Bio

Hello fellow Guild Members! My name is WhenBooksFly101.....but you can call me Books for short. :) I'm a 16 year old girl with average looks; green eyes, long brown hair, glasses.....I'm kind of blind without them.

I'm a lover of dragons, horses, Fantasy novels, dinosaurs, video games, and archery. When I'm not writing books or roleplaying, I'm out practicing with my recurve or working with my dear equines.

Some of the Roleplays I am involved in.....most are elsewhere but some nowhere as good as these on here.

Guild:

To Live as Dragons (A Feral Dragon Roleplay) {made by me! So go check it out!}

Werewolf Roleplay - OPEN

Animal Instincts (Recruiting!)

The Wolves of Red Lake: Season One (Main Cast full Secondary Cast is still accepting)

Elsewhere in the internet:

Dragon Rider rp
Wild horse rp
Warrior cats rp
Gifted School rp (Super power X-men university type stuffs.)
Divergent rp

All I think are awesome, :3 the two Dragon rp's being my favorite.

Also! If you guys ever want to invite me into an rp posse, here's the kind of rp I'd LOVE to join!

Halo rp either Spartan or Covenant sided
Jurassic Park/World rp
Dragon rp either feral or with riders
Horse rp
And yes......zombies.... :3 I'm up for fighting some walkers.

So I hope I come across as at least an Interesting person! These Roleplays
Are my escape from life......and I try to be as professional as I can be. (I'll try my best on my little iPad screen!)

Lol anyways. Have fun out there on the virtual rp pool that is the guild. Go ahead and pluck one from its waters; you might stumble across something really interesting. :)

Seeing the first girl, whom she recognized as Krista, point at her, Sky smiled politely and nodded before stepping closer to them, "Small town.....how you guys doing?"

She wanted to ask about the wolf again, but being in public with such a delicate topic was risky. Instead she just implied; tilting her head to one side as she kept one eye out for her order.

It came after a moment, and keeping her attention on the others she paid the bill. Moving over to them she remained standing, "The others still seem to be okay?"

She was concerned for them, which was a first as she never really had the chance to care for a friend or someone outside of her family. It made her feel funny.....happy almost.
Will be working on a post tonight everyone sorry been busy and also the holiday to also been sick as well.

Its alright. :) Been over here at my place getting surrounded by wildfires, so thats why I havent been on lately. Ugh. Lol
The surgery didn't take as long as suspected......thank goodness. Dr. Brenant was in one of his moods, and currently Sky taking the brunt of his snappy comments and orders. This was a regular occurrence; the doctor often became like this after a rough day of work. Sky had gotten used to it and made sure to read lightly around her employer.

After the surgery was over and the tumor was removed from their patient's side, it was by then lunch break.
Removing her scrubs, Sky walked out into the waiting room. There was only one person with her cat.......so it was a slow day.

Shaking her head she turned to the receptionist, "I'm headed to the cafe for a coffee and snack;you want anything?"

The older woman looked up, then smiled and shook her head. She was currently on the phone with a rather concerned citizen with a sick herd of cattle.......an out of town call.

Sky nodded, then going outside she jumped into her truck and drove to the town's nearby cafe. She fixed her braid, then stepped out onto the pavement. Going inside she went to the counter, and ordered a quick coffee along with a sandwich......and a donut.

While waiting on her order, she leaned against the counter and gazed around the room.
When her eyes rested on a nearby table she blinked. Were those two of the girls from the camp site this morning?
Then again as I think im pondering the benefits of a reboot. :3 hmmmmmm! It would give ys a fresh start...lol
@ErrorYou have like two other characters that you could have posted as during that amount of time, also I did say that you will have to post as your other character that is a werewolf. Like I said i don't like controling other people's characters. Also Error I think Twilight meant it to be in the IC tab.

Anyway one vote for a reboot. @Caits, @BeautifulSnow and @WhenBooksFly101 What do you guys think?

Ummm....I dont really care if we reboot or not, as I would like to stick with you guys any way......
But....I know that doesn't really help.....so I think we should keep everything as is.

If it would help your problem with controlling other peeps ocs, I have an idea. :)
After the accident, or whatever, the ocs of the non participating players could kind of pull away from the group entirely......like some of them choose to travel away from Red Lake to find out what happened to them. Thought that may be easier than sticking with them forever.
Due to things moving slow, my oc Rala and her sister Stormy have gone out to hunt. :) So as far as that goes we have not done much.
@AcaciaMalikov
@Lmpkio

Sorry everyone for not posting in awhile. :/ Just recently my friend had an accident on her motor bike and ended up breaking her back.
She is doing alright and healing, but the situation was.....difficult....as you can imagine.

I'd like to ask you two if you are still participating in this rp. I would understand why if you do not; its all good. :)
Rala smiled, stepping silently over to the edge of the cave and fanned her wings open. The light gleaming through the mist bounced off her mixed colors and made each individual scale sparkle.
The world was particularly beautiful this morning.

Shaking her head and snorting the dragoness leapt from the ledge into the open air; fresh and cool in her lungs.
Rala nodded to Stormy's mention of hunting an elk, before swooping over away from the ridge towards the forests, "An elk would be a sizable meal.....it would work for now."

Her tail whipped out behind her and she glanced to the other blue dragon.
Her dream still clung to the back of her mind.....haunting her with the images of her child body being wounded by the human's weapons. Rala still couldn't tell if she dreamt it because of her sister's run in with the humans the day before, or not.

Pulling her thoughts to the subject of hunting Rala tested the air.
It wasn't long before a prey animal's scent reached her senses, making her eyes go wide with bubbling excitement.

Large wings out to their full extent she glided down towards the tree tops, "Follow me."
Kal looked up at the human and nodded, "I apologize if my presence has in any way affected your relationships with your comrades......"
Looking down he snatched a bite from his food, then blinked at the taste of the meat. It was odd, yet very enjoyable surprisingly.

Chuckling he nodded to James when he joked about Rethea using her staff on him.
He had to admit though.......

"I've seen her use it.......and more often then not I've gotten the occasional view of an enemy's entrails........"

Realizing something he didn't continue with the subject and merely nodded quickly, "Pardon. I know you are still eating."

Gnawing on another of his many steaks Kal glanced over at Rethea, then to the human named Cassie. Indeed, he could spot resemblances between the two; in both personality, and the way they carried themselves. Both were confident warriors.

Kal sighed, "I wage they will warm up to each other in due time. Rethea may be stubborn like a rock is hard, but she cant keep to herself forever."

From the other table, Rethea's expression had turned into that of frustration and uncertainty.
The human ambassador and Juso were contemplating putting her into work with the human Cassie. They really thought doing that would get her to 'like' the human female?

Glancing over to said human Rethea snorted softly. But, something of what the ambassador had said made her grimace.
Cassie had been through just as much pain as she.....maybe worse. Akin to her, the human female seemed to be strong, proud, and ready to defend her race at the drop of a hat.

Rethea thought on the subject for awhile, then tilted her head and sucked in a small breath. Yearning for her family and her home rose up into her chest and she clenched her fists.
Maybe she could try it.....she had nothing to loose.....if it would get the others off her back and settle some things between Captain Wellens. She had to admit she didn't like the tension between them.

Slowly, the female Sangheili clicked her mandibles and stood up from her table. Leaving her untouched meal she grabbed her staff, then staring at the ground she strode over towards Cassie's table. She also chose this moment to turn off the comm between her and the ambassadors. There was nothing more to hear from them, and she was beginning to trust Ambassador Juso with Hays.

Without a word Rethea came to Captain Wellens' table, then sitting down she stared at the countertop.

What was she to say? If anything? She didn't know how to speak to these humans.

Blue eyes lifting to the ODST Rethea muttered, "I hope you don't mind if I join you."

---------------------------------

Juso nodded, looking over the screen on his datapad with unwavering interest. He only glanced up when Ambassador Hays mentioned teaming the two of their commanding guard together, and chuckled in agreement, "I think that would push them both along quite nicely. It would be good for Rethea to work with another female as well."

Hearing of the trading opportunities with Aurora he nodded, although rather stiffly.

"Since the end of the Covenant Sangheilios has taken a hard turn. Not only has our Agricultural status fallen, our ability to manufacture technology such as weapons and aircraft has lowered without the presence of the San Shayum."
A growl tinged his voice, "We were foolish to put so much dependence on those worms.....and now we pay dearly for it."

He added, face softening as he looked up at the human, "Sangheilios will do as much as we can in assistance with Aurora. The stability of our treaty, and the wellbeing of our people are our priority."

He would do everything in his power to make this mission go smoothly. If Aurora accepted their propositions, then many things for both the UNSC and the Sangheili, would improve.

"What took you so long to get here! Our patient's been waiting nearly half an hour past its due prep time!"

Dr. Brenant's stern voice still rose from the back storage room, making Sky grimace and hurry to pull her blue scrubs over her clothing. Then, tugging on her boots she turned and approached one of the clinic's prep rooms.
it was a small white walled space, with a tall stainless steel table in the middle for the smaller animals to lay on while the assistant's prepped them for treatment. Cabinets and shelves filled with tools and different liquids or medications lined the walls.

Reaching up to re-braid her brown hair Sky called out to her employer, "I'm sorry Dr......I was held up at home."

As she moved to set things up for her assigned patient his angry voice replied. The man wasn't mean......he just got really tense when his animal patients were effected in any bad way, as Sky often did in similar situations.

"Please ensure that you arrive ON TIME tomorrow! The last thing I need around here is for you all to disappear; we've lost enough employees already."

The vet clinic......Sky couldn't say that it was in financial trouble.......more like willing workers trouble.
Over the past months they had lost multiple employees; due to some moving, retiring, and some younger teenagers just plain not enjoying the job. Too many were put off by the blood and gore often associated with animals. They sometimes got hurt alot worse than you would think.

Reaching up and grabbing a bottle of disinfectant wash, cotton rags, and a portable hair clipper, Sky hurried to set up her station.
Organizing it all on a stand next to the table she nodded, then moved away to retrieve her patient.

Sky walked out of the prep room down the back hall, to where the barks and occasional soft wines could be heard from the dogs in the back rooms.
Entering one, she came to view of a line of stainless steel dog cages; filled with patients already tended to from the day before, patients recovering from medical attention, and patients yet to be operated on or given medication.
Sky's sight rested on one of the lower cages and she sighed gently, "Alright Mesa; time to get that tumor looked at."

Bending down she looked through the front bars at an older female blood hound with white and brown splotches covering her body. The hairs around her eyes were greying with age and her face seemed to melt in some places. But what was very out of place, was the softball sized tumor on her left side.
Located under the skin it had to be very uncomfortable, and Sky winced before unlocking the cage and calling to the poor dog, "Come on."
She knew Mesa from many visits in the past, and knew she was a sweet cooperating canine.

The hound looked up at her with those sad eyes, then whined and stepped foreword out of the cage.
Sky wrapped her arms around her, careful of the tumor, and lifted the heavy dog into her arms before lugging her off towards the prep room.

Once inside, she gave Mesa a sedative and placed her on the prep table to sleep, while she disinfected the area on and around the bulbous tumor. Then, using the hair clippers, she cleaned all of the hair off and again disinfected the area.
Mesa was ready for surgery.......and Sky was sure Dr. Brenant was ready as well.

Moving the patient into the back room she took in a long breath; wrinkling her nose at the smell of rubbing alcohol and other fumes from the various liquids in the clinic. Here's to hoping the operation went well......for both her and Mesa.
