I am *dramatic pose* the great and mighty *another dramatic pose* YAMAZAKI!!

Okay, that idioticy out of the way... So I've been doing this whole play-by-post thing for a very long time. Got my start on Gaia Online many many years ago, and in my annoyance of the changes going on there, I finally left and tried new places. Turns out this here Roleplayers Guild isn't half bad so far. Not been here long to judge yet.

So about me in particular? I'm a massive geek (who isn't these days?), obsessed with anime, video games, and D&D and other tabletop games. I have a degree in Computer Graphics, specialized in Animation, and still work retail. I'm married to my lovely, although not always understanding of my hobbies, wife for 5 years now. I just turned 30, so I'm old man gamer these days. GM for my live Pathfinder group (occasionally tangenting into Shadowrun for some crazy fun) every week.

Umm... I can't think of anything else to say right now.

Rivet did her best to hide her irritation. She sent a message to her team's comm's via DNI: He makes another remark like that, forget the job, 'cause I'm break his sorry face. Johnson or not. The rigger took a sip from her beer. This jackass better have more details than an address on this chip. Otherwise this run isn't going to go much farther than this discussion today if we have nohing to work with.
Might be a good idea to have a solid location for character sheets...

Rivet
[ image coming soon, when Photobucket stops being a pain ]

Rivet is a human standing at 5'11", weighing none-of-your-goddamn-business, with a slim but very fit build. She keeps her redish-pink hair short, often framed by a set of goggles. When not running the shadows or working her taco-truck ('Something to Taco 'Bout'), she usually wears a explorer jumpsuit with a hooded jacket over it (and a Lemat revolver in a concealed holster).
Rivet was used to Johnson's being an ass. It was part of the job, sadly. But she was forced to deal with it. On the more fortunate side, she wasn't the face for this team, although she sometimes wished she could speak her mind. After all, she took a great deal of pride in her work, and her vehicles. But she held her tongue and kept a straight face, and let the team's face do their job.

She wore her usual Urban Explorer's Jumpsuit, with a hooded jacket over it. The rigger was nursing a beer while waiting for the Johnson, which she would've been happy to have a few more if the account could afford it. Rivet was careful to leave her taco-truck apron back at the ride, and set the chameleon coating of said vehicle to something more neutral while disabling the advertising ARO's. If the truck wasn't open for business, it wouldn't put on a showy display. But it still had that noticeable food-truck look, regardless of how much Rivet tried to hide it when the shutters were down. And riggered assumed that the fixer network described her team as 'the taco-truck runners'.

Rivet held back a sigh as her mind wandered, waiting for the face to take over...
Keris stepped into the tavern, her cloak soaked through from the rain. This was the first tavern she could find after the rain hit, and sadly it took a while for her to find one. The half-elf walked up to the bar and ordered herself some food and a tankard of ale, then found herself a seat.

Gotta find myself some work here soon. Gonna run out of coin soon if I don't... Upon finding somewhere to sit, she pulled off her wet cloak and set it on the chair, hoping it might dry out some while she was there. Keris scanned the room, looking for job postings or someone who might need something done while waiting for her food.
Sorry for my lack of posting. I won't give you guys any excuses 'cause it won't change a thing, but I'll try to post today before I go into work.
Sorry guys, I was kinda busy the last few days and forgot to check in. I'll try to post after work today, but it may have to wait til tomorrow morning.
@Speedwagon

Keep in mind that it's fairly recent and the OGC is pretty behind on their content. Which means either buy the pdf's or find a way to pirate 'em (which I've been having issues doing lately).

Horror adventures and legacy of dragons. The former has some odd but fun archetypes for darker/evil characters. The later has some sweet archetypes that grant you a drake (which I'm eyeing the cavalier one...)
I'm still in, although I might consider re-rolling a different character. New stuff has come out and some of it is pretty sweet lol.
Tricks are pretty situational, and depending on the animal, it might not be that useful. Just pick what sounds good to you. I've never had much experience with them since the only player of my live group to use animal companions was my wife, who's standard combat plan is charge in with power attack and forget about the companion half the time.

BTW, I'm totally still here lol
