Indeed ^^ I shall have a character up when I'm a little more awake and my brain can actually comprehend things.
@RomanAria
I really, really like the star-themed signature you made for Olivia. Could you possibly do that for me except using this quote:

Only in the darkness can you see the stars

If not I totally understand and will fill a form out ^^ Also, if you do agree, just Lyra in the Avatar will be fine, not need to include all the x's.

As another male ran up, it took everything Estelle had not to flee the other way. Two people she was okay with but three? Was it an ambush? Was it a trap? Was she about to die now and with her, Orion's hope of rescue? As the man approached them, Estelle gripped her knife tightly and backed up a few steps, eyeing them all warily. Trust no one. That was Orion's first rule. With the world they lived in, it was difficult to tell the difference between the people that were safe and the people who would blow your face off for a candy bar. Which category did these people fall under? Granted the boy, Todd, he had saved her but what if it was all a ruse to make her lower her guard? When the new man questioned who she was, the little girl crossed her arms over her chest and leveled a stare at him. She was quite good at them, her silent staring. People normally looked away first and she was determined for this time to not be any different. Just as she opened her mouth to tell him who she was was none of his business, she noticed his eyes grow wide and begin firing around them.

The girl whirled and saw that the dead had began to close in on them. She dodged one grasping for her and buried her knife in its brain when it lunged at her. She let the corpse fall next to her as she whirled to face her next enemy. Never stop moving, never let them grab you. Orion's instructions rang through her mind as she weaved around zombies, kicking knees out then dispatching them with her knife. She had a good grove going before her concentration was broken by screaming behind her. She whirled and saw the man from before on his knees, the remains of his exploded rifle next to him. The world seemed to slow down as her choices became clear. She could take this chance and run while the monsters were drawn to this guys screaming or she could risk her neck to try and save him.

She didn't even think twice as she drew her pistol and began to shoot the Walkers closet to them as she made her way over to the guy. She winced at the state of his face before grabbing his arm and trying to pull him to his feet. "Come on or we're both dead! Move it!" At first he resisted her grasp, either too panicked to realize she was trying to help or thinking she was a Walker after him. Finally after a few panic-filled moments, the guy seemed to come to his senses and stumbled to his feet. Estelle pushed him in the direction of a jewelry store, shooting any dead that got close. Once they were inside, she slammed the door shut and locked it, quickly taking inventory of their surroundings. It looked like a two story store and she checked both floors, finding them clear of dead.

That done, she went back to the guy and knelt before him, wincing as she took in his face. "I need to get the fragments out of your face and hands." She told him as she slung off her backpack and jerked out the first aid kit, flinging it open and riffling through it. Before they parted, her brother had given her the antibiotics, water purification tablets, box of waterproof matches, the lighter, and the duct tape from his pack, which would hopefully help here.
@HushedWhispers is currently modding in iSuspect's place. Isuspect is currently on hiatus due to RL events. It came up suddenly and isuspect didn't have a chance to mark Hushed as comod.

Thank you kind madam/sir ^^

Celeste

Celeste trotted towards the back of the pack, ears slightly lowered as she padded forward. Loosing her mother was still fresh in her mind and she was not completely at ease with all of these strange wolves yet. She was grateful they had taken her in as one of their own and didn't leave her wandering the wilderness by herself. If it had some to that she would have lasted longer than a human but still, her mother hadn't taught her how to hunt and she could have quickly starved. Or eaten by a bear or other predators hungry enough. The young pup was glad for her fur coat because though spring was well on its way, there was still snow on the ground and a bite in the air. As the group continued onward, Celeste wondered what their new home would be like. She had been told they were headed for an old mining settlement but she didn't know what that was or what it even looked like. Would there be enough room for them? Who would she stay with? Would there not be enough room and they decided she needed to leave?

She had to forcefully shake her head. Momma always told her she had an overactive imagination and it ran away from her sometimes. Her ears drooped further at the thought and she sighed softly. Momma... Celeste had to force the tears away. No, she couldn't. Not right now. She needed to put on a brave face. At least until she was alone so she could cry without worrying anyone else. A butterfly suddenly fluttered in her line of vision and Celeste paused as the insect fluttered onto her nose. The pup paused and almost went cross-eyed from staring at the butterfly in awe. It flapped its wings a few times before taking off, Celeste watching its departure. She then continued walking.

'We should be there soon, in just a couple minutes I'd say.'

Celeste sighed happily at Ambra's words; her paws had began to grow tired. Soon they were arriving at their destination. The pup looked around, seeing that there were ten small cabins and her worry about there being enough room rushed back though she pushed it away. She trotted into the clearing then padded curiously over to one of the cabins, sniffing the ground around it.
And the post is up ^^

The first thing Ember was aware of was the smell of summer, of freshly cut grass and sweet fragrant flowers. It smelled of the times where she would lay under the apple tree and gaze up at the gray sky, trying to imagine what other people saw. Plenty of folk have told her time and time again that the sky is blue during the day but how was she supposed to visualize that if she didn't even know blue itself looked like? Sure, if given a choice between blue and some color like yellow, she would be able to tell the difference because blue is a darken shade of gray than yellow was. She couldn't recall how many hours she spent with her mom as a child, objects in front of her while her mother told her what colors they were though to Ember they were all shades of gray, white, and black. They made a game of it, her mom picking two objects and Ember having to try and guess which color they were.

The colors on the opposite ends of the spectrum like black or red were easy to distinguish from yellow or white but once it moved into different shades of a color Ember was as good as lost. People took it for granted, the color of the sky. She couldn't remember how many times she viewed how people were too entranced by the devices in front of them to even appreciate the colors around them. She sometimes wondered how lost they would be if they suddenly saw what she has seen her entire life, her world of gray. Plenty of people have asked her how she functions every day, if she misses not being able to see colors other than gray, white, and black. But how can she miss something she has never had? Sure, she sometimes wandered what the dark gray of an apple would look like in red but for the most part she has accepted the fact that she will never see how green the grass is or the sky as the sun is setting. It simply is and there is no reason for wallowing in self-pity.

As she lay there, Ember became aware of other things like the feel of something gently tickling against her arms and legs. Her brows furrowed as her eyes blinked open, the gray world slowly coming into focus. The sky stretched above, a medium gray. As her senses came trickling back to her, she could feel the soft breeze against her sky and hear the gentle rustling of leaves. Her frowned deepened. Why was she outside? Where...Where was she? She slowly sat up and took catalog of herself. She didn't feel sore or bruised anywhere. Nothing was broken and aside from being hungry and thirsty she felt fine. But...something didn't feel right. Why couldn't she remember how she got here? Or what she ate for breakfast? She looked down at herself and felt panic sweep over her. She didn't remember putting this outfit on!

Before the panic could completely consume her, Ember forced herself to take deep breaths. My name is Ember, I was born to a British mother and an American father. We live in a small apartment. I have a baby brother. I am sixteen years old, home-schooled. I am looking to become a professional ballerina. I can remember long-term things, just not the past 24 hours. Everything will be fine, just breathe. She felt her chest loosen up and her heart-rate slow down. She continued taking deep breaths and scanned her surroundings. She was laying on the grass under an apple tree. As she stared up at the crisp looking apples, she deduced they were red judging from the dark gray they were. Granny Smith or yellow apples would be a lighter gray. She could see four paths branching away in different directions. Oh dear. Was this a maze? She wasn't very good with mazes. She was hopeless when it came to directions and navigating. She could also see a well aside from the paths and the tree. The beautiful colors were lost on her but she didn't let herself mourn. She had been like this her entire life and had accepted it as apart of herself. Her mother said it let her see a different aspect of the world.

The petite and 4'11" girl climbed to her feet, brushing off any grass or dirt that might be clinging to her attire. "H-Hello?" She called out in a raspy voice, wondering when the last time she had drank anything was. Was she alone or were there more people here?
