I've actually been there (with a post that had just about 5 'Edit' Stamps) but I seem to have developed this knee-jerk reaction to feel disgust at double posting (reinforced by the fact that we have an edit button).

@Windicator Yes. SkullGreymon occurs in Digimon World, or has a potential to occur, when a MetalGreymon looses one if its lives.

That's probably the on I remember and seeing that they are now making (a) Game(s) based around the whole Digimon world (1) concept, it's probably the best time to officially introduce a diverging death evolution in Digimon (not trying to discount previous ones but this just means we'll see probably many more of them now that the mechanic gets a name)

Sure, I believe it's ok to get it done this weekend. (possibly on saturday (for me it's today 1:35 am atm) Also, it never even crossed my mind to use any sort of generator or creator. (making me feel dumb like always)

I would not mind for that matter to have more people (most small group RPs seem to just die on the spot anyway) but I won't talk over my power and limits.

Custom & Anime Digimon RP

I've had my fair share of Double posting (not long ago even) and there is not really much to be discussed.

I can edit my post so that I'm not expecting an interaction before the party but I thought that could work as a good setup letting the other players have at least some say in the timing. I'll let a few days pass and if it's still lingering I'll post here that I've edited the post to keep the RP flowing.

I would call that back to the Joggress, Gattai, DNA, Whatever mess but for that matter it'd be the first real time they introduce that as a mechanic in-game (though I could swear Death has triggered at least a single digivolution in-game before.) and it could actually play a role (seeing that in the setting the game has you raise your Digimon that will eventually die if for nothing else, of old age so that it will be reborn.) As means of Evolution? It'd probably just get tossed aside outside of game medium as it really serves more as a trigger feature (seemingly)

To talk about your example of Death-X Digimon, It could have multitude of explanations (If I didn't miss the concrete explanation) some around X-antibody collecting scrap data, other that it's because they were offspring of Death-Xmon (which would probably be explained to be metaphorical for the dying of Yggdrasil or digital world)

I won't delve much deeper as I've not got anything more concrete.

I'd decided that if you wish to go this route, you may involve a Dark Evolution line to go along with the normal line of Evolution. Dark Evolution only takes affect from Perfect and up.

It just somehow popped to my head after just thinking the possibility of Dark evolution to have Death-X-Dorigure(Grey)mon (or just the Regular of that if deemed more fitting) that would end in Megidramon. If any one of you wants to have either of those I'm not too picky with the line there being room to change.
(Example: Skull Baluchimon -> Skull Satamon)

Having actually review my statement I can see where the confusion arose as I really F'd up Because I didn't link it to This while referring to it. I stand my point that pretty much any way you add Digimon together (outside of the plot bending Xcross) would net the same result (Imo) but your word is final.

I can't say anything for Panthers before the start of the RP but I can Quote an in game NPC for you if that helps with your question:

The representative gave Richard a wry smile and continued, "Most likely not, but that's where you come in. The Director wishes to extend your contract with Cradle - indefinitely."

"Indefinitely?!" Richard blurted, in the middle of a sip.

"That's right; the Panthers are valuable to the security of this company, Mr. Bentz. The Director wishes to keep your team close by, in the event Cradle meets any other complications down the line. In truth, 'indefinitely' is however long it takes for Cradle to complete its top-priority project; which has resumed, thanks to your retrieval of the asset earlier this week. Realistically speaking, we've estimated a period of about four months until its completion."

which ultimate suits this role? Like i'v narrowed my choices down, but i'm still deciding? If anyone has any suggestions as to what might make a good Virus lemmie know, and i'll take the recommendations into consideration.

I'm taking this being the Ultimate/Mega (damn dubs messing up the dialect). if so I'll name a few albeit the are a bit cliche:

• Diablomon will come to everyone's mind who have seen the Digimon movies "Our War game" and "Diaboromon strikes back". It's listed as Virus (an exception in its line) in the Digimon Reference Book but in games is usually listed as Unknown type (Could actually explain immunity to said virus)
• Apocalymon, Yeah, every Adventure 01 fan probably saw this coming, It would probably fill the role of the Big Bad as an iconic villain from ages past.
• Lucemon: (Falldown Mode) (Satan Mode) (Larva Mode) Is one of The Seven Great Demon Lords. While I don't have much to say I won't discriminate its potential just because it made its debut in the Frontier series while that is the reason for my lack of information.
• The Seven Great Demon Lords Formerly mentioned as a feature on the former candicate but We could also include all of them and that could also play into Ogudomon and it's curious Attribute dilemma as it's been listed as Vaccine in the reference book and Virus in the TCG (Some keep this as the most canonical source due to its "Concern with balance" tough I'd not take it as final usually) that could play into the whole Vaccine thing.

Jogress is also another version of evolution that i would actually like to attempt? I guess you'd call it DNA Digivolving but i'll call it Jogress, thank you 02 sub for that.

While Fusion / Crosswars made a point of differentiating it I've not actually seen the difference and the function seems to be the same but theories have risen on the With The Will (might be a familiar) Forum though.

Also, i hear that in a upcoming Digimon game they're gonna release a new form of evolution called ExE evolution? From what i'v seen of it, it's like Jogress, but the Human is also involved? It's rather secretive though, unfortunately.

Well, this isn't official but I think that one condition for the ExE Evolution is being defeated or maybe even death of a Digimon and it's probably related to the new Omnimon / Omegamon thing call'd Black knight executor
