Hi guys! I return from the living of the dead! AKa, dead internet.

Hopefully it is fixed for good this time. Went to come on and post last night but something was up with the Guild and kept giving me Server Error messages. UGH!

Working on post now!
Sorry guys. My internet has been sketchy lately.....and since I live a ways out of town Wifi is not an option so...yaaa.... :/
Wanted to ask how I should do my next post, (Just so I don't post something stupid by mistake) In the time skip I kind of lost where the Sacred Grounds group was heading. (Like what does it look like and such? The Lupa hasn't posted for awhile so...)

Sorry, I'm trying really hard to keep up. lol
Sorry for making you wait so long ViolentViolet. :/ But I'm back!
As the Lupa entered the room, James looked up and came to full attention as she began to give them the details of their ‘chore’.

When she stated the sad importance of their tasks, he mentally agreed. The dead would need a proper send off…….

Remembering the moment he had come across the two dead bodies, James again felt the agony and anger rising in him. Whoever had done this…..he wanted to find them and gouge their eyes out.

He glared at the floor while thinking this, until the Lupa said his name.

Slowly his blue eyes rose to hers and he frowned; noticing something for the first time.

This wolf was blind…..the way she stared ahead and spoke to them hinted of it.

While others would have grown doubt of the female within themselves, James felt pride. To be blind and have a pack to ‘watch’ over was a very difficult past so he assumed.

Realizing he would have to speak to let the Lupa know of his agreement he stood and smiled.

“I’m ready when you are. I can do what is asked of me.”
At the sound of Sam's words "Doubt it" in his ears James made up his mind.

Said woman walked to his side and he felt her very nearly press up against him as she studied the clipboard. It didn't bother him much; his attention locked on the page and only shifting when a slender hand reached out to scribble a name onto the sheet.

Tilting his head he raised his eyesight to the figure next to him. Sam gave him a small smile, which he returned quickly. For a moment he had realized just how close she chose to stand beside him.....

Shaking his head free of such thoughts James took the pen from Sam's grasp and paused a moment. Then, he made a low sigh and put his name down on the list.
James Dauntley- Sacred Grounds

After writing his name the man's gaze lifted to see the Ulfric a little ways away from the crowd. The man seemed busy; talking to whom James assumed was his Lupa.....

Dropping the pen down next to the clipboard James smiled one last time to Sam and turned on his heels before walking back to the kitchen bar. Sitting into a chair he grabbed a piece of French toast from the plate on the counter and bit into it quietly; mind jumbled with different thoughts....

James chuckled at Sam and nodded; taking a seat at the bar and taking a deep breath of the sweet smell of French toast.

Slowly, the room began to fill and bustling activity became heavy on their air. More and more pack members gathered, before a tall man appeared and stood up on a small stool at the head of the room.

"Family" he had called them, and right away James knew this man was the Ulfric of the pack. Sitting up straight in his chair he watched him announce the day's chores and activities. A trip to town, patrol, or work setting up the sacred grounds.

Well then.....I wonder if they'd mind my helping them.....

James thought for a moment. He didn't really want to go to town just yet.....not after taking all that time just to get up to this part of the mountain. Patrol didn't seem enjoyable either.....too much moving around.

So, with a smile on his face he stood from his seat and glanced over at Sam. Reaching out with his thoughts he attempted to mindspeak with her, "Do you think the Ulfric would mind if I helped out?"

He stepped foreword through the crowd and made way to the head of the room; where the clipboard had been set.
James hung around it for a moment and watched as other pack members wrote their names and the activity they would like to take part in.

Not many signed up for working on the sacred grounds......maybe that would be a good job for him....
James smiled back to Sam's quick grin and followed her through the entryway doors. She spoke as they walked foreword, "This is our home. Welcome....and don't mind the ill manners you will surely see."

At this he chuckled, "Nothing much bothers me Samantha."

Gazing in awe at the building's interior he was surprised when the woman pointed him in the direction of a nearby doorway. Obeying and walking in that direction, he found himself entering a large kitchen.

A big grin coming to his face he smelled the after scent of a recently cooked meal....French toast to be exact.

James smiled at the Geri's name....Sam...
He took a moment to reach up and run a hand through his hair; blue eyes resting on the woman before him. The way she spoke, in that stern and stoick way, made him want to chuckle.

At her words though he went through with it; releasing the quietest of laughs, "I'm only as tame as the situation calls, Sam. When a family finds two strays out in the cold, do they welcome the docile one into their home? Or the aggressive?"

Shrugging he stepped foreword towards Sam and the door; eyes still on her. His gaze held a rather calm tone, despite the thoughts in his mind. He wondered why her dark eyes caused such a feeling of self awareness in his soul....

Shoving these things to the side he made a small sigh, "Very few times have I found something worthy of my.....aggression.....You saw one of those times last night; when I came across the dead bodies of your fellow pack members...."
James had listened to the Geri in silence; only nodding and giving a small smile while she spoke. He was quiet that way; quiet and respectful.

Trudging through the snow he wasn't sure if he was relieved, or otherwise, when he saw a large and beautifully built house in the distance. This was the pack home? Wow, was all he could think.

As they approached James watched the Geri bound up some stairs to one of the house's front decks. She moved towards a large cabinet set outside.....he assumed this was the pack's clothing supply.

When the woman began to rifle through the drawers and found clothing suitable to her liking, James let out a small sigh. As she moved off to dress he went foreword and found a loose fitting red t-shirt, and a pair of comfortable looking jeans. Tugging them on without much pause he looked up to see the Geri dressed and leaned against the cabinet; staring down at him. Her dark eyes were studious and full of something that made James wary of his appearance; almost like she was judging him.....the way he had once seen a cat perched on a windowsill, gazing out at a stray dog walking past.

Then again, he was a stray after all. This woman was a beautiful creature; much higher than he could ever be in importance.

Tilting his head James smiled slightly; curious of her interest in him, "What?"

Standing he stretched a moment and heard the joints in his back pop, before he blinked and turned to the woman. He had not yet heard her name.....at least that he knew of.

"Say....what is your name?"
James looked up when the woman stood from her cot; keeping his blue eyes trained on her face and nothing more. Her long hair billowed down like waves over her shoulders and her eyes were gazing curiously down at him; her body moving with an eased grace that made James hold his breath for a moment.

Shaking his head he reluctantly stood, then stalked quietly out of the cabin door past the Geri. Her words came into his mind just as easily as a thought, How did you become a werewolf?

Before that she had mentioned returning to the pack home, which he looked foreword to......but that second question.....

Letting out a sigh he shrugged,

"I was walking home from work, in a city not far from here......on my route home I had to pass through the 'questionable' parts of town."

A small smile came to his face despite the pain that had come with that night.

"I was almost home when I took a detour down an alleyway to avoid a suspicious group of kids on the street. Everything was going alright......until I found this HUGE man.....or....wolf man....standing in the dark."

It was one of those forms between human and wolf, but James couldn't remember what they were called.....

"Truth be told I was pretty frightened; especially when the guy started cursing and snarling at me........probably angry he had allowed someone to find him.......well one thing led to another, then I found myself very nearly dying in my bed a few days later. How I survived the change......I don't know."

James looked up at the woman with a chuckle, "For a long time I just ignored what I had become.......guess there aren't many people who chose to do that now is there?"
