Yeah, so your character is replacing Coppy's to preserve balance so River will be partnered up with Mike Sharpe... which is meeeee. ^.^ It'll be fun. In all seriousness though, it's a tad bit weird. The bite itself is a little on the painful side but similar to vampire bats their saliva has a numbing agent so the pain is short-lived. From there, the experience can be a little different for everyone. Some mages (especially the first time they're being fed on) have their survival instincts kicked into overdrive which makes the experience a lot less pleasant... Unless you're some kind of freaky kinky person which is toooootally fine.

Not in the sense that they'll die, so I guess technically they don't need to breathe to survive. But it certainly wouldn't be comfortable for them if they do end up "breathing" it in.

Cold and room temperature water are alright, scalding water from the depths of hell... not so much. Their bodies aren't meant for showers as hot as I take them. XD

Those turned are more prone than those born but still rather uncommon. Causes feeding to be rather uncomfortable for the poor vampire.

One: I dunno yet, I'm only 3 episodes in rn.
Two: Yes, yes it is.
Three: Not allowed, super forbidden, crime punishable by... detention. They get detention. XD

Everything they'll need is on campus, if they need to leave for some reason they have to have permission and/or an escort from the school. For right now, gates are open until just before sunrise to accomodate late arrivals so leaving isn't as strictly enforced. Normally those gates will be closed unless someone with permission is arriving or leaving.
