Morganna Cassandra Isobel DeLarosa

Elizabeth Olsen | Character Color: LightSeaGreen
'Evil and Good is a matter of perspective'

Name: Doesn't have many nicknames. Most call her by her full name, but she answers to Morgan*at times, not always*.
Outsiders call her 'Morganna the Knowing'
Gender Female
Age: 24
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Witch or Warlock: Witch
Schools of Magic:
Enchantment (5)
Mind Control: Places target under her control. This spell can last up to 30 minutes, or until broken out of by other means. Morganna's gift allows her to also put the 'target' in a dream-like state with her mind control power. They have no control over what they 'see' when under the effect of her magic. If she's fighting more than one enemy, Morganna uses this spell to her advantage to make her 'enemies' fight against each other, rather than fighting her. The spell doesn't always work on certain targets, if they have a high level of resistance/immunity.
Changeling: Glamour like ability. When a target is under the effect of the spell; She look like someone else that her 'target' desires, or she could look like the most hideous thing on the planet *also see dread*. Those that aren't under the effect of the spell, still see her for her 'real self'

Necromancy (7)
Blood/Bone Magic: Using bones and blood of her enemies; Morganna has the power to place deadly curses/spells on them through such magic. Such effects can only be reversed by her magic only. Blood and blood can also be used to track enemies and certain beings 'down', as long as they are still alive.
Death Sense: Morganna's ability to see and hear the dead. It had first showed itself in the form of nightmares, during her teenage years. After learning to attune to the 'dead' and the 'beyond'. Morganna can see and communicate with them during the day-light.
Life force Absorption: Requires pro-longed contact with target. Sucks the life-force from the target to her. Weakening the target massively. If contact held long enough, could possibly even kill.
Dread: Ability to inflict total and utter 'fear' in her target; causing them to flee or be paralysed in horror. (Whatever the target's fears may be, are manifested through this spell). Morganna's eyes usually glow a deadly reddish-black color when under the effects of using this spell.
Phantasmic: Ability to summon a phantom like beast to fight by her side, for a given amount of time. Once the spell is over, the spell then dissolves into nothing more than phantom energy. The energy is harmless to her and her allies, but burns if the enemy tries to touch and manipulate it to their own usage.

Other Skills:
Morganna is a skilled herbalist. Most of her knowledge attained from reading herbalist books and growing herbs in her back garden. Most of the herbs she grows, she ends up drying and sells from her shop to other Witches and Warlocks for magical purposes. Also provides the coven with plenty of herbs, both fresh and dried for any coven needs. The herbs that she grows in her garden are:

Séance As a skilled necromancer, Morganna preforms the ritual for strangers/and those close to her that need help communicating with the dead. Ritual involves a lot of preparation and tools that she needs, in order to make contact.
Languages: Morganna can speak in various languages, including latin and other dead languages. Mostly when she is casting spells and communicating with the dead.
Scavenger: Aside from Herbs, Morganna keeps a selection of monster parts at hand. They are ingredients for different magical needs. Some of them had been passed down to her from her grand-mother, others she obtained by her own means; when fighting enemies/harvesting already dead creatures. Morganna sells jars of them in her shop. Aside from monster bits, she's also come across some rare items on her scaveging adventures.
Runic Magic: From a young age, Morganna had taken an interest in runic magic. A type of ancient magic that helped enhance a witches/warlocks powers/spells/curses ect. There's a small selection of magical runes in her grand-mother's shop.

Personality: The first few words that come to mind when first meeting Morganna are quiet and mysterious. The witch always had a unique aura about her since she was a young child; maybe it was the effect and influence of different magics around her when growing up, that contribute to such an aura. The mystery held in her knowledge about variety of things. She's smart with an strong aptitude to learn more things in life. Morganna's also more than happy to share that knowledge with those around her.
After the death of her parents, she developed a sense of trust issues. Scared to get close to someone, in case they'd end up being hurt by forces of darkness. It takes her a while to open up to people. But once she has someone in her 'circle', she's very loyal and would do anything to protect them. Even if it means using her magic. Those that break her trust, are met with a very 'bitter' and angry version of her. Whilst she may not forget, it takes a lot for her to forgive if someone abuses her trust. She'd much rather have peace between everyone, than chaos. Not liking to hold a grudge against those that are supposed to be her extended family within the coven.
During troubling times, Morganna often offers her knowledge of things to try and help solve issues. Sometimes, she might not have the answer. Other times, she is an open book of solutions to a problem.

History/Bio:
The Delarosa family originate back to the 12th century. An old family of Necromancer Witches and Warlocks that first resided in England and Greece. As the centuries went on and the legacy of the family grew, the DeLarosa's eventually came to the states. By the time Morganna was born in the modern era of the 21st Century, the DeLarosa family had gained a few enemies over the centuries. Enemies that would remain seeking revenge throughout Morganna's life. Being born to a Witch named Isabella and a Warlock named Markus; she was their pride and joy. Her parents had been traveling throughout Europe when she was born in England. From a young age, she was raised around growing knowledge of Necromancy, Herbalism and other magical skills that would serve her well in her adult-hood.
When Morganna was 4 years old; her parents got killed by a race of creatures that were thought to be extinct for centuries; Demons. Servants of the darkness. The young girl was than raised by her grand-mother Evelyn. A wise old lady, that was skilled in both Necromancy and Enchanting magic. Magics that Morganna herself was learning. Her grand-mother left some people in 'awe' with her variety of magical skills; which included harvesting variety of supernatural creatures upon their death. Using things such as their blood, bones, venoms ect for magic purposes. All of them stored in jars of various sizes.
At the age of 10, Morganna and her grand-mother moved to Tanner. Soon enough getting themselves established and welcomed into the Tanner Coven. It was during her teenage years at Tanner, that Morganna's gift for Necromancy truly began to rear it's head. At first scaring her, that she could see and hear the cries of the dead. Their cries and moans haunting her during the night. After she learned to embrace her gifts, Morganna was no longer scared of them at night; learning how to communicate with them during the day-time. If there was a way that she could help them, than she did.
Between school, Morganna would help her grand-mother in the small witch-craft shop that Evelyn was running. The shop selling all sorts of different things; from magical crystals, ingredients for potions, dried herbs to incense and even offering sessions of Seanse. It was the atmosphere that young Morganna was used to for a long time. Her Grand-mother would also teach her how to harvest things from dead beings. At times taking her on scavage hunts for interesting new ingredients.
Her grand-mother sadly passed on the eve of her 19th birthday. Leaving the shop and all it's contents in Morganna's care. All the knowledge and skills she's learned from her grand-mother had stayed with her till adult-hood. Making the most of everything, that she's learned and been given by her grand-mother.
Into her adult-hood, The young Witch self educated herself with ancient and dead languages, such as Latin. Happy to offer her help and knowledge to the younger member of the covens whom seek to learn such a language themselves. With her grand-mother's shop thriving, Morganna's working full time for the coven along side running her work-shop and tending to her magical herb garden at home.
Misc:
Morganna's home with her herb garden.
Morganna's cat familiar Timothy. Her cuddly fluff-ball. He follows her everywhere.
One day, Morganna promised herself that she will get revenge on the Demon that murdered her parents.
Has a naturally British accent, despite living in the states from a young age.
Her feet hit the pavement as far as they could. Feeling the ground moving beneath her feet with each movement. Valerie didn't expect Ray to come chasing after her. He didn't owe her anything. It had been 10 years; so she didn't expect him. Why would he chase after a normal girl from Rhodes? He was a celebrity. Even if they grew up together; and he had been one of her closest friends. Times had changed. Val wasn't even sure where they stood anymore. If he even considered her a friend, still..after all that had happened. But she eventually slowed, before coming to a stop for him. Taking her a few moments, to even summon the will to look at him. Her face tear strained; her eyes red and puffy. Tears still glistening in her eyes.

For a split second, she felt like her younger self. Anytime, she was upset. Valerie had always run off to Ray for support. It felt like all the air had escaped her; and became trapped in her lungs. Unable to say anything. Waiting, to see what he'd do or say. Part of her expected him to have a go at her, for trying to move on with her life. But instead, he was here apologising for Ryleigh's behaviour and his reaction to finding about Leo. Looking at the ground for a split second, her eyes flickered back up towards his face. Seeing the mixture of emotions in his eyes.

"You didn't have to come after me..." Val said softly, with a hint of sadness. She was a big girl now. Having handled her own affairs for a long time now. Having put up with Leigh's actions for the last 10 years; she didn't expect him to try and help her deal with it. But still it felt nice, that he wanted to check up on her nonetheless. As he cracked the joke about them sharing a single brain cell, a sad smile flickered on and off her lips. It was brief. But as soon as it came, it went. Everything, even that reminded her of Austin and how he always tried to solve everyone's issues. God did she miss him. His brotherly reassurance and comfort. It felt like the group was hanging by a thin thread; even more so now with Austin's passing. He wasn't here, to try and talk sense into Ryleigh. To hold them together, like he once did.

She sighed. "I am not so sure about that. There was a time, where I happily told myself, that she didn't mean it. That her anger would pass...but.." Trailing off, she shook her head. At the mention of Leo, she sighed softly. "It's okay. You didn't know....It wasn't her place to tell." Val felt like she owed him an explanation. Even if he didn't want it. Valerie did want to tell him, herself. But it was hard; especially to find the words. As he seemed to trail off. Valerie bit the inside of her cheek. Waiting for him to snap, or express his anger towards her.

Shaking her head, Val sighed. "Bit of a heavy question, given everything going on." She said truthfully. At that point in time, she wasn't even sure if she was okay. No longer, the carefree, bubbly V she once was. Too much had burdened her over the last 10 years, to remain so. "I am sorry..." Her words coming out weak. Not even sorry what she was apologising for. For him witnessing her argument with Val? for him finding about Leo the way he had? For everything else? Maybe everything and above. But she knew that sorry probably couldn't fix anything. "I know, you're probably angry with me. Feel free to let it out...I mean, I should be an expert with handling people's anger towards me by now." Cracking a lame joke, but the sad truth. Having been dealing with Ryleigh's anger; for the both of them. She had enough experience by now. Not even sure, whom owed the other one an explanation. Maybe they both owed each other one.

"I know you might be sceptical about it. But it is nice to see you." Val finally said. It was the honest truth. She just wished it was under better circumstances.
I am honestly excited for this rp and seeing where it goes :)
Oh lol. I am just used to using gifs in my replies is all. :) so don't have to follow my streak unless you find something that fits.
@Jones Sparrow Dun Dun Dun...the drama continues.
Valerie could feel her palms sweating; especially when she saw Leigh's intense look. She could have sworn, that Ryleigh was almost glaring at her with how long it had taken her to make a decision about the lake house. Giving Jimmy a weak smile, as he thanked them all. Not having anything else to really say, she finished off her drink. Feeling the weird awkwardness and tension, growing again. Val knew that it wouldn't have gone away for long; it never did. And it was just about to get worse.

It took 5 seconds, for things to go from awkward to worse. Leigh of course had to mention, that she had plans with Leo. Sighing heavily. Valerie should have seen it coming. Despite her many attempts to try and fix things, with Leigh; the blonde managed to kick her down. Maybe she should stop trying? Leigh made it clear, that being forgiven any time soon, was out of the question. Even if 10 years, wasn't soon. If anything, it felt like an eternity. Feeling the embarrassment set in, as she heard Ray's comment; which prompted Jimmy to crack a joke.

"Jimmy, shut up!" Val hissed, as she shot him a glare of annoyance. She really didn't need his wise-ass jokes, and him making it even worse than it already was. "Leo's a police officer, he moved to Rhodes about 4 years ago." Valerie explained awkwardly to Ray. She knew details, wouldn't really make their situation better. But why would he be concerned about whom Leo was? Surely, he himself tried to move on? Right? Or so Valerie thought. Awkwardly rubbing the back of her neck as she spoke. "Like Leigh said, I have plans for the evening already. But you 3 enjoy yourselves." She gave a slight smile. It probably looked as awkward as it felt. Not sure, that she would even feel truly welcome later that evening. They didn't need her spoiling their fun.

Before she could even tell Ray, that it was nice seeing him. And genuinely, it had been. Even if it was painful. Ryleigh had to pipe up again. "And there she goes, running off once again!" Maybe it was the few drinks she had in her, or all the lingering anger that had made her pipe up. But her words sounded full of venom; with a hint of sass.

As Valerie was reaching for her jacket; she stopped mid action hearing Ryleigh. Closing her eyes tightly, her jaw clenched. "Seriously Ryleigh?! What do you want from me?!" She asked, exhausted from all their constant bickering. "Do you take pleasure in kicking me when I am down?" Raising an eyebrow at the blonde, whom was once more glaring in her direction. "A little FYI, I am not the only one who's made mistakes here! But it's always been much easier for you to point fingers and put all the blame on me, because Ray hasn't been here for the past 10 years."

"I am not the one, that slept with him and ruined everything." Ryleigh retorted, with a scoff. But what she wanted from Valerie? Well that was bit hard to come by. And probably something that Val already tried to do; but Ryleigh hadn't forgiven her. No matter how many times, she tried to apologise. "What I want?! I want things to be back to normal, the way they were. For the group to be complete.." Her voice cracking a bit, as she was about to mention Austin. But without him, the group would never be whole again.

The age old argument began again. Ryleigh firing off at Val once more. Unleashing that unburied anger and resentment.

Shaking her head, with a sigh. Valerie tried to keep her own cool, but it was hard. "I can't turn back time, Leigh. I am not a Wizard." It's not like she could magically, return things back to the way things used to be. "You know, I used to think that you'd be one of the few people that would understand...and at least feel some sort of sympathy for the situation. But clearly I was wrong." Back when they were younger, Leigh knew of Val's insecurities. But after that night at the lake-house, it was like it slipped Ryleigh's mind. Instead holding everything against Val. Blaming her for everything. "For 10 years, I've tried...time and time again, to fix things. To apologise to you and the boys. To get the courage to write to Ray...to explain myself. But hell...he didn't even try that himself." Val's voice cracked; as tears now freely run down her cheeks. She hit her breaking point. Knowing she couldn't keep this up much longer. No matter how much she wanted to. "But I can't do it anymore. I am done, being your punching bag. I am just done." With that, she fled from the bar. Her jacket over her shoulder, tears clouding her vision. Almost tripping over her own feet; as her pace quickened. Thud. The door slammed behind her, as she run out of the bar quicker than someone could say Hot Potato. Whether the girls would recover from this, was unknown. But this time, Ryleigh had pushed her over the edge, with everything.

"Fine! Run, away. It's all you're good at anyways. Run to your new toy!" Ryleigh screamed after Val, in her own anger.
Wow, It's been a while since I seen a roleplay with such detail behind it :) loving all the images and lore.
Sadly, I have so much on my plate, that I don't think I can join this. But I might stalk a bit and read, as it has peeked my interest nonetheless :)
Ah, hope you enjoy the visit :) at least reading keeps you sane lol.
