I'm still a little sketchy on her history. I was thinking that possibly that Michael could be her old flame turned demon? Not sure yet but that could lead to a standoff between her and Michael at the end that maybe Merlin or Arturia would have to finish because she might have trouble killing him since she loves him...Thoughts? Not sure where you want to go and I don't want to trample your ideas.

I'm leaving the setting more to you because I think you have an idea of the direction you are wanting to go and where she comes from isn't going to be modern. PM if you get on so we can talk.

Zandaria had just left a council meeting in the local village. The townsfolk were all riled up about the neighboring townsmen competing in the annual games. She had been asked to be the judge so there wouldn't be any cheating like there was the year before. It had been a disaster that had turned into a large brawl in the middle of a field and a repeat was not an option.

Her reputation was well known even though she was much less social than she had been many years ago. She was often asked to be judge when there was a question on the right versus wrong of things. The people seemed to need her and she enjoyed the children. She was often caught teaching the young ones and her generosity was as well known as her magic.

It was on her way home that she spied something off in the distance. It was too far away for her to tell what it was but she saw it move just a little. She kept on her way towards the mysterious creature and when she came upon it she realized it was not such a mystery, just a tall man sitting on the ground who appeared to her to be a bit disoriented. Offering him a hand up she smiled and asked him

"Why are you on the ground sir? Are you injured? Shall I get someone for you?" She stared at the man for a moment and noticed his garb. "You don't look like you are from around here. Are you lost?"

Motioning down the road just a little ways she pointed to a small log cabin home. "I live not far down the road if you would like to come with me and have something to eat. You look a little thin."

History: Zandaria's background is kept quiet. For the most part she doesn't speak of it. When she meets Merlin she will not be so inclined to go with him but will be easily talked into going. A very very long time ago her love named Veromere was killed by Michael and she wanted to stop him from doing it to someone else's love.WIP
Tomorrow I will talk with you more about how they will meet I want to make certain we mesh on that or it might make the relationship feel off. It's a good beginning. I think it's bedtime now though or I won't be able to write till after noon. lol

I'll do a C.s. for her tomorrow after I wake up.
@CatherineMcLeod

I think I would put that part about the No's in a hider. It gave me icky images and then I read epic love story underneath toilet play and it did my mind a twisted turn of disgust. Just a suggestion. :)
@XxLyraxX

Ohh I'm so sorry hun. My condolences to you and yours. *hugs*
@XxLyraxX

You got time to write tonight? I'm bored to death.
@December

I am very glad to hear that. YAY! I've missed writing with you this week, more than you realize. It's been really quiet in here. I'll see you tomorrow then.
Warhammer High School P3

Eric Marks had volunteered to show the new girl Haley Kain around school so he was waiting in the main office for her to arrive. When she arrived he knew who she was immediately. She had a distinctive limp and she looked a little bit lost. He saw her hair was tied back in a loose pony tail that curled around the nape of her neck and her bangs hung above the largest blue eyes he had ever seen. It surprised him that she was pretty. Later he wouldn't be able to pinpoint the reason why that would seem weird to him.

"Eric come here." Mrs. Kohl called out to him. "Eric is your assigned guide for the week. He will meet you outside of your classes ten minutes before the bell rings until the doctor says you are released from your rehabilitation on your hip." Haley nodded and when she turned to him and she laid her eyes on him he smiled just a little. "Come on I'll show you where your locker is." Eric reached over and plucked her backpack from the floor by her feet.

"I can carry that." She protested hotly.

"I know you could. I want to carry it." At that Haley didn't know what to say so she followed the guy. He held the door for her and once in the hallway he seemed to part the crowds of strangers like Moses parted the red sea. After the halls cleared out a little bit he walked next to her telling her where everything was at. It gave her a chance to notice the glances and waves aimed at him and she realized this was not a nerd on newbie duty. It made her a little suspicious.

Like clockwork Eric was at the door after every class ten minutes before the bell every class. After one of her last classes for the day she was limping worse than earlier in the day. He noticed and slowed down so she wouldn't try to go too fast. He could tell she was in pain.

After the last class of the day he wasn't supposed to meet her at her class but he did. He knew how far the bus was. "Hey, I could give you a lift home. I have a car so it's no big deal but the bus is kind of far from here. Come on, I'll give you a lift home."

Haley nodded and didn't say much of anything. He took her bag and when they got to the parking lot he left her at the sidewalk and ran to get his car before the bell rang and the parking lot was full of teenagers. He pulled up in front of her just as the bell rang out. Haley got in and shut the door. She closed her eyes for a moment and wiped the tears that threatened to run down her face away.

Haley gave him directions to her house and she noticed the looks they got leaving the parking lot. Wondering why he was taking her home instead of letting her miss the bus and find her own way home. Haley looked at him as they pulled up to her house. Feeling a little awkward, she didn't know what to say when he opened her door and grabbed out her backpack. She got out of the car and almost fell. She caught herself on the car door as he caught her around the waist. "Are you okay?"

Embarrassed, she wanted to crawl into a hole in the ground. Nodding "Uh huh, I think so." She didn't really think so but as long as she didn't fall on her face she was good. She felt her face turning pink when he didn't let go of her right away. She figured he didn't want her to fall and make a scene or something so she let him help her up the stairs to her house.

Once there he watched her open the door and he put the bag inside the door and smiled at her. "You okay to get in on your own?" He seemed to genuinely care that she not take a header down the stairs and she nodded and smiled.

"Yes, I'll manage." She stepped up into the door stoop and turned around to look at him. "Eric, thanks. I don't know if I would have made it today without you."

Eric smiled and nodded. "What time shall I pick you up in the morning?"

Haley was surprised and smiled unexpectedly. "You want to take me to school tomorrow?"

"Yeah, I mean you'll have the same walk to the bus stop and the bus itself otherwise. That's a crappy way to start the day. You are on my way home so it's no big deal."

@Serpah Cross

First let me say that I am terribly sorry that you had to go through that. It's terrible to see anyone die in front of you but a parent especially if you are young when it happens would have to be one of the worst. I sympathize with you immensely. The only upside is that he knew you were with him in the end and he knew he wasn't alone. Not that it helps much but it is one good thing to consider.

My husband saw his father die at twenty years old. He was the only one there. It haunts him to this day and I'm sure it will haunt you for the rest of your days as well. I dread the day when one of my parents dies. It's one of my biggest fears. I'm not sure why I fear it. I love them tremendously but it's normal for them to pass before us so why it scares me so much I don't know.

I watched the light pass out of my grandmother's eyes and it is something I will never forget. She suffered terribly beforehand but she was so happy to see me I'm glad I was there for her. I comforted her and told her it was okay to go. She was worried about her daughter who was there in the room on the couch. That one moment when she slipped away still...It devastated me for a long time. It's been seven years ago and it still wanders into my mind more often than I'd like and it still makes me cry.

I'm not sure you will ever get over it but I hope it isn't allowed to consume you. Your father would want you to be happy and have a wonderful life. You have all of my support if you need a shoulder to cry on I'm here. PM if you want/need to.
