Remipa returned so I was holding off on a Caden post but they didn't react so I just finished the fight so we can be ready to move on whenever... Hope that's cool.
"They're not stupid but they can't be expected to know everything, but I guess even if they did they would keep it under wraps until they had no other choice. Information like that could very well send the entire camp into a panic... I hope this year's new group has a chance to settle in before things start heating up." Jade sighed, looking around at each of the campers sitting in the dining pavilion. "At least they'll have tonight's game of capture the flag. Are you participating?" Unlike the Ares kids, it wasn't the battle itself that she looked forward to, it was the thrill of chasing after something hidden by fellow warriors. This time was a little different though... This Dorian kid had caught her interest as an opponent, she was interested to see what the kid of Thanatos was capable of, especially if he might become an enemy in the future.

Caden's knee connected with Hunter's gut, sending the guy reeling backwards to the ground. Following through with what very well should have been a death blow, Caden stopped his weapon just inches from Hunter's head and instead tapped him lightly on the top of the skull. "You're dead." He said flatly, shifting his grip on his baseball bat from his right to his left hand. Leaning forward he offered his free hand to Hunter to help him up, not something seen often from the Ares kids. Caden was all about sportsmanship... Most of the time. The kid had earned some respect form Caden, though it would never be complete respect unless Hunter found a way to beat him in combat.

@Remipa Awesome
Cool, can't wait so to see what you've got. ^.^
Soooo many colors. XD Heading out to a BBQ then work so I'll be gone until 10ish my time, see you all later.

Oh and I changed Caden's last name to Blake because Black was already in Blackthorne.
As one of the Guardian's asked her question the Director scanned the faces in the room, making mental note of who'd arrived and who was still missing. There were three Guardians unaccounted for, a fact that made her a little nervous. If they didn't show up by the morning she would send a search party out for them with the worst case scenario in mind.

"Ma'am, you said 'specialists' but as far as I was aware we were the most 'special' forces around. How are our team leaders different to ourselves." The voice belonged to a young, athletic looking woman with red hair... Rhiannon Jones according to the files she had spent weeks, maybe even months pouring over and memorizing.

"I'm glad you asked, Ms. Jones. When we figured out what was going, the government gave us permission to start up a secondary project with your safety as our priority. Ladies and Gentlemen I'd like to introduce you to the only two successful subjects of the Guardian Angel Project." As the woman finished speaking the door slid open to reveal two young adults waiting to enter the room. Stepping forward as if the door were their cue, the male and female stood on either side of the director to look out at the present Guardians. The girl, who was only 19 years old, stood stiff like a soldier, arms folded comfortably behind her back. The man on the other hand had a much more relaxed feel about him, devious almost despite being 25 years old. "I'd like you to meet Silvia Blackthorne and Caden Blake, currently the only two existing Angels and your team leaders. They've gone through extensive combat training much more intense than anything we've put you through. Physically stronger than most of you they are designed with taking hits in mind, a very sturdy pair as we've tested in the labs. They're only job is to protect and assist you on all of your future missions." Silvia nodded her hello to the group as her name was mentioned where Caden gave a two-finger salute with his, showcasing the obvious personality differences between the two individuals. When Ms. Nightshade had finished speaking the pair stepped forward together, Caden with a grin and Silvia with her usual blank expression.

"I think the biggest difference Clarisse here forgot to mention is that you have cool super powers where as we don't. Instead we've got a chip implanted in our brains that allows us to connect with the city and various other things." Caden glanced over at his white haired counterpart, only to find she was glaring at him out of the corner of her eye. It was one of two expressions she was capable of, though he doubted she realized when she was making them.

"The chip allows us access to information and resources otherwise unavailable to you on your missions. Now, if that's all the questions you have for us or the Director we'll be giving you your team assignments and setting out on your tour of the facility."

I'm about to send a mass PM out to those who haven't arrived yet to make their introduction post, but for the RP's sake I'll also be moving on... Their characters can just be late to the safe house. I'll be back in a few to post.
There's a whole bunch who haven't posted yet. Don't want to go on without then but I don't want to wait too long either.
Things have been a bit hectic, I'll have a post after I get home from babysitting my little cousins.

Kasari's trip could be considered anything but comfortable. She had been taken away from her home and thrown into a carriage, certainly not designed with comfort in mind. At first she had struggled but her rage quickly dissipated to tears of despair, tears she shed silently out of spite for the Drakken; she would not allow them the satisfaction of her pain. The Gemminite gained control of her emotions before the carriage reached the mountain pass, forcing a blank stare into her features as two of the three Drakken men escorting her climbed into the carriage with her. The mountains were cold, each of their breaths escaping in little white puffs the closer they got to their destination. From what she had been told Drakken weren't very fond of the cold, having come from a desolate land scorched by the heat of the sun. This fact became clear as the Drakken men got more and more irritable, never complaining but visibly more tense and voices more sharp.

Because she was a Gem of the fire element the cold didn't bother her in the slightest, her body temperature had always been a little higher but it had a way of shifting to keep her warmer in the colder months of the year. Unfortunately for her it was this lack of reaction to the environment that brought upon the "wrath" of her captors. Needless to say she would have bruising around her neck and biceps later on from their rough handling. Upon arriving at the place known as Shadow Worth Kasari found that the men inside were no gentler than her escorts, not that she had been expecting much else. She was brought to a room with many other girls like herself, taken from their homes with little to no warning to become the wives of the Drakken scum. The thought made her grind her teeth but she maintained her emotionless demeanor. Perhaps if she faked lifelessness they would throw her aside and send her home, little did she know it wouldn't work out in the least.

Standing in front of so many strange men made her feel uncomfortable, much of her skin was visible due to her lack of preparation. Her outfit was in two pieces, mere cloth to cover her bust and some flowing skirts to allow for free range movement; Kasari was quite active at home. Even her shoes were thin enough that she could feel the rough ground beneath her feet. Amidst her discomfort, Kasari had spaced out, being taken completely by surprise when the guards gripped her tightly and brought her before a pair of Drakken; one female the other a blind male. Silently she wondered how such a creature could survive amongst such treacherous beasts, the thought that he had somehow managed to earn brides unnerved her. She kept her gaze forward but watched the blind Drakken's interactions with the Gem beside her. From what she gathered this girl's name was Raya and that she was Earth Gem with brothers... How this man knew such things escaped her, but then again it was very possible that the Drakken were given information about them to better intimidate the girls. Whatever it was, Kasari was not going to act so easily impressed.

Released from the guards' grip, Kasari stood boldly in front of the man while shooting open looks at the Drakken woman with him. She kept her breath even, standing firmly in place even as the man drew creepily close to her. "What makes you so sure that my elemental abilities are based in fire?" She tilted her head curiously, purposely not answering his question. Before she received any sort of reaction, Kasari felt a familiar presence snake his way around her right ankle. Without looking she knew that the beast wrapped around her leg was a desert lizard she had named Leo. She thought he was among the family members she would never see again, but it seemed as if the creature was much cleverer than anyone had given him credit for.
