⚠ Warning ⚠
The SCP's found within may induce triggers such as gore and psychological horror. Viewer desecration advised, proceed with caution.
⚠ Disclaimer ⚠
"The SCP Foundation is not responsible for any injury and/or dismemberment dealt at the hands of the SCP's contained within the facility."
We will not be holding your hand throughout this roleplay. If you make stupid decisions that would surely get you killed, then you will die. Now, we're fair and we will allow you to make another character but you only get a three character limit. If you get your third character killed, then you will be out of the game. But you can still spectate the rp. And that's three characters period. If you're playing three characters at the same time and you get them all killed, then game over.
And you won't be going in blind either. Myself and my partner will provide the needed information for the SCP's you go up against, in the form of an in-game sheet detailing the SCP. I will let you know when you will find such a sheet and what it says. I don't mind if you do some research of your own but I will not allow you to meta-game and use the research in-game. Your characters know absolutely nothing about these creatures; so if I don't give you a sheet with information, then your character doesn't know that information.
Also: Absolutely no controlling the SCP's. If you provoke a dangerous one and say you got away without harm, that will be a big no-no and a strike against you. Some of these creatures are faster than you may think. Just as well, if I provide you with information on an SCP and you still chose to engage it, despite knowing what the SCP can do, that's on you and you will possibly die.
These creatures are being kept here for a reason after all.
Accessing D-Class Personnel Information . . .
Class D personnel are expendable personnel used to handle extremely hazardous anomalies and are not allowed to come into contact with Class A or Class B personnel. Class D personnel are to be given regular mandatory psychiatric evaluations and are to be administered an amnestic of at least Class B strength or terminated at the end of the month at the discretion of on-site security or medical staff. In the event of a catastrophic site event, Class D personnel are to be terminated immediately except as deemed necessary by on-site security personnel.
You, my dear players, shall be playing D-Class personnel. Which is to say, you will be the ones that are in direct contact with the SCP's as a means of gathering information about them to report to Class levels above yours. You would have woken up, alone, in a cell, not being able to recall the past couple of years of your life. You are all dressed in what seems to be an orange jumpsuit. You don't know how you got here, you don't even know where here is exactly. You are told, by a face-less voice echoing from a speaker high up in the corner of your room, that if you participate in just a few harmless experiments, you'll be able to go on your merry way.
Of course, life never goes the way you plan. A blaring alarm pierces your eardrums and above the din, you are able to make out the words "Containment Breach". With a hiss, your door slides open. Stepping out, you'll find you're not the only D-Class around. On a wall nearby, you'll discover a map with "YOU ARE HERE" boldly highlighting the lowest level of what appears to be an eight-tiered structure, deep underground. In order to reach the surface, you will need to make your way through the other seven levels but it won't be a walk in the park. To access each level, you will need a certain clearance card that you much search the current level for. But beware, dark things lurk the halls, freshly released from their cages.
Compiling SCP Data . . .
_Object Classes_
Safe- Safe-class objects are those anomalies that are either sufficiently understood that they are now completely and reliably contained on a permanent basis or otherwise do not trigger their anomalous effects unless intentionally activated.
Classifying an anomaly as Safe, however, does not mean that handling or activating it does not pose a threat, and personnel are to be reminded that all Special Containment Procedures and safety protocols are to be observed at all times.
Euclid- Euclid-class objects are anomalies that are either insufficiently understood or inherently unpredictable, such that reliable containment is not always possible, but do not pose sufficient threat to qualify for Keter classification. The vast majority of anomalies cataloged and contained by the Foundation are initially classified as Euclid until they are either sufficiently understood or exhibit sufficient danger to qualify for reclassification.
In particular, any anomaly that exhibits autonomy, sentience and/or sapience is generally classified a Euclid-class entity at minimum, due to the inherent unpredictability of an object that can act or think on its own.
Keter- Keter-class objects are anomalies that pose an inherently serious threat to the safety of Foundation personnel and the rest of mankind and either require extensive and complex procedures to contain or cannot be fully contained by the Foundation's current technology and knowledge.
These anomalies are generally considered the most dangerous ones in Foundation containment, and all research efforts are directed towards enabling more reliable containment of such anomalies or, as a last resort, the timely neutralization or destruction of its anomalous effects.
Neutralized- Neutralized anomalies are those that are no longer anomalous, either through having been intentionally or accidentally destroyed, disabled, or otherwise no longer function or exhibit anomalous effects.
The documentation for Neutralized anomalies is archived for posterity in case the anomaly regains its anomalous properties or otherwise recurs in the future.
Explained- Explained anomalies are those that are completely and fully understood to the point where their effects are now explainable by mainstream science, have been debunked as a false or mistaken classification, or are so widespread and publicly disseminated such that containment is no longer possible.
Thaumiel- Thaumiel-class objects are highly classified and extremely rare anomalies that are utilized by the Foundation to contain or counteract the effects of other highly dangerous anomalies, especially Keter-class objects. Even the mere existence of Thaumiel-class objects is classified at the highest levels of the Foundation and their locations, functions, and current status are known to few Foundation personnel outside of the O5 Council.
Generating Safety Guidelines . . .
Here's how it will work: You will have to search around the current level you are on and I will let you know if you've found the correct clearance card to move onto the next level. The very top is the Directors office and where the door to your freedom lies. You will encounter many things on your journey: be it SCP's, guards and other personnel, or D-Class like yourselves.
Weapons will be scare so keep your wits about you and be sure to stay on your toes. Be wary and use common sense. While some SCP's can kill you just by touch, you may stumble across the very few SCP's that are docile, even some that wish to provide assistance.
1. No god modding. At ALL. If you don't know what God-Modding pertains too, ask please.
2. No arguing in the OOC whatsoever. This has happened to me before and it made me and everyone in the OOC upset so please don't do it.
3. I reserve the right to deny any CS for any reason as well as for my Co-Gm(s), if they can explain to me privately why.
4. Be reasonable when making characters. Please.
5. Nothing past PG-16 for romance. It can be taken to PM's if need be.
6. Me and my Co-Gm(s) word is law. No exceptions. (If you wish to be Co-Gm, let me know. ^^)
7. Like it is stated above, control of the SCP's and their abilities are restricted to GM/C-Gm only.
8. I reserve the right to make more rules.
9. I reserve the right to kick anyone, as well as for my Co-Gm(s) for any proven reasons.
10. Please don't post then disappear. It keeps the rp from progressing forward so please, if you have to go somewhere or wont be on for a time, let me know. please. I've seen many rp's die from this and i really don't want it to happen to this one. so please. If, and this is your first warning, if you don't post when the rp starts and you didn't let me know if you wouldn't be on for a time or something like that and you don't post whatsoever or if you post then disappear, your character will die a horrible death at the hands of the Gallery and the spot reopened. I will message you before i do this to give you a chance to post but if you don't then the character will be dealt with.
11. If you have any questions or you think i missed anything in the rules, please let me know. ^^ i don't bite, i promise.
12. Cussing is allowed just not excessively.
13. This is the Casual forum so standard posting length applies. At least two-three proper paragraphs. More is encouraged.

I'm not going to put any specific number on available spots but it is first come, first serve, and those that commented in the Interest Check take first priority.
Please post your character in the OOC first for review and once you are accepted, you may move it to the character tab.
You don't have to play three characters all at once; you just have a limit of three characters you can make for the entirety of the roleplay.
