Bio

I have been writing since I was 17 years old. I am now 33 and I've been enjoying life. Writing is a passion just as reading is. My favorite genre is murder/mystery, but I love fantasy and I love action/adventure. I have published a collection of short stories that can be found on Apple Books, Barnes and Nobles, and Kindle. I have a trilogy in the works, the first part scheduled for release this year.

Fracture the barrier with notes of jade...

Sa'Cha had started to walk away when Bruce approached Finn and asked for a brownie. Sa'Cha had to admit that he didn't like brownies. Cookies were a yes, but his favorite dessert would have to be chocolate creme pie with a good crust. His grandma made it whenever he was down and needed something to make him smile. Now the thought of taking Finn on a date made him smile and yet he still didn't know what movie they'd go see or where they would go eat.

"So did you do it? Of course you did why am I asking, I was literally right there," Andrew said, popping up unannounced causing Sa'Cha to freeze up when his friend's arm draped around his shoulder.

"I'm going to put a bell on you. Honestly, you pop up out of nowhere like a magician," Sa'Cha said, half believing that Andrew could be someone like him.

"Nah, I just have impeccable timing and acute ninja skills is all," Andrew said, "anyways, I overheard that there are some unexplored caves around here that need exploring. I won't take no for an answer, and if you say no I will go by myself and then if something happens It'll be your fault because you wouldn't go with me."

Sa'Cha stood there for a moment absorbing the information that Andrew had just unloaded on him. Not only was Andrew forcing him to explore dangerous caves, but was using their friendship as a hostage.

"Fine, I'll go jeez."

Andrew smirked and proceeded to walk towards Helia and Bruce who were now standing by Finn's booth. Sa'Cha stood off to the side as he listened to Helia ask Bruce and Finn if they wanted to go on an adventure. Bruce had a point, and Finn seemed to want to go but couldn't because of his desserts.

Just as Finn replied that he would love to go on an adventure, but the booth prevented him from doing so, Andrew stepped out and smiled.

"No worries Finn, I've already convinced Sa'Cha to go, you might as well go too. Consider it a predate to your actual date," Andrew said tilting his head. He quickly ushered Finn towards the forming group and took his place behind the dessert booth. "Oh and Bruce, boo boo, if you don't go you have to go on a date with me." Andrew winked at Bruce and looked between the four people standing before him.

Sa'Cha scratched the back of his head and sighed.

"I guess. What could it hurt? But, if anything happens we come back immediately, and we stick together, agreed?"

Anyone who reads this can apply. We have one more role to fill. We are shooting for 6 Rangers, but they don't have to all be present at the beginning. Sometimes Rangers find Rangers.

Episode 1: Who Are They?

Location: Sanctum Sanctorum - Memorial Hall
Interactions: Midnight and Dwarf @soren

Aielah moved into the bathroom that the nurses had managed to get the little child into. He was in the bath, though he seemed scared and shaking. Aielah was still thinking about Raph and what the man had said. This child was created, for what purpose was beyond Aielah, but that did not mean the child did not deserve a future. Whatever his old purpose was, his new purpose would be to live life fully and embrace it. Aielah slipped into the bathroom and gently placed clothes the same way he’d placed them on the sink. He approached the child and helped clean the young man’s hair.

It is alright to be scared, but there is nothing here to fear. I will protect you,” Aielah said.

“How?” the child finally spoke to Aielah’s surprise. Aielah glanced down at the youthful eyes of the young man and continued.

With every fiber of my being. Come, finish your bath and I will tuck you in. You can stay here with me in the Sanctum.”

Aielah stood up and left the child to dry off and put on the clothes that were left for him. When he emerged, Aielah was seated in a chair next to the bed.

Do you wish to tell me your name?” Aielah asked. The child was hesitant, but eventually replied.

“They kept calling me Orias at the bad place,” Orias said, slipping underneath the blanket.

Well Orias, I am Aielah and if you need anything, just call my name. Take this and wear it at all times. It will always come in handy,” Aielah said, producing a beautiful trinity bracelet. He asked for Orias’s hand and the young man held it out cautiously. “This bracelet will allow you to talk to me no matter where you are, no matter where I am. It has a divine blessing on it. Consider it a gift for a special young one. Now little Imp, it is time for bed. No late night television either.”

Aielah tucked Orias in as gently as he could and smiled as he left the boy to his dreams. Aielah had done what his mentor would have. Even in the man’s death, Aielah still worked to make him proud, to show that the Sanctum could become more than just the central point of the dimensions, but it could also be a home to those who need it, to those who seek it.

After he left Raph and Orias, Aielah stood for a moment in the hallway to gather his thoughts. He moved towards the Inner Sanctum, guarded by wards not easily broken, placed there by the Ancient One himself before his ascension. As he prepared to enter, his earrings began to glow and his mind’s eye picked up on something. New minds. They were angry, they were dark and sinister. It was like listening to the screams of the tortured. Aielah closed his eyes to clear the invading thoughts. He turned and secured the perimeter before moving swiftly towards the larger presence. Aielah was dressed to kill, and it showed in his eyes. Aielah appeared in the foyer. Someone had broken in, but what worried him was that they had managed to get through the powerful ward that protected the Sanctum. Who and why were the obvious questions, but Aielah wanted to know what the intruders wanted.

Aielah stood silent as he came to the memorial room that Dwarf had destroyed. His eyes slowly took in the damage and fell on the picture Doctor Strange had painted the day he had finished his trials. He remembered that day, how proud Doctor Strange was when Aielah had come out of the trials. The memory, the smile on his master’s face, the twinkle of joy in his own eyes painted on a picture that was now a mere pile of broken, torn, burned, and splintered wood and fabric. Rage began to course through Aielah’s veins. Three marks appeared on his wrist, two looked old, but one was fresh. Aielah’s eyes engulfed in primordial energy as he set his sight on the one known as Dwarf.

HOW DARE YOU!” Aielah spat, his voice changing. It was as if multiple people were talking at one. “YOU VILE IMPUTENT CRÉATURE!

Dwarf charged Aielah, looking to cleave the sorcerer in twain. A beautiful fan made of mysterious metals appeared in Aielah’s hand. As Dwarf reared back to swing the mighty axe, Aielah’s voice filled the room. The words dancing around the air like static. The fan met the axe and deflected it, causing Dwarf to stumble back slightly. For a brief moment, he looked at Aielah in disbelief that this small man had managed to deflect his axe blow. Aielah moved the fan in an arch and as the fan moved, another appeared behind him made of arcane energy. All he could feel was a want to destroy the being in front of him. He had only felt this kind of rage twice before, and each time he had lost himself. Whenever he came to, there was always destruction. Doctor Strange had the intention to train him to control it, to figure out what it was, but unfortunately he met his demise before he could begin.

“Take your best shot little man,” Cull growled and slammed the axe flat against his chest multiple times.

One by one the arcane blades crashed into Cull, and with each hit, he took a few steps back. The final blade struck Dwarf causing an explosion. Aielah jumped, corkscrewing away, before landing safely away from the axe that slammed in the space he was prior. Dwarf did not let up. He crashed down on Aielah who barely glided out of the way.

“I’m going to crush you like the ant you are.”

Be careful. Ants sting.”

Aielah barely had time to react as Dwarf crashed into him. The oxygen in his lungs begged for escape causing an audible grunt from the impact. Dwarf, despite his size, was fast and Aielah knew if he didn’t do something, this beast would rip him apart limb by limb. Dwarf continued his assault and used the momentum from the charge to strike Aielah creating a deep gash in the sorcerer’s side. Aielah was thrown back hitting multiple objects before sliding to a halt. Dwarf smirked, approaching Aielah who stumbled to his feet. Aielah gripped his side firmly to keep from losing too much blood.

“Where’s all that talk from earlier?” Dwarf remarked as he prepared to charge again.

Aielah stood shakily, closing his eyes as wind whipped through his hair and clothing. Dwarf dashed forward intent on ending the fight. Aielah breathed out slowly just as Dwarf came crashing into him. Dwarf’s eyes widened when he realized that Aielah hadn’t moved, and his eyes were still closed.

“What are you?” Dwarf managed to say before Aielah clasped his hands on either side of Dwarf’s head.

I am Heka, the God of MAGIC,” Aielah said.

The magical energy began to swiftly drain from Dwarf. A spell circle appeared beneath Dwarf as he tried to break free from Aielah’s grasp. Two large tentacles burst from the circle and wrapped around Dwarf as his form continued to shrink until he was nothing more than skin, bone and organs. No more was he filled with dark magic, or fire and brimstone, but was a raisin. Aielah watched as fear filled Dwarf’s eyes before the tentacles sucked Dwarf into the circle. Aielah stumbled back when the circle closed and held his bleeding side. Suddenly, he screamed out in agony as lacerations started appearing on his body. This was the aftermath of taking Dwarf’s charge head on. One long cut follow by another on his arm appeared and others began to appear on other areas of his body, but they didn’t bleed, for the pain itself was enough to cause any normal sorcerer to pass out, but Aielah continued to grip his side trying to stand.

Since time immemorial, the Paragons of Eltar have extended a helping hand across the known universe, empowering warriors of light and justice to push back evil wherever it may rear its ugly head. One such team of fighters - led by the legendary and wise Zordon - found themselves flung across the stars to the distant world of Earth, a result of a malfunctioning Quantum Drive.

Doing what they did best, these visitors sought to provide aid to the peoples of this new world, but darkness had taken root from within. Betrayed by one of their own, these warriors watched in horror and despair as their former ally became the Blood Witch, enthralling entire legions of humans and monsters to conquer the planet in her name.

After a bitter, desperate struggle that dragged on for years, the heroes mounted a final stand, luring the evil sorceress to an active volcano rigged with explosives. The moment before the caldera was set to blow, they triggered a killswitch that deactivated their protective Nano suits and teleported the armor back to Zordon, leaving them exposed to the impending blast - The Blood Witch included.

Such a momentous sacrifice was a cost they were all willing to pay, given that the re-summoning of the power was an all-or-nothing ordeal that could not be individualized. They gave their lives to see an end to the Blood Witch’s reign, trapped on that exploding volcano. Memorialized as great heroes by the Earthlings who survived, stories of the Power Rangers were passed down for generations.

Zordon, infinite in his wisdom yet overcome with grief, activated the cloaking device on his ship one final time, hiding it away deep underground below what would one day become Angel Grove. Centuries later, a new team of warriors would stumble upon it and claim the power for themselves, but in doing so, expose their world once more to the Blood Witch’s dark grasp…
