A New Harry Potter Role Play

@Chiro I haven't really thought much of how strict to cannon I was going to be for this. I don't really see any major issue with the flying teacher adding some physical endurance to their course schedule.

@Sedjwick More or less, but I am likely going to be a little more relaxed on some aspects. The feedback I got from the first try was people weren't really sure how to build out from what I started.

@Inkwell So in my mind I was thinking that our teaching age would be between mid to late 20's (maybe 26 to 29). Then our student age would be between 14 and 17).

@Thesixtdoctor I am very sorry, but I actually don't know how to answer this question. Can you elaborate more on what you mean by what system.

A New Harry Potter Role Play

I have an idea for a Harry Potter theme role play and wanted to see if there was interest. Below is a short write up of what I am picturing.

Each of our characters are part of a new crop of professors at Hogwarts (1 or 2 years exp). What makes it a special situation is we combined make for the youngest teaching group in the schools history. While on patrol our characters find a group of students experimenting with new magic. Our characters go to break things up and in the process of undoing the magic a few things go wrong and we leave with some damage to each of our wands. The issue seems minor so we reprimand the students and everyone retires for the night.

Only problem is the next day when each of our characters wake up we are no longer professors at Hogwarts, but students and somehow have gone back in time. Only instead of everything being the same and as we remember several things are very different (Some are in a different house, others seem to have lost their affinity to types of magic while one is possibly even a squib all of a sudden.

The role play will have our characters navigating the time travel troubles while trying to undo whatever magic was done to us.

I am happy to answer any questions you might have and have not COMPLETELY mapped out this entire idea, but that is what I have so far. I would like to hear from people with ideas or thoughts on the role play story line as I have introduced it so far. A large part of this role play for me is we play professors.
