Alicia fought the urge to climb back down and sock Luro in the side of head for his comment as she reached the top, securing the sail tightly when Luro raised it. She was soaked by this point and though it was cold, her adrenaline and discipline kept her warm. "Sail is secure!" she called before the ship began to move in strange ways, causing her to grip the mast to stop herself from falling. She nearly fell a few times but it wasn't until the ship literally jumped into the air that she lost her grip and came plummeting down to the deck, hitting it hard. Everything went black and blurry as the wind was knocked from within her, causing her to cough and choke as her vision fought to regain control. She groaned, rolling onto her front as she put a hand to her head, closing her eyes and shaking her head a little to try to shake the dizziness.
The first thing she saw upon standing again was Luro being flung into the mast, and a giant beast watching them from the side. Her eyes widened and for a moment she was caught in shock, unable to think or act as she took in the sight before her. Eventually however it came back to her when she heard Nolan call for what they should do. "Captain!" she said as she limped closer to throw her voice towards Runali, "We should roll out the cannons and aim for the tentacles holding the ship! If we have any spare gunpowder barrels, we could drop them over the side and use them as depth charges! providing Luro can make the shot!" she shouted before coughing a little as she cleared her chest. She was sure something was broken, but thanks to adrenaline she could manage for now. As she looked back to the beast she wasn't even sure if her idea would work, given it's size the cannonballs might just irritate it. But one way or another those tentacles had to come off.
