The first time Emery felt the slightest surge of her powers, was the day that her adopted parents had gotten attacked by unlikely creatures that the young woman had never seen. Things one could only read about in books, or see in fantasy films. But apparently they were in her reality. Despite the fact that she managed to disintegrate the strange beings into pile of ashes; with the power of the light. It didn't stop her adoptive parents from thinking that she was a freak of nature. Feeling like she no longer belonged in the family she thought she was a part of. Emery kept her distance from everyone and anyone that came into her life from then on. Not wanting anyone to get hurt because she was around.

It was soon enough after that, she discovered whom she was. The God Apollo himself, visited her one evening. Telling her the truth about her parentage. She was his daughter. Or one of the offspring's anyways. Being a Demi-God, had at first shocked her. She wasn't human. Not fully.

With those events and truth about herself. Emery knew she needed to try and find more people like herself. It'd be the one place that she'd feel safe. To be able to learn and grow; and discover more about her abilities. Not many belongings with her, she decided to travel light. Keeping things that meant the most to her and some clothes, she set out to find Camp Half Blood.

Name: Aurora. She doesn't have many nicknames, but will respond if she's called Rora.

Invocation (7)
1.Aurora can wield the power of electricity. It's her most used element. (Other elements are more lacking with their usage.) Often summoning little sparks of electricity from her fingertips. When Angry those can turn into powerful thunderbolts thrown at the enemy.
2.She has a dagger that she likes to imbued with the power of electricity. When it comes in contact with others, it electrifies them, as well as useable in normal physical combat without magic.
3.Aurora can create objects out of electricity. They often dance in mid air with the power of her creations. Concentration must be maximum, or the objects won't last very long. Often uses it as a distraction technique in battle.
4.Summons a powerful shield of electricity, that wraps around her in a protective bubble. Can also wrap it around her allies for protection. Shield only harms enemies. The shield does not harm those she is protecting.
5. When using other elements, she can create a sturdy wall made from ice, earth or fire. Since she does not practise with these elements as much, the walls have limited timing before it's magic fades away.
6. Uses the powers of the elements to heal herself and allies.


Enchantment (6)
1. Can curse enemies. Curses depend on what severity of punishment is used on others.
2. Aurora can shapeshift into other things including animals. Often seen either in bird form if she wants to fly, or a small cat when she's at home. Can also cast shapeshifting spells on members of her coven and enemies. Limited timing on others. If used on enemies, renders them harmless for up to an hour. After that, the spell automatically breaks.
3. Charming Allure. A seductive spell used to it's advantages against others. Makes her almost irresistible to others. Spell can be broken through strong will or power of their own from the other party.
4. Can bring inanimate objects to life for brief periods of time.


Illusion (3)
Weakest of her schools of magic. Recently has taken interest in learning more about that type of school. So far she seems to be slowly mastering two spells of Illusions; faking her death and putting enemies under the illusion that they are in pain. 


Personality: Very intelligent, Aurora can be seen as the voice of reason by the younger members of the coven. She is extremely protective of those close to her, and won't hesitate to defend them; even if it means hurting those trying to harm her loved ones. If you catch her on a bad day, she is lethal and often can be seen as rather feisty. She will speak her mind, in certain situations. Much to some people's dislike.

History/Bio:Growing up, the Newman family had always been a part of the Tanner Coven. Aurora being the youngest of two children in her family. She was always considered the baby of the family, and had it slightly easier than her older brother. Her parents always being harsh on her brother Mikael, pushing him to his limits. Until she was 6, that's when everything had changed. Her older brother died in a duel against an enemy of one of the opposing covens. That left the Newman family broken; Her brother was supposed to be the new leader of their family, after her father. Whilst Aurora was missing her older brother. Her parents were more protective and strict on her. Feeling like the pressure was now on her shoulders, every day Aurora wanted to better herself. As a daughter, as a Witch and in any other way possible. Hence her natural attunement to wanting to learn more about different schools of magic and excel at those that she is already skilled in. Wanting to live up to her parents expectation of being a brilliant witch. Sometimes the pressure is too much, but Aurora wouldn't voice such thoughts to her family.

Besides working for the Coven, Aurora had other dreams and plans for her future. Attending University classes like any other normal person would. At the age of 20, she had finished her degree of Literature. She works as a well known Publisher for a popular company in New York.

As far as her work with the coven goes, she likes to help out the new comers to the coven as well as the youngsters in any way she can. Aurora is very dedicated to both her mortal and coven work. If she can help educate or train another member of the coven, she will happily help.

Aurora knows that Carlisle hasn't had it easy in life and can't help but feel sorry for him. The two have always been pleasant towards one another, and she has respect for him. Aurora is one of the possible few that believes, that he can lead their coven. Over the years, she's also spotted how he looks at Lilith, seeing that her friend is seemingly oblivious to those looks. Having learnt about the recent trouble, he's gotten himself into; Aurora wishes to help him. But her help might be of limit.

'Kolby's Girlfriend, let's see how she fits in'
The first meeting was a bit awkward, given the Coven meeting soon turned sour. Aurora's curious about how Hayden will fit into the Coven. But from what little she has witnessed off her already; she has a bad feeling about this one.

If you asked Aurora, she'd say that the two girls are very much alike. The two became friends rather quickly and Aurora considers Lilith to be one of her closest friends. Naturally, being protective over Lilith, as she views her as a little sister. If anyone tries to mess with Lilith, they in turn have to deal with Aurora also, as she comes to her aid.

Aware of his flirtatious behaviour, Aurora does not reciprocate such notions. Instead reminding him, he has a girlfriend. Knowing a bit about his past, she has given him the benefit of the doubt, but also remaining cautious in case he tries anything against the coven.

There's not much to say. The two girls always had minimum contact, with Serena being the chaotic one of the coven. Aurora tries to remain civil, but doesn't get overly close to her. Guess she never found the right approach when it comes to Serena and her personality.

The two girls get on quiet nicely and always had; especially with their friendly nature. Aurora follows Erin on Instagram and has always loved her photography. Admiring both Erin's work as a Witch and Photographer. She has a lot of respect for Erin. With Erin being more skilled in Illusion magic, Aurora has been coming to her for help.

Vic's like a baby-brother to Aurora. Looking out for him like she does with the younger members of the coven. The two have always gotten along over the years. His chilled out nature can be somewhat refreshing, compared to some of the more chaotic personalities in the coven.

The two have always shared a similar mindset and running in the same circle throughout high-school. Being a friend with Dan, Aurora's one of the few people that tries to get him out of his quiet shell to interact with more people. Aurora finds his calmness soothing; especially if something has gotten her tense and annoyed.

Knowing about his party reputation, she can't say it's her style. The two had never been close; Especially after what Miles had done to Lilith. The two mainly having interactions at meetings and coven events. Despite the past, Aurora tries to remain civil.

First under the impression that Catherine was entirely new; it took Aurora a few moments to realise Catherine was already a Tanner member. With Catherine returning back to Tanner, Aurora feels bad for her witnessing a chaotic first coven meeting. But being whom Aurora is, she has shown Catherine around and is trying to help her when it comes to settling down within the Coven. She looks forward to getting to know her more.

The two girls have had some contact over the years. Whilst Aurora has noticed Laney's love for giving everyone a nickname; whether they like it or not. The two aren't exactly close, but remain civil. Aurora has nothing against her. Aurora knows whom to come to, if she wants to let loose a little bit. As Delaney knows how to chillout.

Aurora knows that Zach's the man-whore of the Coven. Avoids him and always has. She has no reason to run in his circle, even if he is a Coven member.

Aurora knows that Caitlin is considered to be the 'weakest' in the coven, due to her lazy view towards learning more. Concerned about the girls out-look towards magic. Aurora is also willing to be patient and offer Cait advice; if Cait listens to her or not. That's another thing entirely.

Rowan's always been someone Aurora's enjoyed the company off. She's always been a fan of his cooking on the grill at coven events. And is always happy to always recommend her friend to anyone who's looking for beautifully made wooden furniture. Aurora herself even has a few of his crafted furniture in her own home.

Knowing the Pearson family for a long time; Tristan's a good friend to Aurora. The two always having a teasing sort of relationship full of banter. Though she will always hold it over his head that he accidently turned her hair bluey-green with one of his failed experiments. If Aurora ever needs someone; she knows Tristan's one of her 'people' that will always be there for her.

Aurora's always liked Tristan's little sister and have a solid friendship. Admiring her energetic spirit; but she does worry about some of Lydia's choices. Hoping that it just a phase, Lydia will grow out of. She doesn't want to see her get hurt.

Whilst Aurora doesn't have many enemies, Kirstie is someone she has a genuine dislike for. Aurora has always been disgusted with how Kirstie has treated people. And doesn't like the fact that the red head thinks she's better than everyone else. Aurora would happily defend anyone that Kirstie tries to step on with her 'queen bitch' attitude.

'Quirky but sweet girl'
Aurora and Reyna have always gotten along. Maybe it's their mutual kindness to others that made the two girls click. Sure, some of her views might be 'different' to most of those in the coven; but that never has been a problem with Aurora. She finds it interesting to say the least. Same goes for Reyna's sin magic. Not quiet sure how the young girl has tapped into that sort of magic when no one else is capable of it.
