Devin was born to a muggle mother and warlock father. They lived their day to day lives in the muggle world while short family trips and holidays would be spent with his magical family. He enjoyed the balance and especially loved to learn from both sides of the family. It was through this balance he found himself enjoying to learn how the two worlds were different.

His selection to go to Hogwarts was a no brainier that both his parents supported. As quick as he arrived he made a reputation for himself as being somewhat intense in class. Not a know it all or anything like that but relentlessly curious and always armed with a question about something. Happy to conduct his own independent studies Devin was ecstatic when he was asked to join in the trip to Egypt.

Devin is the founder and president of the Muggle Appreciation Club (MAC) at Hogwarts. The club meets to celebrate muggle culture. At least that is what it is when talking to any professor. To Devin and other members it is a place where they can go to enjoy the comforts of the muggle world. At first it was seen as a weird thing that muggle born students went to, but after some time watching sports, partying because of some weird muggle holiday, and learning about muggle life had become fairly popular. Devin even got the school to allow the club room to be free of anti electricity charms so a TV and radio would work.

Devin does not have an owl or bird to deliver letters home so instead he uses his friends birds to communicate with his friends and family back home. Since the creation of the MAC he has been able to use email more often, but his mom loves it when he sends her a letter by different birds so he often seeks out new and interested birds to send her letters which mostly feature the topic of magical creatures and places.

We at Hogwarts would like to welcome you to a very special opportunity. At the conclusion of this year we are excited to invite some of our students on a special field trip. As many of you know we have enjoyed the company and guidance of our newest History of Magic Professor Harsiesi. He has decided to offer a once in a lifetime adventure to students including your own. He would like to invite (Xxxxxxxx) on a two and a half week long adventure through the ancient and magical lands of Egypt.

Professor Harsiesi and the group of students will be allowed to accompany a field team exploring a newly discovered magical oasis city found deep in the heart of the desert. Students will be allowed to earn both school credits and experiences otherwise not allowed at through our normal school curriculum. As this would be a special activity we must first get your approval for the student before extending the invitation to them as well. This opportunity is only available to students who have passed their 4th year courses.

Summary of Story
This role play will take a group of students from the fun, dangerous, and unknown halls of Hogwarts and take them on an adventure to the fun, dangerous, and unknown halls of magical Egypt both modern and ancient. I am hoping to have AT LEAST 5 players be active in this role play. Please note that this role play will start at the END of a year at Hogwarts rather than the start. With that in mind please note that while there is a character sheet to fill out there will be an additional part we will do after we have enough characters to start accepted.

Player Expectations

• Post at least once every two days
• Let's all be polite in the role play both IC and OOC. Any major moves (kill or the like) of another should be talked about with the person involved.
• Do not post in the IC until your character is accepted and please post character sheets in the OOC for review. I promise all Character Sheets will be reviewed and feedback given within 12 hours of them being posted.

Two 1x1 Ideas (Looking For Partners)

Been itching to do a fun 1x1 role play. Both are sort of romance/adventure where the characters have plenty of banter. I would be looking for someone who is willing to play a strong female character and not a damsel in distress. Both characters are going to be driving the story after all. Below are the two ideas I am looking for dance partners for.

Spider-Man / Black Cat

In an alternate story line Spider-Man and Black Cat are both doing their part in the city of New York. Black Cat is a modern Robin Hood stealing from all the criminals that betrayed her father while Spider-Man is fighting crime in all its forms. Their paths have crossed more than a few times and every time the young superhero is rendered useless to her charm. During the day the both are students at NYU. What will happen to them will change both their lives? (I have a few ideas of what that is including the two somehow switching the spider powers to Black Cat.)

Exchange Professor at Hogwarts

I recently am on a HP binge so I actually would like to do a slightly different HP story with this on. Instead of playing students I would like to have both play teachers. The idea / plot would be for some reason three teachers have disappeared and no one knows where they have disappeared too. Your character reaches out for help to the Ministry of Magic and instead of sending only Aurora's they also send an exchange teacher from South Africa who will be my character. We can just solve the mystery ourselves after the Aurora's prove to be just as useless as the first years.

Romance the Artifact

A young treasure hunter is driven to find the treasure that consumed his father many years ago. After a young archaeologist finds a hint to the whereabouts of the treasure the two make an unflattering pair as they have to go to a not so friendly country that is home to a very greedy warlord who has a bad history with the treasure hunter. (I can play as either character so I left the genders of the characters open.)

Would love to hear from someone about these roles and get started on a story soon. I would want to do these role plays on a tread and am not overly interested in there being anything over Rated R as far as physical acts. Let me know if you have any questions!

So that is the basic to do for my role play. I have a specific goal / plot idea for this but for now all you need to know is we are going to EGYPT!!! Let me know if you would like to join in the RP and once I have at least 3 people interested I will start working on the OOC thread.
