My schedule has been far busier than I anticipated and while I'm putting in work to stay on top of my other two RP's right now - I think I should withdraw from this one. I hope it continues it's already excellent course but I can't assure any level of consistency.

Thank you so much for the opportunity though.

I gave a warm smile to Ms. Cirsium as she began to bow out of the conversation. I prepared to take Estelle and Luke to the little café just outside of Beacon as I began to pat my various objects of import – just to make sure I had everything before I left. Turning to Luke and nodding, I felt a… Disturbance?

There was this kind of rumbling. Almost as if cataclysm followed behind us. W-what was it?

Well, at first it was just a man in a Hawaiian shirt. That… Was odd. Luke seemed grated just by his presence so I immediately thought it was his father, or – something. They spoke quietly and briefly, they clearly didn’t mince words between the two of them. I thought about asking a question, but before I could Luke turned to me with a nice smile indicating it was time to go for coffee. Happily I glanced at Estelle – she seemed ready to leave too.

Luke opened the door and before I could fully blink he was on the floor.

The girl argued with Luke in a way that reminded me all too much of myself when Estelle and I were littler, when we would fight for mum’s time and affection. It was sweet. Even if it was also overly violent. She got up, introduced herself. The two Schwarz’s even managed to stop fighting long enough to complete two full sentences.

“Well, April, it is a pleasure to meet you.” My knees folding into a proper curtsey as they had so many other times.

Estelle simply gave a bit of a nod and wave. “Nice to meet you April – I’m Bianca’s older sister.” She said with a strong grin.

Realizing this was quickly turning into a Schwarz family reunion I thought it’d be best to head out now. So with that I smiled once more at Luke’s family and left to meet the cold air.

On days like this I found it fairly easy to keep a fair amount of warmth by tucking my wings in close to my body. However, for some reason I still seemed to be colder than usual.

“You seem worried.” Estelle pointed out obtusely not glancing away from the sidewalk as we walked in a now broken silence.

“No, I’m not.” I said attempting to reassure my older sister. But that the thing about older sisters – They never take your word for it.

“What time are you picking up dad?” She said, an audible dissatisfaction threatening to ruin Estelle’s attempts at placation.

“In two hours he’s supposed to be getting in.” I responded, it was only now starting to sink in for me too.

Entering the café the scents of peppermint, cinnamon and other wonderful, refreshing things filled my senses. I took a booth seat opposite of Estelle now that I was face to face with her… She seemed more upset than I had realized. I didn’t want to talk more about dad. Estelle and I rarely fought but when we did it was about him.

“So,” I began probing my mind for ulterior conversation topics. "The Mindaro's are here." I said with a positive tone.

"Nice! Must've been a long time since you've seen them, huh?" Estelle said taking a sip of her coffee with a smile.

"Yeah, I love when they visit. They're just the perfect family - y'know?" I said nearly day dreaming about them.

"Mhm." Estelle said somewhat dejected. “I have an interesting story for you.” She began a small smile working the way in from the corner of her lips.

“Oh! Perfect.” I said happily crossing my right leg over my left.

“I went to the bar the other day.” Estelle said, pushing part of her hair over her right ear.

“Oh.” I said, realizing this was going to be like just about every other story Estelle used to share with me when I was younger.

“No! This is exciting stop.” She insisted waving a hand in my face, forcing a small grin out of me. “So there was this girl-“

“This is exactly like every other story!” I protested. My sister was nice, back in the day some even boasted about her temperance. But that was more or less how you found out who really knew Estelle. She was anything but. Any story from her nights out involved drinking and some cute girl who was definitely the one until proven otherwise at the next convenient juncture.

“No! But it isn’t! Because, okay. So she approached me in her kind of, I think she used her sexy walk.” Estelle began eliciting a laugh from me, but she continued. “So she approaches me and she’s all: Hey baby I just took your purse, now I’m gonna take your heart.”

...

“Estelle were you scammed?” I asked not really understanding the sexiness of taking someone’s purse I guess.

“What? No! I wasn’t mugged she just took my purse at first! Then she sat down for a second, we had a chat and I gave her my credit card for her number.” She stopped looking blankly into my eyes. Almost passed me as she continued to stare in silence. I took a loud sip of my cappuccino. “I think I was scammed.” She said her cold hands cupping her to-go coffee cup.

We continued on for a few minutes sharing laughs, I also shared the advice of getting her credit card back because Estelle had hit a new low for how thirsty she had gotten. This was getting ridiculous. But as time passed our meager few minutes was up and Estelle too had to bow out patting my head as she walked passed to the door. I heard the bells chime and suddenly, I was alone.

But not before too long my phone jumped to life buzzing loudly on the table.

“Hello?” I answered with a bright tone in my voice.

“Is that how you answer the phone?” A familiar voice rung out crystal clear over my phones speakers.

“O-oh, no father. Sorry.” I responded quietly, I wasn’t expecting him so soon.

“I’m at the airport how soon can you be here?” He asked, annoyed.

“I can be there in twenty minutes.” I answered, preemptively grabbing my coat.

“Ah, I thought you’d be ready on time today of all days. I’ll simply use a town car. I have a few errands to do while I’m in Vale, you may expect me at the school in three hours. Goodbye.”

“Bye d-“

The phone call ended. I put the phone down and took a sip of my cappuccino once more. Today was going to be hard.

My apologies for taking so long to post, I'm working on it right now. I don't think you need to reboot but I'm the freshest member so don't let me take too much sway in your opinion.

Bless you!
Hitomi Happily bounced when Daisuke entered the booth to join Commander and herself. She happily nodded along to Commander thanking her for the McGriddles while she snagged another fry, once more a near-silent caw pushing its way out of her lips. This time, it may’ve been a bit closer to a coo of a pigeon rather than a warning cry from a hawk. Regardless, Hitomi was starting to really like having friends. She didn’t usually spend Saturday mornings together with others sitting in a booth in McDonalds. It even appeared as though someone else was eying Commander and herself.

Though, most likely Commander. Hitomi accepted the fact that she could pass off as the moe one of the group. It was known and further discussion on the matter was unneeded. But if anyone ever had to seduce a guard while snatching his keycard from his lapel while dressing up as some kind of fiery hot tamale…

Well, that’d probably be Daisuke actually. He was quite a winner in the genetic lottery. The young girl considered going up to ask for a fruit smoothie, but it was Commander’s words that pulled her thoughts away from the notion.

"Heyo guy. You some kinda Warhol or something? Cause ya sure are eying me and Hitomi's cans."

How strange… Did Commander forget that the food drive was last week?” Hitomi wondered aloud for a brief moment flicking a fry down her small mouth.

Daisuke, you should come by the Holy Grounds some time! I think you’d like the mellow atmosphere quite a bit!” Hitomi happily chirped, deciding to let Warhol-Chan answer for himself. She silently prayed for Andy-Sama. Not many could past the test that was Commander’s insinuations. In fact, Hitomi still wasn’t even sure if she had passed them herself. But given the fact that she was now resting her head on Commander’s shoulder and munching on one of her fries, it was most likely a given at this point.

Hitomi happily jumped at the opportunity to consume some fries and dove in for the kill with a small ‘caw’ escaping her lips as she did. Commander-Sama only chose the best seating arrangements during her time at McDonalds. As such they were seated in the comfy leather seats by the fireplace. Perfect lighting for a hot date with some potatoes and a redhead. It was almost symbolic of her the heat of the fries really.

Truly, it was a beautiful scene before the young girl.

She sat down in the chair cross-legged as the sweater casually slumped off of one of her shoulders as it was known to do given its make. She smiled across the table at her commander and realized one thing was missing from the picture.

You must be wondering where my guitar is! I do usually carry it around in case it finds its uses, like you saw with those…” Hitomi trailed off and leant in across the table so she was only inches away from her friend. “Pizza bots". She said quietly as she retreated back over to her side of the table, nabbing a golden delicious potato slice on the way back.

Happily munching on the salty treat her ears picked up the very thing she was supposed to be looking out for. “Two McGriddles… I have two McGriddles.” A young boy said wearing the typical McDonalds outfit that Hitomi had come to expect from those on the other side of the counter. She quickly hopped up motioning to her commander that she would only need a second to retrieve them.

“McGriddles… For H̵̡̒͛̾̇̂̈́͑̒ͮͥͤ̋͏̭̝͔̖̘ȩ̵̧͉̻̯͉̖̖̥͖̩͙̘̯̩̖̫̗̫ͣ̋̔ͣ̀͡ͅl̶̻͔̹͚̟̼̮͎̺̩̍ͫ̔͋̌ͯͥ͊̑͂̈́ͭ̾́̕͘̕è̸̶̸̡̖͇̼͚̫͙̙̻̪ͯͪ͊̍̉̇ͨͥ͆͋̃̒͗̏͒͋̏̚ͅͅn̸̴̢͇͕̠̫͎̲̩̑̏̂ͦ̅̋͗ͣ̅ͫ̒ͦ̌̒̋̄ā̓͂ͩ̉̿͑͌̉̔̽̀̓̚͏̷͕̙͚̳͉͙̥͖̳͟ͅ.

Hitomi knelt down for a moment clutching her temples that seemed to soar in agony for what felt like an eternity.

“McGriddles for Kimiko?” He called once more.

Hitomi stood back up and closed her eyes, walking towards the boy and grabbing the tray from him with some caution.

“Ma’am your nose is bleeding a little.” He said pointing at her face as he handed over the tray. She simply waved it off wiping the small trail of blood away from her nostril and smiling.

Thanks S’much!” She said with her typical chipper attitude and danced back to Commander. Placing the McGriddles in front of her and sitting back down once more cross-legged. “So, anything interesting happen with you after you know what.”
@HereComesTheSnow

Can you really call mine earnest?

Hitomi quietly hummed to herself matching the overall tempo of the song playing through the speakers above her in the Sacred Grounds Café. She watched as the beans for the coffee she was making for her trip out of the store burned over the small jettison of flame. The smaller girl played with her hair some, curling it around her index finger while she glanced at the clock in the corner for the fifth time in the last minute. It was nearly time for her to leave.

Just one… More… Minute.

The bells on the door jingled as Hitomi heard someone enter the café. She looked like a serious woman and quickly approached Hitomi as she flattened out her apron with a smile.

Hello, welcome to the Sacred Grounds, what can I get you today?” She asked pleasantly jotting down the buyers name on her cup and beginning to prepare the Vanilla Frappuccino. But as if sent by the gods above themselves, her manager came to let her off of her shift.

“Hitomi, it should be time for you to head out, I’ll catch this last order.” The older man grumbled as he grabbed the cup off the counter and gestured Hitomi into the back. She nodded in agreement, snatching her now finished coffee and danced into the locker room quickly changing into her street clothes in the form of a big comfy sweater and a nice pair of dark blue jeans. Quickly dashing out of the café with a wave sent behind her to her manager she pranced down the busy streets on her way to heaven itself.

It seemed like it was going to rain soon, with the weather they were having. It was fairly windy somewhat cold and overcast as far as the eyes could see. But it didn’t bother Hitomi much. It was good that spring was finally starting. It just seemed to be taking its time, that's all. Finally coming upon the golden arches of heaven itself the warm yellow light washed over Hitomi’s face. She gave herself a second to bask in it. It was beautiful.

Speaking of beautiful, a girl across the street seemingly waved at Hitomi. She looked like a true amazon, she must’ve been nearly six feet tall, thin wearing a white dress. She seemed happy. But as a truck raced down the busy street obscuring her view of the woman, Hitomi decided to move on. She entered the McDonalds gleefully peeking down each row of available seating looking for a particular person. One she was forged through combat with.

Commander-Sama?” She called quietly looking for the notable red hair and mountain of fries many could recognize her for.
