Bio

Hello! Nice to see you, eh?

I'm Yami, a college student and sometimes decent artist heavily influenced by anime/manga styles. Um...I'm not that interesting, really. I do some cosplay stuff and can get really into anything that interests me enough, but that's about it.

I might be in a bit of a slump right now, actually. I'm looking for something really fascinating to pique my interest once again, help me get back into the swing of things. I'm into crazy fantasy situations, especially.

"Sugar cookies it is, then!" Spinel quickly placed the last of the items on the counter, moving them around to keep the dry ingredients next to one bowl and the rest next to a larger one. Once he had everything in an order that he felt satisfied with, he washed his hands in the sink and began measuring out ingredients into cups and spoons. "Wash up first, don't want any undesirable tastes in the food. After that, can you start mixing these into the bowl? I'll get the rest going in the other."

"Vaffanculo!" The short boy was quick to push the guard off of him. They just never listened, did they? None of them ever listened! That crazy scientist, the guards, the contacts who had promised him his charge back, that stupid girl who didn't even care enough to even contribute to any sort of planning, and now this bozo who was probably looking for a promotion for doing nothing. None of them even tried! Nobody ever tried in any of these stupid places in this whole stupid country, it seemed! It was more than infuriating, it was maddening! If at least one of them had even made an attempt...

Grabbing the push broom, he bolted out the door before the guard had a chance to try stopping him for something ridiculous again. As he slammed the door on the way out, he hoped that it actually would jam. Maybe then, at least one idiot would think twice before just ignoring him again.

...Even if it had meant to be little more than an excuse to stay out of trouble this time. But hey, how exactly did anyone expect him to do as he was told with all of these busybodies obstructing his progress all the time? Did they expect to be able to do this when they sent him out on actual missions, because that was more likely to get him killed.

This place was more like the Fun House than any kind of real research facility to him.

Trying not to let the frustration shake him any more than it already was, he ran off in search of another room to check. They clearly weren't actually trying to make this like a real mission after all, so he might as well just keep to the obnoxious agenda and figure out ways to game the system on the go.

Maybe nobody else here had any real goals, but he had someone depending on him. He couldn't lose, not now.
A bit disappointed that nothing bigger than what appeared to be a measuring contest happened between the two girls, Olivan released a puff of air in a dissatisfied sigh before standing up to leave. How boring. He had expected a lot more based on the magical readings he had been getting, but the efforts were...childish, at best. Perhaps that was good for him, though; that meant that he didn't have much to worry about, whether he tried to compete with or avoid the others. So far, the most appealing prospect had been the short-fused ice girl, and that could only provide so much entertainment.

Ah, well, the tall boy mused to himself as he fixed the violet punk-style waistcoat on his way out of the gym. Perhaps the upcoming class will provide more interesting results.

The phoenix grinned widely, still running around to collect materials. "Cookies would be great! That way we can eat some, too. Oh, but pie is kind of traditional... isn't it? I don't honestly know where I remember that from." He tilted his head to the side for a moment, giving a slightly confused look as he continued to place the items he found on the counter. "What flavors do you like, anyway? Or should we go for something generic? We can pick either depending on that, I guess."
Rebooted. Feel free to join in.
@Peaceless I have no idea if that's the correct term or not.

It's awkward, but technically correct as far as I understand.
Reboot is up! If you want to rejoin, feel free to. If I have accepted your character here already, we can just say that they're already accepted and they are free to be moved to the character tab.

Sorry for the wait, and welcome to the carnival!
(To be edited - I have a few aesthetic things to add in here before I'm satisfied.)

"Why are you here? It's because you're unfortunate! Don't worry, this is a pretty nice place most of the time, and we take in all sorts of people. From misfortune-bound drifters to runaways and even just lost persons. I'm afraid that you won't be able to leave for the time being, though. I'm sorry!

For now, though, I suggest that you try to get a contract with the current owner of this place. He's right in the tent at the center. Meet him after the midnight performance, and I can guarantee you a good chance!

Good luck! Maybe we'll see each other again."

- From this interest check.

Many people often feel misunderstood. Even more so when you find yourself a bit...different from most humans. The world can be a cruel place to those that don't fit in quite right, and humans can often be crueler to those they don't fully understand. With a past and a fate like yours, it's no surprise that you may feel like so unfortunate...

...but then you find the carnival.

Unfortunate souls, sorrow no more! For this never-ending festival shall shelter you from your worries for the night. Or longer, should you wish. Here, if you happen to have enough luck for one night, you may make a contract with the owner and find refuge with the other misfits who can be found here. One way or another, you will also make it to this place. Your misfortune calls you to it, in an attempt to ease you troubles, perhaps.

Of course, every strange deal made with odd beings at a supernatural carnival usually has some kind of unexpected price. And this might be one that grants either the greatest fortune or misfortune of your young life.

Rules!
1. Please respect all rules, both the ones here and the ones for the Guild site.
2. If you feel that there are any errors or anything that needs consideration, feel free to discuss with me. I do have the final say, however.
3. Suggestions are appreciated, but please be respectful.
4. Please respect the GM, any possible Co-GMs, and the players. It's fine to have disagreements, but keep fighting to a minimum in the OOC.
5. Make sure your "spoken words" are visibly different from your unspoken ones, please. I would appreciate if people can actually tell what you're typing as well, but I won't go crazy over spelling.
6. Anything over PG-13 needs to go to the PMs!
7. Make sure whoever you are replying to has a way of knowing that you have replied (Mention, Quote, Specific Names...).
8. If I feel the need to add/change/get rid of rules, I will leave a message in the OOC prior to doing so.
9. DO NOT CONTROL CHARACTERS THAT YOU HAVE NOT CREATED YOURSELF. Specifically designated NPCs do not apply to this rule (I will let you know which ones they are). Collaborations are fine as long as both(or all) parties agree.

Currently Used Powers

Weather Control
Summoning
Fox-Like Characteristics
Spirit Manipulation
Shadow Manipulation

Guiding Characters
(NOT NPCS. Find these ones if you don't know where to go next.)

Wait, did class just end? I thought they were just starting.
