A little sad, but I guess with a lot of players copping out due to IRL issues, this is quite a lot more reasonable than our last flop.

Looking over the profile on the Union...

I was planning on my Vamps homeland having a sort of Lovecraft Country/Campbell Country feel, mixed liberally with classic Transylvania, itself located not too far away from the desert regions of the middle east.

Would a constant string of historical blood wars between the Vampire houses of said nation, and the possible vampire/lich lords of the Union be possible, lorewise?

Considering their differences on slavery, I could see it as a sort of parallel to the Crusades.

I don't think there'll be such a concept of "hero" or "villain" in this RP.

Grey areas are where it's at familia

On on hand, freeing slaves. Hard to say that's evil.

On the other, definitely not on the right side of the law, and think that they're quaint things that apply to other people. Also quite willing to deal with the underworld in the pursuit of their cause.

They probably abuse the hell out of the fact they're technically nobles of another nation, so they can't be dragged out and executed without risking war.

That, and I'll be playing up the shadowy manipulator aspect of vampires.

The fact that this time it's in the service of a genuinely good cause is an irony I like.
