also called “Partial Shapeshifting”, Johnathan focuses of the arts of transforming certain parts of his body into animal limbs, such as shifting his arms into powerful ape arms or his hands into dangerously sharp panther claws. As part of the casting, Johnathan draws a sigil unique to each animal on a part of his body. When the symbol is drawn, Johnathan recites a vocal incantation, setting the length of the transformation depending on the length of his incantation. After all of this is achieved, Johnathan’s body part is transformed into the desired animal’s limb. With the new limbs, Johnathan gain all traits related to said new body parts, such as a gain in muscle mass exclusive to that new limb, a better sense of hearing, smelling or even a better sight depending on the chosen animal. Only one kind of animal can be used at once, so Johnathan has to revert to his normal self before using another kind of shifting.

Appearance: As opposed to his brother Maximillian, Johnathan has a clearly more muscular body frame. His chiseled body and his broad shoulders, combined with his height of 6’03’’ feet and his weight of above 300 pounds makes him an already intimidating man compared to the common people. His tanned skin accommodates perfectly his shaven head and the same yellowish-green feral eyes he has in common with his brother. Spread across his body are scars, teeth marks and lacerations, as if a number of animals tried to eat this man alive. A good number of those scars are partially hidden by the tribal tattoos covering a lot of Johnathan’s torso, back and arms.

Johnathan is dressed as some would expect of jungle commando. Baggy kaki cargo pants that seemed to have stretched far more than they should be around the legs area, dirty and used black military boots with iron caps beneath the leather, a black tank top with multiple unpatched lacerations and a necklace of what appears to be made of fangs and claws from different animals. Outside of missions, he wears an open leather jacket on top of his tank top, but it is replaced by Kevlar bulletproof body armor when he is on the terrain.

Personality: Bold, hot-headed and spontaneous, those are the best words to describe Johnathan. He is quite a loud person, and isn’t afraid to speak his mind to anyone he talks to. Clearly less deceptive than his brother, Johnathan is outgoing and speaks truthfully, whether it hurts or not. Some would say that despite he talks big, his honesty is at least appreciated, compared to the hidden schemes of Maximillian. His hot-headed attitude leads him to several anger issues, as he is very susceptible of angering when provoked. Retaliation is swift in those cases, often turning quickly to insults or even violence. People often confuse him for a Silencer, since his bestial demeanor and his lust for bloodshed could be compared to how Silencers are trained. However, his keen instincts and his desire to stalk his prey surpass even his bloodlust, and his affinity with animals makes him a great Tracker.

Just as devious as his brother, Johnathan however does not share his love for lying and deceiving. Instead, he brings a whole new meaning to the name “Hunter” in A.M.R.O. by becoming a stalking animal, preying on the weak Alchemists he is sent to deal with. He enjoys the task he is given, and proudly tears apart his targets. There could be a form of sadism involved in his ways of hunting his foes, but there is no denying that he gets the job done with minor incidents. When he enters the fray, Johnathan easily lose himself to his primal instincts, entrusting his sanity to his more level-headed brother. Just as Maximillian trusts and protects his younger brother, so is Jonathan feeling the same way about his older brother. A deadly duo whose bond is rivaled only by their love for hunting.

History: See Maximillian’s history section.

Other: Spontaneous in his desires, Johnathan has little regards to what effects the objects of his desires cause him. He is always smoking, drinking each night when off-duty, enjoys one-night relationships and is also known for having taken drugs in the past.
